The flying dude has to be you!!!! I don’t mean to spam but it’s so crazy to me that I have literally seen you on multiple occasions…. My mom and dad were stuck for 5 hours!
Single engine at night is sketch city. The darkness really decreases options if you have an engine out. I have no idea what the facts were leading up to this, but I can only guess it was a power failure and forced, off airport landing after dark. Roads being illuminated as they are provide a tempting option, but there are other hazards that cannot be seen - like wires. I hope the folks onboard did exit the craft safely. This is high on the list of a pilot's worst nightmare.
