I Survived an 8 HOUR LAWN MOWER RACE

We went from firmly being in the struggle bus, to actually fighting for the lead! This was an incredible race weekend with the BLMRA at The Double Four! An Endurance Lawn Mower Race across two days. Richard and I took on the race as a team, on our Group 3 Westwood Lawnbug!

Haha most of it is an Insta360 I kept running, the pitstops were a challenge! We definitely lost 30-60 seconds over the race as it took longer to do the battery change than the fuel and driver change!

I don’t understand why the BLMRA don’t use handle bar Bugs for sprint races? They are faster than a steering wheel Bug in a short race.

It's how most people have them! We do have a couple of members that use bars, and they are quicker in some corners - but I think if they were better, we would all be using them. Plus, I like that the inputs are more similar to a car/kart than a bike. Just my thoughts.
