    any issues with heat right there? Did you have to change that brake lever adjustment bolt to get the extra space too? I'm in the same spot but I'm a little concerned about heat from the exhaust affecting brake fluid and the extra "down" angle the brake pedal would be at.

      No it’s hasn’t effected it at all. My boot will rub on the exhaust a little and leave a little black mark but it hasn’t melted my boot or anything. It’s been a game changer on the bike. It’s not a touring bike now but I can enjoy riding it all day without hurting.

      I have ridden it on some short rides and it feels much better. Feels better on my hips and knees. Can’t wait to do a long ride on it. Thanks for watching.

    I like these bikes but the high footpeg position is the reason I wouldn't buy one. You can't stretch out on these bikes.

      I agree. I rally like the mid size lighter bikes. At 6 foot it was a little cramped. But lowering the pegs and raising the bars made a huge difference. I also added a seat cushion that raised me up a little more too. I’ve ridden it for 5 hours straight and was feeling pretty good afterwards.
