You’re doing a great job on your videos. As an old guy in the states, where we don’t have Lupos and I don’t drive slammed cars I still really enjoy watching these vids. Keep it up!

This brings back some memories. Had a little stancey 1.4 about 13 years ago then a not so stancey 1.8t track car a couple years after. Even bought a tatty old gti after owning a few propper performance cars the gti still felt so cool to be in after looking up to them as a young lad. Lots of love for this platform, met alot of my friends through cars at that age

So many dangerous things on so many levels. The helper spring is there to stop the spring from unseating when the suspension droops not just when the car is on the lift. Your bodywork is top notch but no mechanic would think any of this is safe

Christ this took me back to my youth. But showing some age. That was with polo’s, a 6n 1.4 16v then I thought I was a baller with a 6n2 gti. Brilliant video!

The nostalgia of 2012 when MK was rammed with 106s, Saxos, corsas and lupos!

But on a Fiat Seicento, again with TA Trchnics.
    Good work!

Never seen such a simple engine lift, love it, think you had an extra 10mm before hitting the bonnet. Down pipe's flex is on the edge though.

No, Corsa B shocks don’t lower the car, but they do keep the spring on the car in stead of on the road…😅 as long as it’s a good brand it drives fine. Also taking away the helper springs is just stupid if you have that much threads left… 😂 of course if the rims a wider it’s a must with camber, but with this car it was not a problem

Josh, really nice...Im a old man, and about to build a Lupo, and Im woundering have you fitted Golf MK3 coils on a Lupo...⁉️ I mean can/could/should it fit, have shock and spring like a ordernery front coilover... and you maybe ask why not "JUST BUY THE PROPER ONCE"... its a budget thing, if I can fit Golf Mk3 coils I can save from 50- 75 £... Do you know if they fit? Nicely done! ⁉️😜

I never found an issue with corsa b shocks on my lupo, one thing they were good for is keeping short springs captive when you jack the car up

Same, I dropped a pre-facelift Arosa SDI on Golf front coilovers and chopped rear springs with Corsa B shocks and it rode great.

Good video, these subframes need to be better painted at manufacture stage.
I know they get abuse with salt etc.
I'm going to do a subframe of a 1991 car, thinking of galvanising it then paint black.
    Good idea.?

What is safe about stretched tires on oversize runs I’ve seen numerous occasions where they’ve come off rim lost control and crashed and also seen lost of life due to stretch ties

The J in a wheel spec doesn't have anything to do with width, it denotes the tyre bead seat profile of the wheel.
Pretty much every wheel these days uses a J bead seat profile, some older JDM wheels have a similar JJ tyre bead seat profile (the wheel spec will say 7JJx15 for example), and back in the 60s and 70s there where a bunch more tyre bead seat profiles.
It makes me grind my teeth when people use J as an alternative to 'inch".
