My machine doesn't say its heating and when I press the lungo button it just makes a sound a few times and nothing happens....? It has a full tank of water, how do I get this machine to work?

Ok after getting stuck in a descaling loop (you really need to fix that, once pressed there is absolutely nothing you can do till it finishes correctly, if it fails you MUST do it again), after about 30 loops some water finally came though the machine.
