- If you recorded with D-Log M 10-bit by accident, and you want the clip to look great again, you can use the Mimo app to apply the DJI LUT to your footage.
I show you how easy that is.

THX a lot ! Just learned it !
would this osmo mimo app color recovery be the same result as if we applied it on davinci using the osmo rec.709?
yes
Not a Mimo user, but doe this Mimo LUT work in all lighting situations, such as when at the beach or conversely when filming in low light. I would imagine the Mimo LUT is a good jumping off point, allowing user to make minor tweaks in editing - am I understanding this correctly? Thank you! 👍🏻
When you edit your video in the app you can use filters, and change brightness/contrast etc. no different as from a desktop application.
@@mygiguser Thank you for your response! I have another quick question: Does applying the Mimo LUT on its own enhance video quality compared to filming in auto mode rather than D-log? In other words, will shooting in D-log and then applying the LUT lead to a better final result?
would be fantastic to compare it to normal colour mode ...all 3 side by side if it makes to shoot in d log m
👍🏽
Thanks been asking other reviewers and no one new how to with the mimo app
But how do you apply different LUTS on mimo app?
you can't
Thanks for that
I gather the Pocket 3 LUT is part of the download when the MIMO app is installed. Am I correct? You did not say this. Yesterday, I wanted to use the LUT in Davinci Resolve. I downloaded it from DJI easily. Chatted with their support chat app and got some rather incomplete instructions for installing into Resolve, and no information on how to use it in Resolve. Your video seems to be just the only one available that gets anywhere close to providing useful information. For that I thank you. If you happen to know how to use the LUT with Resolve, I would appreciate the information.
Do you always need to have the cellphone on? Or one time that you put the lut it will save
you do it when you edit the footage
@@mygiguserYou do what, exactly, when you edit? What you said was not clear to me.
thankyou
Nice. Video
