This is an introduction to inner worlds and what they can be, in addition to a glimpse into our own inner world. If anyone has questions about our inner world, please leave them in the comments section!
Our inner world is probably kinda plain sort of compared to others lol. It's sorta this black plane where we can freely roam and you eventually find a door to the room one of my alters stays in it looks like the room I stayed in for a couple years. You go farther back into it and eventually happen across a forest and it's a huge forest and beautiful and relaxing. I don't know if there are other places I haven't seen yet but from what I'm aware of that's all there is. I'm glad you're bringing this up because it's not commonly talked about in DID videos.
I would totally watch an hour long video, I find innerworlds so fascinating. Does it look like the outer world, can you touch and feel things, is there weather, do alters choose where they go, how do alters get from one place to another, are there animald, are there "NPCs"? Im full of questiond, lol. Please do a part 2.

I, for one, am down for an hour long description of who lives where! 😁 We have a planet with several continents, a lot of which is still undiscovered, and a sort of ”moon” or a ”small, revolving, protective planet” that contains a northern and southern forest of our highest protectors. Do all your parts/alters live in the same inner world or do some live in a separate inner world/continents or countries?
I have some in 3rd world countries, some in futuristic cities, one in cold mountainous regions. And oddly, one residence is in a sewer system.
We must have at least 2 inner worlds. Because Audrey's is the only we can enter - but just to observe. And the others of us don't live there.
Only Molly can visit Audrey and interact with her because she was adopted by her.
My innerworld is like a whole planet where they live in different continents
I have had years to fine tune the innerspaces (from age 10 to 65 yrs) Mine is literally a place where my crew escapes to, or rests in until they are needed. It's in a forested are with a pond and flower/butterfly/bird and animal filled meadow, there are trees that are climbable and a few hiding places for the otherkin. We have a huge outdoor play space for the littles as well as a back deck with multiple hammocks to relax on and watch nature. There is a 3 story mansion on the property, the standard things you find in a wealthy person's home but there is also a soundproof safe room, for hiding far away from triggers, and another that is for the occasional uncontrolled rager, or the fragment that is slowly emerging to join the level of fully formed headmate and needs to be left in peace. We tried to create a wildflower garden in the back yard and the city we live in decided it was weeds and came on the property and mowed it down.

Our inner world is a lot like our childhood home, with a Circus tent to one side of the driveway (it's a long driveway) and a forest on the other. The only real difference with the house is that it's much cleaner and nicer, and the hallway (which only had one room in the external world) stretches to fit rooms for us all.
There's still places I can't access, like our childhood bedroom and the room at the back of the house, but it's... Nice. Even though it's similar to our childhood house, it's much nicer and feels like an escape a
I went into mine for the first time yesterday, after falling into a trance dissociated state. My body fell limp and I then saw the inner world where I appeared to have fallen limp as well. My headmates were holding me and making sure I was okay. The room itself is dimly lit, some sort of sci-fi ship or facility. The floor was all black. I didn't stay long, however, I came back to the front.
If I had to make any guesses as to why it looks the way it does it probably has to do with how as a child I watched my older brother play Halo 3 almost every day. I never played it but it helped me escape mentally from our household. The multiplayer maps look very similar to how my inner world did. I could only see one room, however, so I wouldn't know if it's larger.
I’ve never been to mine. Do you have any tips for what you were doing right before you went into innerworld so I can try? I’ve known for about 3 years about the system and I don’t yet think I’ve been to the innerworld. So I wish to go and see what it’s like.
That is awesome what you explained about inner worlds. How yours wasn't completely visible at first. Thanks for the info on where to start your communication with my alters to know better how they live.
Our inner world is still growing, because well yea it was to small.
Now it’s kinda cool.
You have a sort front room, that’s where if you are there you front. You can’t just go there as it is a long way walking so everyone will notice.
Then you have a plain white room, it’s REALLY big. There is a couch and some chairs. That’s the room where we hang out or have meetings.
If you go through a door in the meeting room, you get to the room of our little. Idk how her room looks, I’m not allowed there.
An other door takes you to my room, a room with wooden walls, bureau, clothes.
I like to keep it simple and because in the real world I have a big chaotic room that I dislike, I have a smaller one in my head.
An other door from the meeting room takes you outside. There you walk and find Max’s house. Idk how it looks never been there.
An other door from the meeting room, takes you to Layla’s house. It’s very bright and clean. It looks nice.
Idk where the rest of us live. I might walk around for a bit. Because I’m not used to the inner world yet.

Ours is one big ship (based on a specific media we consumed heavily as a kid to escape), but there is a room that's unaccessable to all but two people- the host and his boyfriend. Other than that, everyone can access any part of the ship, everyone had their own rooms, and generally we coexist well considering there's only 25 of us. - Nick
so our inner world is a big house, with places outside (our gatekeepers dont let me out of the house) so we all have our rooms and its so nice because we all get our own space and it just automatically changes for what we want our perfect room to look like. (we have no idea how it does that dont ask me)

I used to write about my inner world when I was 14 and now I can't remember anything and I feel like I'm just making this up in my head and it just feels like it's so impossible, like it can't be real, but I can't just pretend that my memories from when I was 14 didn't happen, now I feel like I'm faking every time I communicate and I feel like everything I've been through is all made up, every time I try to communicate I feel like I'm faking and I feel like I'm constantly stuck between continuing my life forgetting everything that's happened to me in the past months and going to the hospital to tell them what is happening. I don't know anymore maybe it's all just fake or it's all just my mind being traumatized and the voices being flashbacks or memories or just my imagination. I just don't see how it could be possible but I just can't escape it, I can't escape them, every time I think about them I hear them and new ones appear, I feel like I'm not living, people in my life are in my head and there are so many fictional ones that it just seems impossible like this can't be real and I'm making this up because I'm lonely and I want to escape my life and I ask myself why would I force myself to suffer but maybe that's what I want or maybe that's how my mind copes, I don't know anymore I'm scared to try to communicate or try to switch on purpose and I'm also scared that I'm becoming schizophrenic or that I'm a psychopath or I'm just losing my mind, I don't know anymore

We have aphantasia we can see our inner world our our alters unless another alter is fronting to help with those things. 9.5/10 We can't see our inner world or alters unless an alters is co-fronting or sometimes we see it when wew split but there is a 5/100% chance that happens.

We live in a giant ever-expanding very old old house down a country road, and we dream in it. Ever have dreams in your inner world? The weirdest new development is a geodesic dome room unlike the rest of the house! That was a surprise...

Does a host enter the inner world? I am just now excepting our system and its very hard because at first it was lost memories and weird clothes and it was just very scary and I'm scared ill be institutionalized for this and all of us except our host is very scared of hospitals

Wow. That's actually really interesting. My thoughts (I really don't know) is that it is, because it's not just that alter that has to 'imagine' something, it's the brain. And that is, assuming that the innerworld isn't processed as actual sensory information like a (super-)dream.

How do u communicate with a notebook? When i switch i never think to look at notes. I just do whatever that person wants to do. My memory is bad so i cant remember to look at a notebook. Any tips?

I just have thoughts... but ive had weird personality changes after I started takin medications like SSRI and prozac. I wanted to murder cats at that phase.. and i knew something was wrong.. cause i dont hurt animals and i love animals...
