  • How to run your Cake Business in an inflation is a conversation that we need to have as bakers. Given, the high cost of goods at the moment, among which are cake ingredients and items used for baking cakes and other sweet treats/confectioneries, one cannot be in the dark about what to do.

    Thank you so much for sharing.. God bless you more abundantly. Is it advisable to tweak (manipulate)one's recipe to suit the price a customer can afford?

      I'd rather you use an oil-based recipe, which is more economical but has good quality.

    What do you advise a baker who's a bit scared of starting out because of the inflation in Nigeria?.
    How can a baker observe the difference in their competitors?.

      The fact is the challenges - inflation and others - would always be there so it's better you start and do it afraid. However, I would advise you get proper and sound teaching/guidance from one who's knowledgeable about Cake Business and who's excelling in their business despite the challenges.
      I don't quite get the second question about observing the difference.
