i think the three states are called fallow, inclemency, and plenty for all locales. but each locale has a specific inclemency; sandtide for windward plains; and downpour for scarlet forest
Everything looks so good, especially the cleared up Scarlett forest! and the story this time does seem to be kicked up quite a bit, which has me really excited! I just can’t believe we got all of this during state of play rather than tgs lol
I admit, seeing the palico wack the oviraptor looking dinosaur monster made me laugh. Also kinda glad that she actually does something and doesn’t just stand around like the one in World (Rise didn’t show any of them at all, other than just in the first cutscene).

Yeah im pretty sure that’s what it is. Each area will have a different inclemency that buffs the areas apex predator
Inclemency is the overall name for harsh weather conditions across all regions. The inclemency for wplains= sand tides, sforest= downpour
