Wow, that autofocus works surprisingly well ! Like the bokeh it gives for such a small sensor. It's a good camera for your unboxing and things like that. Cheers!
Alright Tone. Yes, I'm really surprised at just how good this camera. It'll defo be good for a bunch of stuff. The real mad thing is that it cost me the equivalent of about $280 and it came with extras. Cheers, Dave.

Alright Jon. Yes, it’s a nice camera with good focus and good close focus. I’ll do an unboxing soon, it came as a kit with some extras including a second battery, charger and soft carry case. Best bit, I found it in our local Currys store it was selling at £217, which I thought was the wrong price. Anyway, the sales guy was excellent he told me that the price was because it was the demonstration unit and the last one, Currys actually didn’t have this on their website as it is an end of life product, so because it was the demo one he knocked more off and charged me only £200. The camera is in what looks like perfect condition and all the bits were unused. I think the camera used to cost £650 on its own, so I don’t know how much the kit version cost with all the extras. Although the Sony ZV1 is technically a better camera, there’s stuff I like more about this Panasonic, so hopefully it will allow me to get shut of the ZV1 while it’s still in perfect nick with some batteries and bits. I’ve now kind of worked out that any videos cameras that are based on stills cameras, like the ZV1, which basically have the ergonomics and shape of a stills camera, are simply not for me. I’ve used proper video cameras for so long now and expect certain physical functions on them, things that you don’t get on stills/video styled cameras, certain buttons that mean you don’t have to go diving into menus etc. just to change a simple function. I’m still thinking about another main camera but most of the lower priced end of the high end cameras are basically stills types that do video, Sony A7 types etc. What I’m looking at is something like the Sony FS5 and FS7 but can’t afford those kind of prices. That all said, my main the camera which is the AX100 that’s in in shots in this video, is still a great camera. Cameras are a pain in the arse :) Cheers, Dave.
@@DavidHarry I love my Hero 8. I doubt I will bother with a 10 when it comes out. You put me off getting the 9 too lol. Got my Zoom F8n coming tomorrow. Can't wait! Finally relegate the Tascam to backup duties only.

I've had an ebay alert set on the VX870 for two years, but never found a deal on this side of the pond that compares to what you got it for!

Not sure I’ll bother with the 10 either. After the 9 I’ll probably have to think twice about any future GoPros.
