I am looking to buy my first trailer. I really like the Little Guy Max. I appreciate your attention to details, organization and sharing the links to products. This will help me so much!
Had to get Ann out of the bed to come in and watch this video. Couldn’t believe my eyes. Christi hasn’t changed at all but the beard and the gray hair was a shock. We came through Arkansas in October and started to call you, but it was a work day. I’ll get your number from your dad and give you a call. Good to see you guys! Mike and Ann Pelham
It's amazing what you can get packed into that basement. I know in mine, I have lots of stuff and some of it is hardly ever used!! For a smaller trailer though, the Max has some of the best storage room both under and inside the trailer.!!!
Good morning from Ohio! Wanted to share that we got our table from Austin and it is just beautiful, thank you fir sharing. He is such a gem as are you two🙏🙏
Hi Folks, Great information! Lovin' both of your organizational skills and tips. I have a question not related to this video but I saw your spare tire carrier in the rear receiver in another video. Would you please share where you purchased it?
@@TurnerMaxAdventures there are some small teardrop campers, but nothing like this. Plenty of larger caravans… but nothing in between like these. I’m so jealous, I want one!! 😁
Hey! We are tent campers but looking at buying a Little Guy MaX in the future. Just the 2 of us and our dog. Love this vlog! This is very helpful. Noticed they hubby’s shirt. Hubby was born in Ft. Huachuca, AZ. His grandparents retired in SE AZ. Love that area!
OK, I just found this video and I can see you are still out there camping with the LGM! I agree that the LGM is great for one person or a couple. I like that the dining area converts to a bed. My best girlfriend and I want to go camping for a "girls only" weekend. Thanks for all the work you both put into this channel! ~ Diane
Great video what a lot of very helpful information. I have been battling with the best way to store and pack the basement. I love what you did with the awning pole - i have to bend my back to get it clipped in to the way the factory puts it. Do you have any issues with the weight being so far back making it rear heavy? Also, what kind of drinking water hoses are you using? What is the temperature sensor used for? Thanks again.
Ed thanks for watching!! Honestly the heaviest thing we have back there are the ladder and the grill. Most of the rest probably adds up to much less than both of those things. We use the zeroG hoses o e 25 ft and one 50 ft. They are drinking water safe and give us flexibility for length needed. The temp sensors are because I like to know the temps as we camp mostly for when we cold camp. How cold is the basement, the water heater compartment, or the front storage box with our propane.
@@TurnerMaxAdventures Thanks for the reply. I am getting tired with wrestling with the conventional water hose that is drinking water safe so I will check out the zeroG hoses.
I'm really digging your videos! I do not own a Max but I'm in the market for a small trailer. I have a wife and 2 small kids (3 & 5) and I'm really sold on the Max but everyone says it's just too small. I'm wondering if you think I could add a mod to the dinette area to have a bunk bed (I'm not interested in the Camp Rover because it loses so many windows)? Anyway, even if I don't end up with a Max I'll still enjoy your videos :).
As much as I love our max, I wouldn't recommend it for a growing family unless you also have a rooftop tent or someone is ok sleeping outside. I think your kids will grow out of it more quickly than you think. The tanks would be challenged to support 4 people for longer than a day or two. Just my 2 cents, but when our kids were young we had a 28 foot passport that served us well. We were new to rving and did everything wrong you can imagine, but , we had enough space for 4 of us to be inside on a cold rainy camping trip a few times. If we had something smaller I dont think it would have worked for us. Thanks for watching our channel. It's encouraging to receive feedback like yours. I hope you find something that fits your family well.
Can you explain the purpose of the temperature gages?? Did you change out the locks on the storage doors? If so what did you use? What items do you use to secure your trailer? Any link to these items would be helpful, thanks.
We camp in seasons where it can get below freezing sometimes and we want to know the temp in the basement, water heater compartment, and propane box(more about how hot it is in summer) Gives me piece of mind to know the temps in those spaces and if I need to heat up/cool down any of them.
I noticed a straight black large diameter pipe that went along the front inside of your pass through storage. It looked like you might have fishing poles in it? You didn't mention it, but I was wondering exactly what it was. Thanks!
Love your videos and the LGM! I had previously seen your sewage hose storage mod video. When did you move it from underneath to the front and why? I do like it stored on the tongue which means it is even more easily accessible while continuing to free up storage space in "the basement". Did you have to move or adjust the propane storage box in order to get it to fit there?
Sorry, Vivian. Somehow we missed your comment. We moved the sewer hose storage to make it more accessible. We didn't have to adjust the propane storage box. 🙌
@@TurnerMaxAdventures Not a problem, I think you guys actually did mention it when Chris did the modification to beef up the front tongue but I appreciate the follow up, thank you!!👍😄
You are right, I installed a progressive industries EMS-HW30C Hardwired EMS-HW30C RV Surge & Electrical Protector About 2 years ago. It has served us very well. There are newer models with more bells and whistles now, but at the time this was the best one out there.
This gave me so many ideas of things I need to invest in once I get my camper. Thank you for such a thorough video!
Awesome!! ❤
Thank you so much for showing what fits in the basement space! 😮❤❤❤❤

This looks like a lovely trailer

😂😂😂 I hate it that Ann had to get up for that.
I'm impressed with the storage capacity of the LGM and the level of prep you both do. Kudos !

Yes, Toolman! It has great storage! 👏
Thanks!! They aren't really great but we are having fun. That's good enough for us.😂

I so wish I could get this camper in New Zealand 😩 love it! Great amount of storage.
Oh dang! Sorry, girl! Is there anything similar that is available there?

I totally do tetris. Lol. Best way to pack

Love your videos! Can you share how you have decorated the inside?
Here it is Sandy! This is our tour inside. Thank you for watching!!! ua-cam.com/video/9y6enmpXpbw/v-deo.html
I’ve learned so much from you guys! One thing I didn’t see here though - no water filter? Thanks for all the info!!
Thanks, Michael!!! Yes, we use a standard RV water filter.
Awesome! awesome! Thanks so much. Really answered some questions I had. Makes a great "must have " list too!!
That's great!! Thanks, Lynne!❤
Very organized!! Nice video🥰
Thanks! If you aren't organized before getting the Max...you will become organized quickly. 😂
@@TurnerMaxAdventures I was wondering your height. I am almost 6 foot. Would I be able to stand in the LGM?
Yes!! The interior height is 6'7.

It was a sewer hose holder but our hose with attachments didn't fit, so we repurposed it.
What is that electric tester? It looks like a great idea. What is it called and where would I purchase one?
RV Surge protector on Amazon
Hi,
It looks like you changed out your cargo locks...? Can you pls discuss? Thx!
Hey Beth, we haven't changed them out. Do yours look different?
Hi Chris, I noticed that you have the Reese sway bar, Is this necessary?
We would just rather be safe than sorry.
How much does the trailer weigh when you roll out ?
Was wondering the same thing!
3900 lbs fully loaded

Are the leveling blocks strong enough to use under the bottle jack to raise the LGM to change a tire?
I have only had to use them under the jack once, but was not a problem.

I was wondering your height. I am 5 foot 11 inches. Would I be able to stand in the LGM?
i'm 5"11 and I fit fine. I do not fit in a Little Guy Mini Max!!
I am 6 ft and can stand without a problem even under the A/C and in the shower
How much does all this stuff in your garage weigh?
Never weighed it all, but estimate no more than 150 lbs. The ladder, jack, and grill weigh the most.
I didn't see a EMS or surge protector?

What is the dimensions of your largest storage container ?
Width 24.14in x height 7.8 in x depth 16.8. This is the hefty 40 gallon with green lid.
