If the anal sacs are left untreated, your dog can develop a serious infection, called Anal Gland Abscess.
An anal gland abscess is a painful infection of the anal glands. During an infection, pus builds up in the sac. The infection prevents the foul-smelling anal gland fluid from leaving the sac. The anal gland swells with the fluids and may even burst.
This serious infection could lead to complicated surgery to remove the anal glands.

OMG, 0:54 is extremely hard to watch. Poor dog, that groomer is being way too aggressive. I would fire him on the spot, he's a total liability to the company.
