Once again, saved for re-watch. Would love to see a vid about pitch manipulation (scoops, dives) and vibrato tweaking!

I have very recently started to work with this breakthrough program and I find your detailed editing stuff very useful. I'd already started with the approach, but got extra hints and tips. Thanks!

Great video. I was a fan of the aspirated separated output immediately when it came out in Synth V, the perception of those t, d, s always changes, not only with compressor and desser on the soloed vocal track, but also with equalizer, vocal reverb, in the context of the mix, also depending on master comp and limiter. Being in control of that until the song is completed is a fantastic power, I really wish I had it with real vocals!
(we might ask Dreamtonics to release a VST plugin that does exactly that..😉)

Thanks! I do this sometimes with real vocals too... Spectralayers Pro by Steinberg. It has a unique feature of being able to split any sound into tone-transient-noise layers. It's 100% null accurate. I merge the transient and noise layers which is essentially the "aspiration" - not as clean as Synth V, but is good enough to edit or process sibilance and other vocal clicks.

Hi! I am a total fan of your Synth V videos and I would consider myself a “control freak”. Have to have that just right sound!
I enjoyed the tutorial and had no idea that you could export the aspirations track. But as it neared the end I thought, once you add the music can you hear any of these improvements?
Thanks for the detailed and exceptional guidance for editing in Synth V. I’ll see you soon!

Thanks! Yes, I created the "vocal chain" in the mix and it exaggerated the "D, T and S" significantly. I find it much more successful to pull down the offending sibilance before the vocal chain as it's easier to hear when it's "too much".
