Her precious voice still was not ready to play Passion and the Opera. Now it is easy for her to sing. He brought music to the highest standard of perfection.
Her technique wasn't very good back then, she used to darken her voice too much with a low larynx, wich is an usual technique in Opera but when overdone it creates tension and restrain your voice, so it's pretty evident in live performances from this era that she didn't sound very natural and had trouble hitting higher notes with consistency. Tarja started to take classical singing classes not so long before this so she was still learning at the time as opera takes so much time to master, she is still training to this day and her technique is different now, her classical singing improved drastically, some people don't like the way she sings now cause it sound's different but her technique is a lot healthier and she sings with a lot more ease so is easy peasy for her now.
I think she already sings incredibly in this video. Also, I appreciate that she knows what she can & can't do & that she doesn't try, well-knowing she'd fail & that she doesn't lipsync, either. I love seeing how effortlessly she hits these notes by now :))
@@filosofoneysarrandoanitta341They aren’t classical singers. That is a no no for classical singing. Especially, doing it nightly. Singers usually lip sync the last notes on Phantom because it’s dangerous to sing those notes every night.
Aha, que fome que no este Passion and the opera completa, que lastima. Aun asi, que bien se escucha su voz y la banda en esa epoca, tomando en cuenta la calidad de la camara con que los grabaron.
Quizas para esa epoca se le hacía muy difícil cantar a Tarja esas partes en vivo, ya que ella aún era una estudiante de canto lírico. Pero ahora ella las canta sin problema.🤘🏻😊
@@itboom No kidding! I just watched one of the newer nightwish videos, with Floor from around 2020. I don't typically watch the new nightwish very much at all. So, I hadn't really seen much of him since 2005. Anyway, I was rather shocked at how he has appeared to age so much. toumas as well. What's odd though I've seen recent videos of Marko and he's looking quite good these days. That's a bit surprising because Marko was always a bit older. I do recall hearing a few years back that Marko had made some big changes in his life. Anyway, it looks like the changes he made are agreeing with him.
