Just think, if the singer of one of his first bands hadn't gotten sick and he hadn't taken up lead vocals that night, we could have been deprived of JLT's voice all these years. Beautiful fate!

No one can compete with Gillan.Even though I am Blackmore , not a Gillan fan.Joe is a good singer , but pretends to be greater than he truly is. Maybe he'd better fit pop genre.Love " King of dreams" , the riff is a killer , any singer with a nice voice would deliver.
He sang many heavy tracks, I dont know why people always want to marginalise his range.

He is delusional. He was never ever a house hold name. He was good in Rainbow but terrible for Deep Purple. Only thing he has in common with purple is that he and Ritchie both wear bad wigs.
Delusional about what. He was never supposed to be in DP. History clearly shows that. He is where he’s supposed to be. He does what he does best. Is he the best? He doesn’t claim to be. but he does have a place in rock and roll history.
Again with the wigs.... Boring, Dude... Start seeing life for what it really is... Grow the F up!!! JLT is such a beautiful Soul!!!
