I received an order of Cuccio polishes last week! I got their glossy top coat which i've used before, their base coat which i've never used before so i'm excited for that, Gaia, and a pretty silver color called Hong Kong Harbor. I'm so excited to try them!

I love Gaia so much!!! I do agree that it should be in a summer collection😹 - I personally think that this would be the perfect colour for watermelon nail art!
That gold shimmer is my favorite. I love a shimmery sheer polish. I like one, maybe two coats. You can still see your nail; it's just extra special. And I want so badly to like that green...but I don't think I could wear it for more than a day. 😜
My first holo polish was also Layla, but I bought them online because I live in Finland. I don't remember which store it was though. I still have those two bottles, but I don't like them because they are so shear. I totally understand you driving that far from them. I travel by buss across town to a craft store to buy patterned paper and I need to change busses on the way. It takes more than an hour to get there and another back.

My nails are just a little longer than yours at the moment. I moved in August and filed them really short so I could move without worrying about breaking any. Still had 3 break so I filed them all to the same length and I've been growing them back out ever scine. I normally always do 3-4 coats. Especially when my nails get really long. I normally keep them pretty long.

I’m curious what you do to cope with the storage space of your polish collection, it feels like you have an entire collection to review every other week! Those ‘behind the scene’ types of videos are super interesting to me!
Regarding those 2 salmon-y colors. If you look into seasonal color analysis (that there are certain colors that look best on people based on complexion, hair & eye color, etc.), those two shades are the kind of pinks that are included in the color palettes recommended for "autumn" complexions. I wonder if the Cuccio people were thinking of that when they included these.

I just got the Cuccio base coat and the Cuccio high shine topcoat today! The base coat is gooey and kind of sticky - I don’t like it because it wasn’t smooth on my nail. The top coat is so pretty though! I have it on over China Glaze Vest Friends and it looks great!

I'm really loving your story time fun facts that you've been adding to your videos here and there Kelli. 😍😃 A little known fun fact is that almost 20 years ago, an indie brand called Ozotic created and sold the world's first multichrome nail polish and the first linear holo polish for general use (most people don't recognize that name anymore). Formulas have definitely improved a lot since then, but I've always enjoyed that fun fact. After more than a decade, Ozotic eventually changed their name to Picture Polish.

I think they were going for the Pantone fall/winter 2019 colors with Gia and the salmon color. Gia reminds me of fruit punch which is one of the Pantone colors 🤷. I agree they are more like summer colors.
I don't wear seasonal polishes, I just wear what grabs my fancy on the day. Saying that, I'm wearing Zoya Giada right now! This collection has some pretty colours, but those glitters are duff. What is that gorgeous pink you're wearing? It's lush!

I think Gaia must be included with the intention of favoring those whose fall weather is still actually quite warm, like in the US south. Or maybe just as a bright pop of color in the color story of this collection. Either way, it's gorgeous, and I may have to break my No-Buy for it!!!!! :O

I really liked how Rolling Stone looked when you put on the 3rd coat, but I'm not down for a 3-4 coat polish. All kinds of no. Kelly - your comments about the "topper" in this collection spurred a question. I would like to see recommendations from you on favorite toppers that are just that....sheer topper that add a dimension to a solid cream underneath without obscuring the cream color. One that comes to mind for me is "Baby's Breath" by Colores de Carol which I love but has become too thick to use which is a disappointment. Do you have any suggestions for me?
Can you make a review on the gel polish ‘Molly Lac’? 🙏🏻😬😌 That would be SO awesome, specially the magnetic polish, the other reviews on the polishes isn’t very good, and i can’t find any at all on the magnetic polish 😳

Oh man haha yeah they were so sheer! I remember needing four coats and then finding that it was barely holographic!
