Very nice, Robert. I just watched the inaugural Lumo train video and then this old steamer pulling a train and accompanied by some classic cars. I think that makes a good day, although I didn’t get a ride on either train.
They are indeed Charles, they have done sterling work over the years, and were also the last steam locos operated by British Railways, when they carried a Blue livery and white insignia.
Excellent video Bob. Nice to see some old vehicles. Great shots of the loco. Liked the angle of the arrival at Devils Bridge. Hope you had a lovely day. Best wishes C&A
Thanks both, it was the last place I thought I'd go to when I saw the weather this morning. We went at Di's request, and glad we did, it was a lovely run when the rain stopped. Best wishes...Bob
An enjoyable & rewarding trip out for you & Di Bob. A nice shot of No8's arrival at DB and the cars where a nice bonus.... It was motorcycles when we were there in 2018. I don't know which variant it was but I always aspired to owning one of those Rover P4's!!! Best Wishes, Brian.
Thanks Bri, Di just asked to go there when we got up on Friday, the weather was not good` when we started out, but improved during the day. My Brother owned two of those Rovers, and I drove one of his to a show in Bridgend...They were affectionately known as the poor man's Rolls Royce..Best wishes...Bob.
Lovely video Bob a super line. No.8 sound brilliant! Thanks also for your kind comments on my GWSR video uploaded earlier. I couldn't reply to you via that, as I took the video down to make some alterations & uploaded again! thanks, Geraint
When we go up to Aber for a run Ger, we usually get there in time for the 14.00 departure to Devil's Bridge, and it's always interesting to see which loco's on duty. Thanks for watching...Bob
I say this every year you put a video of the V of R that I will visit it again next year...I promise it will happen in 2022 lol! ..I noticed the raised platform at Devils Bridge were they there last year Bob?..Thanks for sharing this excellent video......Best wishes Chris
You must keep an eye on things Chris, they have a Garret loco from the Welsh Highland line on trial, so that will be a great sight to see...Best wishes...Bob
Wonderful footage of a fantastically scenic railway. An absolute joy to watch Bob.
Thanks David...The cheque's in the Post!
Very nice Bob, real bonus seeing the cars on display.
Thanks Austin, /being able to capture the car and the locomotive was a bonus.

An excellent video from a super railway Robert. Loved the vintage cars too.
Thanks Allan, the vintage cars were an added bonus, and they were in and out after having refreshments at the station.

Thanks Bob for another great coverage of what you do best. Great little engine too, sounds good.
Thanks Wayne, these small engines have worked this heavily gradient line without a break since they were introduced in 1923.

Well done Di, and you didn't object 😉. Yes, that's right about the P4 so I must have been poorer than I thought!!

Excellent video Bob. No. 8 doesn’t appear to be carrying the name ‘Llwewlyn’. Have they stopped using the original names on the V of R? Regards, Dave.
They keep changing the liveries on 7,8 and 9 Dave, and removing the name plates appear to be part of that,....Regards...Bob
Hi Bob, Very good ,did this in the days of slides.....Dave
It's a beautiful line to visit Dave, and although a fair way from us, it's a run we enjoy every few months...Bob
