It was in Denton, Texas at University of North Texas that Patti LaBelle was being honored at an event. Angie Fisher came out during sound check and I was blown away at her voice. She was so on fire 🔥 when the event started that Patti LaBelle came out to see who it was. They had an impromptu mini concert and I never forgot that.
