How to Turn a Regular Factory into a Smart Factory | Joachim Hensch | TEDxDEU

Mr. Hensch is talking about his very first career steps as a tailor and how he took this haute couture "maker" knowledge to transform for current times with all its technical abilities and also to his current position and the management of 3700 people in one place with an abundance of information and endless activities at the same time. As a consequence, creating a digital Twin to better predict the future and to proactively manage the factory is an important factor for future success.
And this is not linked to famous places like Silicon Valley, but can be done today and everywhere from everyone. So did he and started his journey in 2015. Nowadays, AI initiatives helps to manage the digital factory in advance of the physical one.

Achieving bespoke at factory volumes. Factory production is all about standardized output of the price of it is somewhere around generally half of the tailor made product the customer pay for.
