This MVC is really impressive. Not even showing up into the gameplay but still winning the award. Happy to see resplendent angel back in the game and featured by the chill Master himself.

I drew a bunch of Resplendent Angels from the preorder but I found this deck really hard to pilot in live Standard even in play queue. I got matched against a lot of black decks with early removal or enchantments with ossification. It's tough to be a creature deck out there, but lifegain is really fun when it gets going.
Removal dominates MTG because there are so many overpowered cards, which this deck lacks. I just went 4-4 in platinum with this deck and felt lucky to get that. The specialized lands are vital to fuel 'Archangel of Wrath' which was the MVC for me today. The Explorer format decks that include 'Resplendent Angel' are very potent.
GGs! (14:27) It's cool to see angels potentially making a return to standard. I remember when I started playing Arena a lot [[Righteous Valkyrie]] was giving me headaches in standard all the time haha
The original Resplendent not only has better art, but one of the best ETB animations in the game. It’s very gracious. The new art is alright, but it just doesn’t compare.
You did pretty well with this deck in the video but I don't know how seriously we can take it as an indication of the deck's power since your opponents were mainly messing around and didn't show much removal.
here is a deck i have been working on 4 blessed defiance (this one drop on resplendent will trigger the 4/4 angel) 4 lunarch veteran 4 sanctify 4 voice of the blessed 4 resplendent angel 3 the huntsmans redemption 3 roaming throne 3 boon-bringer valkyrie 3 danitha, benalias hope 3 virtue of loyalty
Just lost 4/4 against mono red. They begin every time and was close always, but still too slow start... This deck isn´t too good for climbing rank as platinum and above is like 30 % mono red. Also removal decks hurt as you have no way to protect /counter.
i hate the new artwork for RA, the old artwork is so much nicer looking(even the token looks better) and you also dont get the sweet animation when you play her with the new 1. i love that they reprinted her but they did her dirty on the new art. RA is the GOAT of my historic angel deck so many times i finish turn 3 on 35+ hp

The new one has a borderless version though.
Also, if you open packs then new version will be duplicate protected.
