That's a really nice place, I love those old materials which have so much more character than the new stuff. In my house renovation I try to keep as many of the reusable bits of wood, tiles, bricks etc. And I try to keep or reinstate the original details in the house which were hidden behind that ugly 1970s and 1980s decoration work, or even destroyed completely. But this sort of companies enable you to find that matching pair of en suite doors or door handles, or the old roof tiles you need to repair broken ones without having to resort to new and often inferior materials as you said.
Had most of the materials for my extension from these guys. Definitely worth a look if you need to match in old bricks or tiles. So yeah that’s the reason I would say for using reclaimed building materials and not the buzz topic in being sustainable. Nice to see the processes they use. Thanks for the upload even though this is just an ad for Cawarden 👍
Brilliant yard, nice to see great materials being reused. The only thing which surprises me is finishing the wood products. There are so many finishes if you wax the doors for instance means you can’t paint if matching into existing property. Just a thought 🤔 Great video chaps and dedicated team at the years 👍🏻
