If i were to guess, the reason why bonnie jumpscares but doesn't kill is to encourage players to be more cautious while playing the office, because in the old story mode there was an exploit where people would intentionally break their cameras to counter foxy, and since bonnie doesn't have a jumpscare aside from the camera jumpscare, this means it's just getting rid of an animatronic at the cost of not being able to use cameras, which wasn't really that big of a cost. So this new version of bonnie would, probably be able to kill the player in 2 or 3 hits, hypothetically. Alternatively, to make it more risky, maybe they made bonnie able to kill the player in 1 hit if he's positioned in a camera that has been taken out or would 1 hit the player if more than 1 camera is taken out, they could just make foxy be able to spawn in rooms without cameras
Original Sound Effect was better in my opinion. I honestly hope the Creator makes the option to play with the ORIGINAL Sound Effects. Also, I like the SLAP better from Story Mode as well. The Punch is Great in REBORN when Bonnie catches you in that maze of a Basement.
