Love the videos P, My trade involves the Lakers in an attempt to get some much needed size and athleticism injected into the team. It involves LAL acquires: Cody Martin & Nick Richards CHA acquires: Jalen Hood-Schifino, Gabe Vincent, 2 or 3 2nd round picks (depending on how you view Richards, I could see a top 20 protected 1st being thrown in but that’s debatable). The rationale for LAL: They need athletes. Plain and simple. This current team is slow footed, non-athletic, and consistently at a disadvantage in transition compared to most teams in the league. They need dudes that are going to do the dirty work, beat guys to the spot for a charge, stop a fast break, etc and I believe that Cody Martin can make an impact like that on the Lakers. He isn’t a glamorous name and because of that, he could come at a reasonably low price. He’s got motor and a knack for making intangible plays. Nick Richards is one of the more seamless fits I could see the Lakers getting at the center spot. He’s got motor like Martin but he’s also a legit 6’10 - 6’11 at 240+ lbs that rebounds well, blocks shots and is just a solid center that can play next to or without AD on the court. His presence on the defensive end can also take some of the responsibility off of AD’s shoulders because right now, the Lakers defense is overtaxing on AD. If he isn’t contesting a shot, then it’s a layup line. If he is making a play on the ball, the surrounding defenders aren’t making that extra effort/rotation to secure the board or help the helper. The rationale for CHA: they get to take a flier on JHS who showed a lot of promise coming out of Indiana in 2023 and was just put in a horrible situation to develop his skills. He was drafted to a team that knew they wouldn’t have the proper time to develop him and it showed out on the court. I still think he has some upside in this league as a potentially high level backup to starting level guard just based on his size at the PG position and clever plays he sometimes pulls off. Especially with a new culture being set in stone by Charles Lee, I believe that he can get the most out of JHS (just look at how Isaiah Wong is playing right now!) Gabe Vincent is strictly in this deal for salary matching purposes. He hasn’t lived up to his 11M salary, but he’s shown some flashes of his Heat days, especially in the past few weeks. But he simply hasn’t cut it for a Lakers team that is already small and under athletic. Charlotte simply eats his remaining contract and gets a few seconds out of it and potentially a protected first at the cost of some role players. Let me know what you think about this trade P! I tried not to be too biased towards the Lakers since I’m a fan but I think these are the kind of trades that will realistically be available to them and they should consider. The league has definitely been trending towards depth nowadays!
Thanks for all the hard work on these videos, really enjoying the content. Now, as a Pistons fan and a Chicago resident familiar w Zach (and how well he’s been playing this season), I genuinely don’t want to touch that Lavine deal w a 10 foot pole. A few reasons: - Isaiah Stewart is easily the best defensive player on that roster (esp since Thompson’s exit and return). with that, the only reason the pistons have the wins, and ANY kind of positive momentum this season has been because of their defense. - Jalen Duren is not the paint defender he was projected to be (yet, hopefully), and has caught a nasty case of foul trouble. Stew is a backup that I trust to fill in those gaps. Stewart also has years on his deal, which makes me personally feel no rush to move him (regardless of the interest he’s garnered from contenders). - Maybe a homer take, i understand, but if stew is being traded in the future, i’d throw up if it were this one. not only does the trade bring the perimeter defense down like concrete on my ankles, the paint defense now has no answers to ball dominant bigs or seasoned slashers. if JD is in foul trouble, we have paul reed for the rest of the game? I like bball paul, but this does not inspire confidence for winning, nor youth development IMO. and one injury to either of them and we’re digging desperately into reserves like last season. - This trade to me screams ‘lets win more now’. this might be a unique perspective among pistons fans, but my expectations don’t reside in the win column this season. this may sound silly, but you cant expect nor reasonably shoot for a 20 win jump from a team who didnt sniff 20 wins last season, AND be maximizing the value of your young talent at the same time. This team is fun to watch, they are competitive in games, and have chances to win each of the close ones. I dont think a lot of non pistons fans understand the emotional jump that is for this fan base. - P, to your point about scoring and shooting being different things, i absolutely agree. i just don’t think after only 25 games of cade’s (all-star caliber) first season with reasonable spacing around him, there needs to be any rush to add thing. Also agree completely that he would compliment cade. i just dont think the pistons NEED this. even with the offensive compliments, it puts more pressure on cade and ivey defensively, which i think they can handle, but it outweighs the offensive impact, for me. This team, the fan base, and the media is shell shocked from a disastrous season of Monty Williams and Troy Weaver. I think Bickerstaff needs time with this young group to build upon the defensive identity that they are developing. I also think Trajan Langdon has already proved himself more than worthy for this job based on the offseason alone. I don’t see a rush, esp if the pressure to make this move is mostly coming from the outside. I feel like a lot of the talk about this trade is bc it’s the ONLY one that makes sense for Chicago. What gives me hope in my anti-Lavine-trade brain, is TL’s affinity for long do-it-all wings ie. Trey Murphy, Herb Jones, Brandon Ingram.
I never see you all link Cam Johnson to GS. Watch the pods and your and Kenny’s solo channels and hear you all mention the warriors need size. For my trade… Warriors get: -Cameron Johnson (Necessary size with elite shooting *will thrive in system*) -DFS (Outside shooting with size) Magic get: -Dennis Schroder (Guard help to make up for injuries/Connection with the Wagner Brothers from Olympics) Nets get: -Kuminga (Youth to develop with Thomas *doubt he’ll get the contract he’s demanding*) -Jett Howard (Cam Johnson replacement/Gets to play for dad on nets coaching staff) -Magic Salary (Cole Anthony *NY native*) -Warriors Salary (Looney/Melton/Payton II) -‘25 FRP via Denver (ORL) *top 5 protected* -‘26 FRP (GS) -‘28 FRP (GS)
Mavericks receive: Herb Jones Mo Wagner 2027 2nd Rd from Pelicans Pelicans receive: Daniel Gafford Olivier-Maxence Prosper 2025 1st from Magic Magic receive: Klay Thompson
@ Orlando is bottom 4th in 3 pointers made and KCP is having the worst shooting year of his career is my train of thought. But Pelicans admittedly wouldn’t do this at all. I think they could get a much better offer for Herb. Just a fun idea to throw out though with Herb ending up on the Mavs.
Honestly as a Heat fan if we're adding picks to that deal for Fox it wouldn't be to keep Jaime, it would be to keep Kel'el because of his crazy potential alongside Bam. All depends on how desperate the Kings are I guess, since obviously the value the Kings are receiving isn't equivalent to their 1a guy.
Not a trade, but P I would like to see a video about Randle. Like you mentioned he is a talented player, but he does have his flaws. Defensively he has gaps, ball dominant, and his attitude have created moments around the league that other GMs will note. So I would be interested in a video from you about where do you think he could go that would want and pay him what he feels he’s worth Edit: A video about a group of players that are hitting the market soon, but realistically they may not get what they feel they deserve might be a good way to get a video about Randle but still talk about anyone else you feel fits a similar geeling
Trade ideas: I tried my best to avoid the Lakers altogether as its more than overplayed across the media landscape and I can only do so many DFS and BI trades to them. Rockets consolidate and Pelicans take a step back Rockets get: Herb Jones Pelicans get: Jabari Smith Jr Cam Whitmore Rockets 2025 pick (they own the swap rights with the nets against the Suns so essentially gambling they do better and make the playoffs where the Suns could fall in the play in) Reasoning: Rockets already are a formidable defence, trading away Jabari gives Tari a pathway to start and a potentially lineup of FVV, Green, Herb, Tari, Sengun. This allows more minutes for Amen and Reed off the bench. Potential lineups with all 3 of tari herb and amen sounds terrifying and Herb has shown to be a consistent 3pt threat. The Rockets are due for 2 more 1st round picks this year and with an already stacked young core another young player to develop would be difficult. Pelicans season has been a disaster. The Zion piece seems unmovable and BI trade or FA walk inevitable. Jabari would allow the team to run some interesting lineups with him and Zion at the PF/C and he has shown potential to be a valuable floor spacing big. Whitmore is intriguing enough to be in this as a sweetener rather than excessive 1st round picks. Im sure this will upset Pelicans fans as Herb is hugely valuable but playing the market with him could return a haul especially on the incredible value of contract he is on. Magic finally add some shooting at no detriment to their team dynamic Magic get: Cam Johnson Nets gets: Cole Anthony Jett Howard Magic 2026 lottery protected Reasoning: Magic need shooting, the fit on offense makes sense automatically. This trade gives them the shooting without compromising their defensive philosophy and size that an Anfernee Simons or other guard might. Cole Anthony has been a disaster and that contract looks awful, for 10m more they turn themselves (given Paolo and Franz health) immediate contenders. Nets need to get worse and selling high on Cam does that. Cole Anthony may be a negative asset coming back but Jett Howard is intriguing and unproven enough of a recent pick to be interested in. I went for a 2026 protected pick as the Nets already own 4 potential first rounders this draft. Pistons add some offense and ease the burden on Cade and Clippers add new Center Pistons get: Anfernee Simons Clippers get: Robert Williams Blazers get: THJ PJ Tucker Pistons 2027 top 7 protected Clippers 2030 & 2031 second rnd picks Reasoning: Pistons add a guard who can both create and play off ball around Cade. This should hopefully ease the burden on Cade to constantly have the ball and alleviate some of those turnovers. Simons can play as guard next to both Ivey and Cade thanks to his shooting and will add spacing to a team hoping to play Ausar and Holland more. The Blazers need to offload a center, Cling Kong is too good to be getting less than 20mins and Ayton is an unmovable contract at this point. Timelord has played and looked serviceable, the doubts will always remain over his health so it may never be possible to maximise his value. As for Simons, they need to pick a direction and go all in on Scoot. He is on a good contract for 2 more years and as it runs down so will his value. The Clippers for next to nothing get a big to backup Zubac. PJ doesn’t play and 2 future seconds is a low price for a potentially terrifying defensive trio of Rob, Dunn and DJJ. Pending health of course, otherwise hes some good company for Kawhi on the rehab table.
Would love herb on the rockets & I could see Bari bring moved. Bari provides size n rebounding but Rockets seem to have rebounding in abundance. A defense with Herb, Amen, & Tari is a scary sight. Good trade
@ appreciate the feedback. Yeah i like the idea of the Rockets doing nothing and staying course really, only thought of them when i chose the Pels to be sellers and Herb would compliment Amen and their team so so well. if they could offer a good package for him he would only add to the team. Especially if they fear what Bari may ask for extension wise.
Whoa Jabari smith jr AND Cam Whitmore just for Herb jones. Herb is a dawg don’t get me wrong but you valuing him way too high. Jabari has crazy potential especially defensively. He could end up better than Herb in the long run and that’s not even mentioning Cam whitmores potential
@ my rationale also factors in contracts. Do the rockets want to commit 100-120m of cap space to Bari Green and Sengun. Herb gives them way more flexibility in that respect. Looking back I would take away the pick or cam, one or the other. If Ime won’t play him then I’d send him while his value is higher and keep the pick. I’d like to say I do really like Bari but question if it will ever work out in Houston and quite wanna see him in a new environment.
Trade idea: Orlando magic receive Jordan Poole and a 2nd pick for Cole, Caleb, and Two first round picks. As a magic fan I absolutely love Cole and Caleb but the reality is we need a player right now that can hold themselves offensively and JP does that. Off and on JP can give you a bucket he just needs confidence and to take less shots so who else but to put with 2 6’10 forwards who can easily get him wide open shots and if he isn’t hitting he still holds up on the defensive end
I would love to see a Team Germany reunion on the Magic with Orlando trading for Dennis: Nets get: Cole Anthony + Denver protected 2025 pick Magic: Dennis Schröder (Solid Point guard mentoring Jalen Suggs and coming off the bench with a familiarity with the Wagner Bros) Much love from Belgium! Watch out for Toumani and Ajay Mitchell!
I feel like Sac dumping huerter for a Clint Capella in a three team deal from Atlanta (they are willing to trade him) could fix a lot of holes and revert sabonis to a four and have a superior rim protection
Couple of trade ideas: Trade #1: LAL receives: Cam Johnson DFS Donte DiVincenzo MIN receives: Gabe Vincent 2029 Unprotected 1st (LAL) 2025 2nd (LAL) 2030 2nd (LAL) BKN receives: D'Angelo Russell Jarred Vanderbilt Jalen Hood-Schifino Max Christie 2031 1st Unprotected (LAL) Lakers go all in getting some permitter spacing + wing defense from DFS and Donte. Brooklyn gets young talent in JHS and Max Christie + a valuable pick. Timberwolves get some draft capital for future moves since they traded away so many picks (especially after the Rob Dillingham trade). Donte hasn't been amazing for the wolves and that unprotected pick from the lakers would be enough to pry him away.
Trade #2: Nuggets receive: De'Andre Hunter Duncan Robinson Larry Nance Jr. Hawks Receive: Michael Porter Jr. Zeke Nnaji Heat Receive: Dario Saric David Roddy Vlatko Cancar Jalen Pickett 2025 2nd via MIN, 2026 2nd via MEM Nuggets get more rotation pieces that include shooting, off the dribble play, and a backup center. Hawks get a scorer that can grow next to Trae and JJ. Heat get off the Duncan Robinsons contract and get a couple 2nds to make further moves with or make heat type picks with.
aye p i’ve been seeing the pelicans trying to sell high on herb the pacers should go get him and cam johnson to grizzlies some trades that i think will elevate these teams to
Couple trade ideas, idk if any team would actually pull the trigger Bulls & Magic run it back Magic receive Vuc and Coby Bulls receive Cole, Wendell, Jett, 2025 frp Bulls get some young talent and a pick, get off of Vuc Magic get a legit floor spacing center and a younger scoring guard. Suggs, Coby, Franz, Paolo, Vuc could be scary in East Less realistic Suns and Nuggets Nuggets receive Book, Tyus, Okogie, O’Neal Suns receive mpj, Murray, Tyson Nuggets get a big time duo in book and Jokic and gives them more backcourt consistency Tyus, Book, Braun, Gordon, Jokic Suns lineup Murray, Beal, Mpj, Kd, Nurkic, not much defense but could be interesting Lots of money and other factors go into this likely not going through 2K trade Lauri, Sexton get to Houston Green, Cam +others/picks to Utah Utah gets young, potential building blocks Houston gets win now guys Fred, Amen, Lauri, Jabari, Alp With Tari, Sexton, Brooks, Reed, Adams off the bench
Warriors ideas: GSW: Cam Johnson Keon Ellis Dennis Schroder Kings: Lindy Waters III 2026 2nd via ATL 2028 2nd via ATL Nets: De’Anthony Melton Moses Moody Brandin Podziemski Gary Payton II 2027 1st rd pick (top 8 protected) Or GSW: Coby White Robert Williams III Bulls: Moses Moody Brandin Podziemski Gui Santos 2028 1st rd pick Trail Blazers: De’Anthony Melton 2026 2nd rd pick via ATL Or GSW: Myles Turner Andrew Nembhard Pacers: Brandin Podziemski Vucevic Trayce Jackson Davis 2027 1st rd pick via GSW Bulls: De’Anthony Melton Jarace Walker 2026 2nd via ATL Or GSW: Herb Jones Jeremiah Robson-Earl Bulls: Jordan Hawkins De’Anthony Melton Gui Santos Pelicans: Nicola Vucevic 2028 1st rd via GSW
Trade Idea: The Magic go all in and trade for De'Aaron Fox Magic Receive: De'Aaron Fox and Jordan McLaughlin Kings Receive: Cole Anthony, Gary Harris, Jett Howard, and Cory Joseph, as well as Denver's 2025 first (top 5 protected), and 2027 first round pick from Orlando (unprotected) Reason this trade makes sense: The Orlando Magic are a young team on the rise looking to build on the success they achieved last season, and have the assets as well as the picks to make a big splash during this years trade deadline. Fox gives the magic an elite primary ball handler and facilitator that the team hasn't had since they've drafted Paolo and Franz. The Magic are also able to keep their defensive identity intact while completing this trade, and they still have additional capital to address other potential needs (shooting). The Kings, on the other hand, are a team that appears to have peaked a few years ago with their first round exit against the Warriors, and have exhausted just about every option they could to make the core of Fox and Sabonis work. The Derozan signing this free agency hasn't led to the success the front office envisioned, and should look to capitalize on the assets they have now instead of waiting until it's too late. This trade would be the start of a potential rebuild as they are able to acquire young talent in Cole Anthony and Jett Howard, as well as draft capital for the future, in addition to other capital they would gain from trading other valuable players like Derozan, Malik Monk, and Sabonis.
wsp p here‘s my trade idea around the magic getting more 3-point volume: The Magic get: Jordan Poole Richaun Holmes The Wizards get: KCP Cole Anthony Goga Bitadze (or WC jr) Jett Howard 2025 first rounder 2026 secound rounder The Magic would get another shot creater besides Franz Wagner and Paolo Banchero who could help with their lack of 3 Point shooting. Poole is having a good season and could blossom on a team like Orlando because of their defense. He also has playoff experience and played on a winning franchise. The Wizards could open up more minutes for their young guys. They can put the ball in Bilals hands and build more around him. You can also play Bub as a true PG and develop his playmaking. They take a chance on Jett Howard who needs more minutes as a raw prospect. They would probably trade kcp to a third team in the off-season. They‘ll also get a late first rounder for jp and second rounder next year.
@@NahanooThe magic give up basically nothing of value to them besides kcp. they have to trade one of their centers because goga is way too good to be a third string center. Jett Howard won‘t crack the rotation and needs playing time to evolve.
as a Kings fan, love you P but what do i really gain from that trade with Miami? Gobert got multiple firsts, you gotta think Fox would at least get something more than what the BR article said.
Problem is fox already turned down a contract extension and is a free agent next year so if he really wants to can sign in Miami next year after they trade Jimmy away
Trade Ideas: Magic: De’Aaron Fox Kings: Jalen Suggs Cole Anthony Wendell Carter Jr 2025 1st via DEN 2026 1st via PHX or WAS Or Kings: Stephon Castle Tre Jones Keldon Johnson 2028 1st via Boston 2031 1st swap rights SAC Spurs: De’Aaron Fox Colby Jones
Pistons get: Jarace Walker and Obi Toppin Pacers get: Jalen Duren and Dorian Finney-Smith Nets get: Tim Hardaway Jr. and three 2RP's (1 from DET, and 2 from IND)
ONLY TRADE IDEAS THAT WILL SAVE THE LAKERS: Lakers: Miles Bridges, Nick Richardson Hornets: Dlo, Gabe, JHS, 2029 and 2031 firsts or Lakers: Vuc and Ayo Bulls: Dlo, gabe, 2029 first and either 2031 first or two seconds or Lakers: Cam Johnson and Sharpe Nets: Dlo, Gabe, JHS, 2029 and 2031 firsts or lastly Three teamer Lakers: Deadre Hunter and Valinciunis Wizards: Gabe and two seconds Hawks: Dlo, JHS, and one or two firsts, or maybe the hawks give one second rounder to the wizards. If it ain’t one of these trades I don’t want it and I wouldn’t be trading their future away unless they are at least getting back one solid young player. Love your vids and the podcast pier keep up the good work brotha
@ I don’t think any of these trades are delusional at all. all the teams are getting a first or two back and for the players that I mentioned, no one is offering more than two firsts and expiring contracts.
The Miami Heat trade Jimmy Butler to the Mavericks for Dante Exum, Jaden Hardy, Naji Marshall, Oliver-Maxence Prosper, and Brandon Williams and a 2030 NBA Draft 1st round pick. The Boston Celtics trade Sam Hauser, Drew Peterson, Luke Kornet, JD Davison, Xavier Tillman, Neemias Queta, Jaden Springer, Jordan Walsh, and Peyton Pritchard to the Bulls for Lonzo Ball, Coby White, and Josh Giddey. The OKC Thunder trade Lug Dort, Jaylin Williams, Alex Caruso, and Chet Holmgren to the Lakers for Rui Hachimura, Jaxson Hayes, D’Angelo Russell, and Cam Reddish. The Pelicans trade Zion Williamson, Jose Alvarado, Herbert Jones, and Daniel Theis to the Raptors for Chris Boucher, Ochai Agbaji, Bruce Brown, and Ja’Kobe Walter. as possible trade scenarios
Listen to this 3 team trade if Bron requests a trade Lakers get: Ingram Okoro Levert Strus Niang Pelicans get: Rui Vincent christee and a Cavs 31 top 8 protected Cavs get: LeBron Bronny Hayes JRE Lakers completely fix their depth shooting and defensive issues while getting a young 2nd star next to AD. Cavs get LeBron without giving up any of the core 4, locking in a top 2 starting lineup for the next 2 years. Pelicans get a few decent young players in Rui and Max while also getting a future first for ingram who is gonna walk in FA.
You might think Cavs are losing too much depth to this, however. They’d still have 6MOTY candidate Ty Jerome. Sam Merrill and Dean Wade who aren’t bad 7th and 8th men, both can shoot. Tyson and cpj are young guys who have shown some flashes and have potential to be good bench guys. And then Robinson earl and Jaxon Hayes as backup 4s and 5s. I think that bench is still serviceable behind an amazing starting 5.
how much do we think the heat really want for jimmy? with the public trade talk and one year deal I think it could come cheap. does MIA say no to this? GSW: Butler Love MIA: Wiggins Melton Anderson Podz 2025 FRP
My Trade Idea GSW: Cam Thomas and Nic Claxton BKN: Jonathan Kuminga, Brandin Podziemski, De'Anthony Melton, Kyle Anderson, 2026 1st round pick (Top 10 Protected) GSW finally gets a center that can protect the paint and rim run. Cam Thomas can be the number 2 option behind Steph. BKN can go into the tank for the 2025 draft. Kuminga and Podz can be a shot in the dark for them, but they're both young and have shown flashes. Melton and Anderson are just there to make the contracts match.
Trade for Nuggets: Nuggets receive: Jimmy Butler Alec Burks Heat receive: MPJ Zeke Peyton Watson 1 second round pick Nuggets add another star and heat would not have to give Jimmy his extension whilst also adding much needed shooting and young talent
Team like the Kings is why I think we should end the east and west and make the playoffs go by record. East teams coast all regular season, meanwhile the kings would be decent in that conference. I love the tradition but its gotten to the point where we are rewarding bad teams and punishing good teams. How are kings fans ever going to have hope being in the west meanwhile the bulls always are in contention for a playoff spot.
Kings get: Cameron Johnson (3 year deal, sure, but great shooter and someone that could come off their bench or start and provide that scoring boost they need) and Dayron Sharpe (a center that can back up Sabonis instead of Len, who they can also let walk or pay depending on how he plays for them). Nets get: Huerter (only 2 years left on his deal, could help develop younger players on roster with shooting) and Lyles (only 1 year left then that’s $8m free for Brooklyn), in addition to a selection of picks (i.e. 2026 first rounder and 2027 second rounder from SAC, or even a 2028 first rounder given the asking price for Cam Johnson).
Shiii if i was the wolves im doin tht trade 10/10 times 😂 bari aint tht far off from randle talent wise, way younger, and is a better floor spacer? Shiiii plus he feels like the typa player tht wld thrive ina different situation
They dealt with a lot of early injuries and just poor shooting in general which the law of averages says that Keegan and Hurrtwr both won’t continue to shoot 28% from 3. Giving up on the kings this early is kinda wild ngl
My trade: Lakers Receive: Cam Johnson Nets Receive: D’Angelo Russell, Jalen Hood-Schifino, and Christian Wood as salary filler (Also any draft capital you want to add is great, I’m not great at valuing picks) Same package to the Nets that the video brought up basically, but different players coming back. Lakers need more shooting. I believe they would love the idea of getting 2.5 years of Cam. A lot of us saw Cam and JJ talking on his podcast a couple years ago and it would be a beautiful match. The Nets get a young guard in Jalen Hood-Schifino which is the main piece of this trade. The Lakers used a 17th pick on him and have barely given him a chance. He needs a fresh start. D’Angelo Russell reunites with the Nets where he was an all star. If they don’t love him, he is a free agent and can walk at seasons end. Also fun that he reunites with Ben Simmons who he was teammates with in high school.
I would love to see a trade around the blazers and warriors centered around deandre ayton or jerami grant and jonathan kuminga. Give the warriors more star power and gives jonathan kuminga a much needed change of scenery.
The second apron has caused a more significant butterfly effect than people realize. In 5 years, we will see how much the landscape of NBA would have been different.
The spurs have never had a lamelo type player on their team and probably never will. (Istg if someone tries to compare lamelo to manu ima have a problem). Same reason they didn’t trade for trae young. Same reason the didn’t draft rob dillingham. Fox is way more of a spurs fit than lamelo. If the spurs are gonna make a splash, I would project it to be at SF or PF like an Ingram or markkanen, and then go to pg cuz castle has shown signs of “pg of the future”
Okc receives Austin Reaves Lakers receive Collin Sexton and Walker Kessler Jazz receive Gabe Vincent , Ousmane Dieng, Dillion jones,Utah 2024 1st via OKC Okc gets another guy who can pass, shoot, defend. He would help with the lineups without Shai and be their best p&r ball handler Lakers still have DLO and JHS to make another move and get younger and better defensively
Two trades for clippers Clippers get: Wiggins melton looney Podz and 26 1st Warriors get: kawhi Clippers get : cam Johnson Nets get: melton Tucker Kobe brown cam Christie and the warriors 1st Not sure any of the teams would do this. But I feel it works for all involved. Nets get two young players cap space and the first rounder, might need some more picks 2nds. Clippers get off kawhi take on Wiggins contract but add younger players. Warriors get legitimate two if kawhi is healthy, they keep kuminga green moody.
From a Pistons perspective, I don't think this Front Office has the same thoughts on Zach Lavine as the guy that was trying to save his job mid year doing too much. Lavine is a good player, but not who Pistons fans want
I don't like that lamelo trade for My Spurs, he doesnt fit the culture So i give u a other option. Vassel, tre Jones, branham a 2025 top 10 proyected 2027 Spurs un protected and 2027 Hawks For DeAron Fox and Kevin huerter
any trade gerting rid of lamelo doesn't make sense in the hornets perspective, a franchise with their history shouldn't get rid of their best talent. Having a potential top 3 pg outweigh random role players and potentially good draft picks. Might as well keep retooling current roster instead of selling it without giving it a proper chance.
@@keyvonwashington5670 if they were playing better I could see it. But if you continue to be at the bottom of the East prepare for him to want out. Have to know when to sell.
The thumbnail not showing is so annoying. Apologies y’all.

Love the videos P,
My trade involves the Lakers in an attempt to get some much needed size and athleticism injected into the team. It involves
LAL acquires: Cody Martin & Nick Richards
CHA acquires: Jalen Hood-Schifino, Gabe Vincent, 2 or 3 2nd round picks (depending on how you view Richards, I could see a top 20 protected 1st being thrown in but that’s debatable).
Especially with a new culture being set in stone by Charles Lee, I believe that he can get the most out of JHS (just look at how Isaiah Wong is playing right now!)
Gabe Vincent is strictly in this deal for salary matching purposes.
A few reasons:
- Isaiah Stewart is easily the best defensive player on that roster (esp since Thompson’s exit and return). with that, the only reason the pistons have the wins, and ANY kind of positive momentum this season has been because of their defense.
For my trade…
Warriors get:
-Cameron Johnson (Necessary size with elite shooting *will thrive in system*)
-DFS (Outside shooting with size)
Magic get:
-Dennis Schroder (Guard help to make up for injuries/Connection with the Wagner Brothers from Olympics)
Nets get:
-Kuminga (Youth to develop with Thomas *doubt he’ll get the contract he’s demanding*)
-Jett Howard (Cam Johnson replacement/Gets to play for dad on nets coaching staff)
-Magic Salary (Cole Anthony *NY native*)
-Warriors Salary (Looney/Melton/Payton II)
-‘25 FRP via Denver (ORL) *top 5 protected*
-‘26 FRP (GS)
-‘28 FRP (GS)
The warriors shouldnt give kuminga and 2 players and 2 first round picks tbh
Aye fwm P I know you see that shams article
Too much picks but good idea, still need size tho
@@Nahanoo yeaa indifferent on picks fr it’s so strange getting them mid season
You’re underrating Kuminga’s value (especially to a team like the nets) if you’re trading him + 2 picks
Mavericks receive:
Herb Jones
Mo Wagner
2027 2nd Rd from Pelicans
Pelicans receive:
Daniel Gafford
Olivier-Maxence Prosper
2025 1st from Magic
Magic receive:
Klay Thompson
Why would the pelicans or magic do this
@ Orlando is bottom 4th in 3 pointers made and KCP is having the worst shooting year of his career is my train of thought. But Pelicans admittedly wouldn’t do this at all. I think they could get a much better offer for Herb. Just a fun idea to throw out though with Herb ending up on the Mavs.
No way the Kings give up Fox if they don’t include Jacquez, he’s the only known commodity in that whole trade package.
Love all the content P
Honestly as a Heat fan if we're adding picks to that deal for Fox it wouldn't be to keep Jaime, it would be to keep Kel'el because of his crazy potential alongside Bam. All depends on how desperate the Kings are I guess, since obviously the value the Kings are receiving isn't equivalent to their 1a guy.

Not a trade, but P I would like to see a video about Randle. Like you mentioned he is a talented player, but he does have his flaws. Defensively he has gaps, ball dominant, and his attitude have created moments around the league that other GMs will note. So I would be interested in a video from you about where do you think he could go that would want and pay him what he feels he’s worth
Edit: A video about a group of players that are hitting the market soon, but realistically they may not get what they feel they deserve might be a good way to get a video about Randle but still talk about anyone else you feel fits a similar geeling
Appreciate you man
Trade for SAS:
Spurs get:
Brandon Ingram
Pelicans get:
Deandre Ayton
Duop Reath
their own 2027 2nd Round pick back
Blazers get:
Keldon Johnson
Zach Collins
2025 2nd Round pick (Bulls)
2027 1st Round pick (Hawks)
Trade ideas: I tried my best to avoid the Lakers altogether as its more than overplayed across the media landscape and I can only do so many DFS and BI trades to them.
Rockets consolidate and Pelicans take a step back
Rockets get:
Herb Jones
Pelicans get:
Jabari Smith Jr
Cam Whitmore
Rockets 2025 pick (they own the swap rights with the nets against the Suns so essentially gambling they do better and make the playoffs where the Suns could fall in the play in)
Reasoning:
Rockets already are a formidable defence, trading away Jabari gives Tari a pathway to start and a potentially lineup of FVV, Green, Herb, Tari, Sengun.
Magic finally add some shooting at no detriment to their team dynamic
Magic get:
Cam Johnson
Nets gets:
Cole Anthony
Jett Howard
Magic 2026 lottery protected
Reasoning:
Magic need shooting, the fit on offense makes sense automatically.
Pistons add some offense and ease the burden on Cade and Clippers add new Center
Pistons get:
Anfernee Simons
Clippers get:
Robert Williams
Blazers get:
THJ
PJ Tucker
Pistons 2027 top 7 protected
Clippers 2030 & 2031 second rnd picks
Reasoning:
Pistons add a guard who can both create and play off ball around Cade.
I would love to see a Team Germany reunion on the Magic with Orlando trading for Dennis:
Nets get: Cole Anthony + Denver protected 2025 pick
Magic: Dennis Schröder (Solid Point guard mentoring Jalen Suggs and coming off the bench with a familiarity with the Wagner Bros)
Much love from Belgium! Watch out for Toumani and Ajay Mitchell!
I feel like Sac dumping huerter for a Clint Capella in a three team deal from Atlanta (they are willing to trade him) could fix a lot of holes and revert sabonis to a four and have a superior rim protection
Couple of trade ideas:
Trade #1:
LAL receives:
Cam Johnson
DFS
Donte DiVincenzo
MIN receives:

2029 Unprotected 1st (LAL)
2025 2nd (LAL)
2030 2nd (LAL)
BKN receives:
D'Angelo Russell
Jarred Vanderbilt
Jalen Hood-Schifino
Max Christie
2031 1st Unprotected (LAL)
Lakers go all in getting some permitter spacing + wing defense from DFS and Donte.
Trade #2:
Nuggets receive:
De'Andre Hunter
Duncan Robinson

Hawks Receive:
Michael Porter Jr.
Zeke Nnaji
Heat Receive:
Dario Saric
David Roddy
Vlatko Cancar
Jalen Pickett
2025 2nd via MIN, 2026 2nd via MEM
Nuggets get more rotation pieces that include shooting, off the dribble play, and a backup center. Hawks get a scorer that can grow next to Trae and JJ. Heat get off the Duncan Robinsons contract and get a couple 2nds to make further moves with or make heat type picks with.
aye p i’ve been seeing the pelicans trying to sell high on herb the pacers should go get him and cam johnson to grizzlies some trades that i think will elevate these teams to
Couple trade ideas, idk if any team would actually pull the trigger
Bulls & Magic run it back
Magic receive Vuc and Coby
Bulls receive Cole, Wendell, Jett, 2025 frp
Bulls get some young talent and a pick, get off of Vuc
Magic get a legit floor spacing center and a younger scoring guard.
Suggs, Coby, Franz, Paolo, Vuc could be scary in East
Less realistic
Suns and Nuggets
Nuggets receive Book, Tyus, Okogie, O’Neal
Suns receive mpj, Murray, Tyson
Nuggets get a big time duo in book and Jokic and gives them more backcourt consistency
Tyus, Book, Braun, Gordon, Jokic
Suns lineup
Murray, Beal, Mpj, Kd, Nurkic, not much defense but could be interesting
Lots of money and other factors go into this likely not going through
2K trade
Lauri, Sexton get to Houston
Green, Cam +others/picks to Utah
Utah gets young, potential building blocks
Houston gets win now guys
Fred, Amen, Lauri, Jabari, Alp
With Tari, Sexton, Brooks, Reed, Adams off the bench

Trade Idea: The Magic go all in and trade for De'Aaron Fox
Magic Receive: De'Aaron Fox and Jordan McLaughlin
Kings Receive: Cole Anthony, Gary Harris, Jett Howard, and Cory Joseph, as well as Denver's 2025 first (top 5 protected), and 2027 first round pick from Orlando (unprotected)
Reason this trade makes sense:
The Orlando Magic are a young team on the rise looking to build on the success they achieved last season, and have the assets as well as the picks to make a big splash during this years trade deadline.
This trade would be the start of a potential rebuild as they are able to acquire young talent in Cole Anthony and Jett Howard, as well as draft capital for the future, in addition to other capital they would gain from trading other valuable players like Derozan, Malik Monk, and Sabonis.
wsp p here‘s my trade idea around the magic getting more 3-point volume:
The Magic get:
Jordan Poole
Richaun Holmes
The Wizards get:
KCP
Cole Anthony
Goga Bitadze (or WC jr)
Jett Howard
2025 first rounder
2026 secound rounder
The Magic would get another shot creater besides Franz Wagner and Paolo Banchero who could help with their lack of 3 Point shooting.
Horrendous trade for the magic
@@NahanooThe magic give up basically nothing of value to them besides kcp. they have to trade one of their centers because goga is way too good to be a third string center. Jett Howard won‘t crack the rotation and needs playing time to evolve.
P you gotta talk about my rockets man defence is out of this world and i know you like them gritty teams
That kings trade is a good move for both teams
as a Kings fan, love you P but what do i really gain from that trade with Miami? Gobert got multiple firsts, you gotta think Fox would at least get something more than what the BR article said.
@@nascarbaynewagon21 ain’t that what I said lol?
Problem is fox already turned down a contract extension and is a free agent next year so if he really wants to can sign in Miami next year after they trade Jimmy away

Trade 6 actually could work well for both sides
Listen to this 3 team trade if Bron requests a trade
Lakers get: Ingram Okoro Levert Strus Niang
Pelicans get: Rui Vincent christee and a Cavs 31 top 8 protected
Cavs get: LeBron Bronny Hayes JRE
Lakers completely fix their depth shooting and defensive issues while getting a young 2nd star next to AD.

My Trade Idea
GSW: Cam Thomas and Nic Claxton
BKN: Jonathan Kuminga, Brandin Podziemski, De'Anthony Melton, Kyle Anderson, 2026 1st round pick (Top 10 Protected)
GSW finally gets a center that can protect the paint and rim run. Cam Thomas can be the number 2 option behind Steph. BKN can go into the tank for the 2025 draft. Kuminga and Podz can be a shot in the dark for them, but they're both young and have shown flashes. Melton and Anderson are just there to make the contracts match.
Trade for Nuggets:
Nuggets receive:
Jimmy Butler
Alec Burks
Heat receive:

Nuggets add another star and heat would not have to give Jimmy his extension whilst also adding much needed shooting and young talent
The Hawks are one of the youngest teams in the NBA right now and will only get better.
After Victor talking about players, not working hard, I doubt he would wanna be paired up with LaMelo Ball

Lowkey thought this was Josh Hart 😭😭😭😭😭
That Heat trade is wild😂💀 Pat Riley didnt hold on to his Young Core for mf Fox🤦
confused by the no thumbnail, is that just my end bugging?
Team like the Kings is why I think we should end the east and west and make the playoffs go by record. East teams coast all regular season, meanwhile the kings would be decent in that conference. I love the tradition but its gotten to the point where we are rewarding bad teams and punishing good teams. How are kings fans ever going to have hope being in the west meanwhile the bulls always are in contention for a playoff spot.
A lot of those Lakers trades don’t work. You can’t aggregate contracts from the 2nd apron hard cap. But even so interesting topic

I don't really think Lamelo would be a good fit for San Antonio.
Yeah I’d think Fox would be their target tbh
Kings get:
Cameron Johnson (3 year deal, sure, but great shooter and someone that could come off their bench or start and provide that scoring boost they need) and Dayron Sharpe (a center that can back up Sabonis instead of Len, who they can also let walk or pay depending on how he plays for them).
Nets get:
Huerter (only 2 years left on his deal, could help develop younger players on roster with shooting) and Lyles (only 1 year left then that’s $8m free for Brooklyn), in addition to a selection of picks (i.e.
Shiiii plus he feels like the typa player tht wld thrive ina different situation
the kings are starting to play a lot better. Just beat the jazz by almost 50 points. Both the defense and offense was spectacular
ahh the jazz. a serious playoff contender
They dealt with a lot of early injuries and just poor shooting in general which the law of averages says that Keegan and Hurrtwr both won’t continue to shoot 28% from 3. Giving up on the kings this early is kinda wild ngl
They do need to trade for a big wing
the jazz lol
Vid is back lol
My trade:
Lakers Receive: Cam Johnson
Nets Receive: D’Angelo Russell, Jalen Hood-Schifino, and Christian Wood as salary filler
(Also any draft capital you want to add is great, I’m not great at valuing picks)
Same package to the Nets that the video brought up basically, but different players coming back.

- Marcus Smart
- Jake Laravia
- Mem 2025 Unprotected Frp

10:51 the Rockets lack veterans but they give up 2 vets for Randle? That trade makes no sense to me
If I want more veteran leader ship Randle would be at the bottom of my list as he is the most butt hurt player I’ve ever seen
I would love to see a trade around the blazers and warriors centered around deandre ayton or jerami grant and jonathan kuminga. Give the warriors more star power and gives jonathan kuminga a much needed change of scenery.

Why trade Jabari for Randle (rockets fan) it makes way more sense for the wolves and no way we’re gonna give him up at 21yo. HELL NO
The second apron has caused a more significant butterfly effect than people realize.

Jazz receive Gabe Vincent , Ousmane Dieng, Dillion jones,Utah 2024 1st via OKC
Okc gets another guy who can pass, shoot, defend. He would help with the lineups without Shai and be their best p&r ball handler
Lakers still have DLO and JHS to make another move and get younger and better defensively
wemby and lamelo would be the most fun duo of this generation imma put that shit in 2k rn lol
Don’t know how this needs to happen…. Would love cam Johnson on okc
Nah can Johnson to the cavs please
Is the hat country club shmucks?
jazz get : JHS, Maxwell lewis, waive the top 4 protection on the 2027 1st as well 2 2nd round picks
lakers get :Walker Kessler
I think instead of fox kings should trade Demar. you got him on a discount, trade him for some defensive minded depth.
Two trades for clippers
Clippers get: Wiggins melton looney Podz and 26 1st
Warriors get: kawhi
Clippers get : cam Johnson
Nets get: melton Tucker Kobe brown cam Christie and the warriors 1st
Not sure any of the teams would do this. But I feel it works for all involved. Nets get two young players cap space and the first rounder, might need some more picks 2nds. Clippers get off kawhi take on Wiggins contract but add younger players. Warriors get legitimate two if kawhi is healthy, they keep kuminga green moody.
I think the trade that needs to happen is cam Thomas for jimmy butler
unc eyes cooked this early?
get that december revenue unc
The most w timing
From a Pistons perspective, I don't think this Front Office has the same thoughts on Zach Lavine as the guy that was trying to save his job mid year doing too much. Lavine is a good player, but not who Pistons fans want
Trade fox to the magic
I don't like that lamelo trade for My Spurs, he doesnt fit the culture
So i give u a other option. Vassel, tre Jones, branham a 2025 top 10 proyected 2027 Spurs un protected and 2027 Hawks
For DeAron Fox and Kevin huerter
FOX WILL BE A KING FOR LIFE STOP THE FOX RUMORS
any trade gerting rid of lamelo doesn't make sense in the hornets perspective, a franchise with their history shouldn't get rid of their best talent.
I see it !
