Finally a good tutorial of how to scratch for beginners
This is great info, Im 59 and have always loved music and what dj's do with music as far as mixing. I put a few things together like a ddj-sx and my hp laptop and giving it a go for fun. I've sub to your channel and look forward to learning from your videos.

Michell iturriaga its called a drop. there are studios that will make you a pack of five different professional drops for under $50. thats what I did.....
yo anyone help me out, question have a rane ttm56 mixer technics just want serato for scratching recorded sounds that would make in reason and load it up in serato, would the SSL 1 box be the way to go for this?? some one who knows there stuff help me out :)

Hi mate. Can I ask a Q? I am a producer making hip hop a lot lately and I don’t have any dj experience and I’m really not looking for that, but what I need is some way to be able to add scratch effects and other vinyl-esque (spin down, spin up, speed control etc) effects to my tracks in Logic. Some people recommended downloading some scratch sounds and just adding them to a sampler and doing it that way, but I’m looking for something a bit more authentic, I want it to be able to actually manipulate what’s being played on the track, like a real scratch DJ would be able to do. I don’t have any DJ hardware I just have a midi controller keyboard. Is there a plugin you can recommend that would work for me? I am using Logic. Thanks.
