      i think it's a nice hidden easter egg, although if you are not surrounding yourself with flat earth information it kinda loses itself when mentioned

    Great video - I can't believe I've never thought of just using the actual computer monitor on my desk as a camera monitor for some of my talking head videos. It seems so obvious now. Also nice to see I'm not the only one that has to mess with framing and odd things showing up in the background. I enjoyed the behind the scenes - thank you!

    You should put your cameras in your bookshelf to bookend your ceramic cat. Then use the use the canon or Sony to blast them into the Toneh-verse. Love the show and shirts!

    Great choice on using a cage on the BMPCC OG. Having torn down and repaired mine I can tell those things are extremely fragile, not just for the inputs but for the whole internal structure - it's best to keep those screw posts as stress free as possible (Don't overtighten, it will break the structure and makes the posts loose) and your hands gripping the cage. I kinda wish I could go for a micro instead.

    I would add a rim light behind your left side out of the frame, on a tripod and aimed at the lantern. It would add structure and depth to your head and shoulders. Lighting from the front only can look a bit flat.

    Great videos! Some may disagree but I prefer more like a 3200 kelvin opposed to the 5600 kelvin, warmer and more inviting in my opinion.

    I don’t sync with clap anymore, just mark two timelines and choose autosync -> using wave - in davinci 👍

    I think in photography that lighting setup is called "beauty lighting" but instead of a tube light you're bouncing light from a flash off of a reflector below the model. You still mainly light with the key light but the bounce fills in all the shadows. At least that's what I recall. Looking good!

    Damn I love this share so much, and I also want to share my video gear behind the scene, it's only an Osmo Action OG and my dinner table light, but I color grade it to my best, I ditched my BBCs (big black camera) and choose this much cleaner setup.

    The books on the shelves now make you look more knowledgeable. You just need video and photography books to transfer in when you shoot this channel. Maybe Tony Northrop will make you a deal on his books in exchange for some in shot placements.😉😂 Oh, and don't forget to add random ancient cameras and lenses.

    you need only one tiny single LED source to get sharp detail, like eyelashes. No idea where to place it, maybe very close to key light.

    why not a boom mic or a lapel mic? You can just set the latter once and for all and the former will need adjusting only directions depending on the position.

    I believe the biggest improvement is that you should replace your camera with superior Panasonic G9M2 and a F0.7 Canon 50mm on speedbooster, this will give superior everything, superior superiority.

    I did notice you looked better come to find out it wasn't you it was a tube light underneath.😀 Enjoyed the walk through. You can put your mind at ease I'm not going to open up a competing YT channel. Doesn't look as fun, alone in a room talking to a screen that a bunch of strangers watch.

    Great funny video mate, just one question thats bugging me, so please indulge me :) How come you don't use a wireless mic, like the Rode Wireless Pro / GO or Hollyland Lark Max or something ? I am a beginner, so forgive my potential ignorance, but those mics, especially the Hollyland one have amazing audio quality and it would save you sync in post, etc Please reply if you can, as curiousity is killing me :))

    @cameraconspiracies Kasey, good work. Suggestion, use a cheap mic arm (fold up scissor looking ones) clip the arm and mic to the brown thing on the wall next to the curtains. Now the mic is always out of the way and also yours hands won't hit it. 🎤🎤🎤🎤👐👐👐👐👍👍👍
    BTW Remeber, your mom loves you. A fair amount ppl don't get/have that. Your feeling of morning will dim with time but it will always remain. It's the reminder of your connection. 😎❤️

    What made my Blackmagic self-shooting easier was to download the Bluetooth+ App, so I can push the auto-focus remotely. Sometimes I need to hit it a few times to get it right, but eventually it does it. I'm not sure if the OG has Bluetooth like the newer models, but that helped quite a bit.
