As an American is been an absolutely awesome to watch you take a classic Ford across the beautiful country of Italy! No quite as exciting as a vintage Ferrari, but an American classic nonetheless.
Really appreciate the cinematography you do, sometimes it over done when it's just a normal video getting your car washed or something but then you get stuff like this and it's magical.
This is the reason I love this YT channel. Mr JWW looks not just at the technical side of things but also appreciates the aesthetic and design of beautiful cars and surroundings ❤
There is something about the Mille Miglia . After watching you do a part with DDE super fast-paced gumball 3000 and to then come across and watch you do this a lot slower chilled rally was lovely to watch . What an experience and thank you for taking us along with you . Looking forward to what comes next
Sad that you couldn’t participate in the complete Gumball, but this looked amazing! Your march to a million subs is going strong James! Take a look at something like a ‘66 Chevrolet Impala SS convertible. Put a modern corvette engine in it and overhaul the suspension and it would be a blast. A Cadillac is too big for Europe.
Really enjoyed your video great not just showing the front runners. Your appreciation of the support people and all those behind the scenes is genuine and great to see as indeed they are often overlooked
The cars, the location and the atmosphere of this rally are totally off the charts man. Great content, some of your best. I'm not a constant viewer, but i recall when Sam and co introduced you and you started your channel. Iknow this content doesn't get your big numbers, but it's the best.
Can't thank you enough, so very grateful for your point of view provided to us. I have been in many of the locations, but the stringing together with the vibrant context provided, the dialogue, the generosity of your very humble disposition. The under the skin cultural vibrations touching upon such stunning landscapes, the inclusion of mechanics, polizia, hosts, handshakes, camera, sound, it was all for a very intimate, analogue experience. Your sense of humor for the rough and tumble T-Bird was the benevolent icing on the cake, Ciao...
Awesome work! You not only take us with you with filming videos, you also enabled us to feel all the emotions you have had. I am so happy that I was able to enjoy your journey.
Thank you so much for taking us along on the beautiful and unique tour of Italian cities and landscapses in these wonderful and legendary cars. Gave me a sense of sitting next to you and experience the Mille Miglia for real. Kind regards from Copenhagen, Denmark.👍👍
What an amazing experience, hard work and fantastic videography. Thank you for letting us join in with this fantastic journey :) Same time again next year!! lol
I drove around LA in an early 1960's Cadillac convertible which felt like a dream. They feel cross between a flying carpet and a tank, with the stopping ability of an ocean liner, but my god you don't half feel special in one. Go for it James.
Hey James, Thunderbird came as a 4 door convertible in the early to mid 60's and it was very cool looking, low, wide and luxurious. Awesome perspective of the Mille Miglia you gave us. Really had a sense of the cinematic beauty of Italy and the joy and tribulations of the Mille. And the cars!!! EPIC. Great job!
Mr. James i think the 1965 Lincoln Continental is the one that would fit you and 3 of your friends to drive around town and to the pub. good job on the rally and good job on gumball.
Thank you so much Mr. JWW for such a wonderful vlogging of the Mille Miglia. Stack difference with Gumball3000. Its chilled and fantastic content no one else I know has ever attempted to document as a participant. Absolutely brilliant James. Enjoy and keep them coming for us too to enjoy watching.
What great vlog of the rally and I wouldn’t expect anything different from you James, Thank you for give us all a insight of what happens in this amazing rally. Can you only drive classic vehicles in the rally say pre 60 or 70’s?
Mr JWW Absolutely Incredible Video and Congratulations on the 1000 Miglia and on being a Mille Miglia Brand Ambassador and I think you should get a Cadillac Seville for the Channel and when is your behind the scenes Channel coming
That was so special, the country is amazing. Great car to use. Get a mid fifties Chevy, Oldsmobile or caddy to cruise around in. Parts are easy to get. Thank you for sharing this with us 👍👍👍👍 Love your videos. Interesting and informative
Thanks mate for sharing the rally ,I’ve really enjoyed the ride , plus been touching wood thinking at any time the car would just give up. I once watched James Martin doing the same rally , PLEASE PLEASE add it again .
I had the fortunate pleasure of visiting Italy. I drove in a Renault clio mtv edition 😅 and man i empathize with your travelexperience. I would drop everything and do it all over again. I wish i knew back then i could of started a youtube channel traveling the world in amazing cars. Let me know when you are hiring in america
I have a 1957 Cadillac Sedan DeVille. I would love to take it on a trip like the Mille, but I couldn’t imagine taking it down the Italian city streets.
Thanks for bringing us along on this epic journey. For a big American cruiser, how about a Ford Galaxie 500 as they have plenty of room for your mates to cruise in style in
what a great event just love it amazingly appropriate car in a fantastic setting and scenery looks just so inviting, I would love to just drive the course regardless in an open top car just great 👍
Ah, Milan and its cobblestones near city centre... Last year I was driving there in a lowered Lancia Delta on 18". Very, very bumpy. And you can't drive slowly, because everyone else drives fast (for those conditions). I'll never forget a guy in a Gallardo Spyder passing by, his head bounced like crazy from vibrations :-) :-) :-) Top content James,, much more interesting and classy than a Gumball (IMHO). Italy car culture is awesome. Last month I visited Concorso d'Eleganza on lake Como for the second time, it was great exppirience.
Absolutely enjoyed the scenery throughout the trip. In answer to your car of choice. That would be the 1958 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible. Their were only 815 convertibles produced that year. Average cost is about $125,000.00. The Thunderbird has nothing on the Biarritz. THE ALTIMATE 50'S CRUISER!!!
Good Morning James , and family Well done , James you finish your road trip ! How you and family can have a well deserved rest 😎 then on to next one 👍 you have been a star mate , WITH all that's been going on , over the last month Your a real trooper 👏👏👏 🤔 were the shades 😎 looks like a great pair of Sun glasses , well safe journey back home regards to you and family c u mate
Hey, you tried. Vintage cars are beautiful. But, you need a full-time mechanic. What a thrill to see this rally. I owned 2 Alfa Romeo spiders in my life and have always wanted to do this drive/rally. Cheers
I couldn't put up with all that heat in a convertible with no a/c, so I take my hat off to you James What a feast (assault) for the eyes though. Italy is soooo beautiful and the cars were pretty spectacular too. I bet Harry was cooked in the Gullwing 🥵 59 Chevy Impala coupe 2 dr. is a complete eyeful if you are thinking of an American cruiser James. Sooo spectacular with the two tone paint and the most flamboyant rear wings. With modern running gear and an LS motor, quite a tool....a/c too!! Great photography James ....and now-relax!😎
1955-57 Chevy Bel Air with a retro mod so you have all the convenience and safety of a new car with an old cool car you can cruise to the pubs with your mates; yet still small enough to go through the windy roads and not the size of a Caddilac. Do a collaboration with Autotopia, right in DDEs back yard, so you can do some other collaborations with your Canadian mates.
As an American is been an absolutely awesome to watch you take a classic Ford across the beautiful country of Italy! No quite as exciting as a vintage Ferrari, but an American classic nonetheless.
I have been watching all your Miglia videos tonight. This is high quality entertainment! This channel has turned into an absolute favourite! :)
Thanks buddy!
Really appreciate the cinematography you do, sometimes it over done when it's just a normal video getting your car washed or something but then you get stuff like this and it's magical.
Cannot express how much I am enjoying this content, you really make it feel like I am right there! Keep it up :) Thanks!!
Great to hear thanks!
Great content, with the pro production quality and your natural on the fly narration this is fit for broadcast
Appreciate that thanks 🙏🏼
This is the reason I love this YT channel. Mr JWW looks not just at the technical side of things but also appreciates the aesthetic and design of beautiful cars and surroundings ❤
James, a 1961-1963 Lincoln Continental 4-door convertible would suit you well!
There is something about the Mille Miglia . Ohhh mine ~~ (10:33) That cathedral. Well done mate, another awesome virtual tour, feast for my eyes. 🙌
the camera movement around 4th minute is just soooo smooth and awesome!!!
The best motor related channel on UA-cam....by far.
Really enjoyed your video great not just showing the front runners. Your appreciation of the support people and all those behind the scenes is genuine and great to see as indeed they are often overlooked

Leaps and bounds. Yourself and your crew nailed this!

What an incredible journey!
Enjoyed these. The backing music has been particularly on point 👏
59 or 60 Cadillac Eldorado convertible would be my choice. Nice big American boat of a car and absolutely gorgeous. Love the content James!
Thanks mate for sharing the rally ,I’ve really enjoyed the ride , plus been touching wood thinking at any time the car would just give up. I once watched James Martin doing the same rally , PLEASE PLEASE add it again .
Cadillac convertible with back suicide doors! The perfect car for the garage!

Well done. Very nice.
Exactly my thoughts! What a car to make a restomod. Keep the original looks and enhance it to make it perfect even for daily use. What a beauty!
Thanks for sharing, looked incredible from this side of the camera.
4:20 Yellow F40 in the background.
Well said James.👍🇬🇧
You need a 1960's Lincoln continental 4 door convertible. These have 4 seats and suicide doors. Awesome car.
Good or bad moments, you still were on Mille Muigla and not a lot of people can say that. Thanks again for sharing the experience.
That looked awesome.
Especially after gumball? You are a machine james
Thank you JWW team, you are the best!
I have a 1957 Cadillac Sedan DeVille. I would love to take it on a trip like the Mille, but I couldn’t imagine taking it down the Italian city streets.
Absolutely fabulous video. It really conveys the insanity, and beauty of the Mille Miglia. And that Thunderbird is the definition of cool😎
Thanks for bringing us along on this epic journey. For a big American cruiser, how about a Ford Galaxie 500 as they have plenty of room for your mates to cruise in style in

I feel this race should always feature cars from the sixties and earlier exclusively. 😎👍
Cornelius Would Be Proud.🙌🏼
An unforgettable experience which very few of us will ever get to do.
10/10 James !!!!.
By the way congrats on 800,000 subscribers and growing👏👏👏👍🇦🇺
Quality video this James! well put together
James, get a true old classic then resto mod it but respectfully of its soul.
That car with decent modern breaks etc. Would be sweet
Imagine the DDE guys there.
"the police here is different, not trying to arrest us" lol
MR JWW I truly enjoy your content and I’m working hard so I can get a beast of a defender built like yours!! 💚💚💚🇨🇦
1955-57 Chevy Bel Air with a retro mod so you have all the convenience and safety of a new car with an old cool car you can cruise to the pubs with your mates; yet still small enough to go through the windy roads and not the size of a Caddilac. Amazing content, James!
02:30 That yellow F40 😲
So an addition to the garage is this Thunder Bird, I presume.
What a life dream to take part at the mm! ❤
This is not just a Supercar channel. This is a Lifestyle channel!
Wonderful indeed!
welcome back to Italy!
a 1959 Ford Thunderbird has 4 seats and is larger and still really cool, or more cool.
I think a 1966 Lincoln Continental convertible would be perfect for you!!!
Just by watching you through 2 3 episodes, how much intrigued i am to be in a vintage car
A 56 Thunderbird with a Ford 5.0 an auto trans, new breaks, and suspension. would be an amazing GT car.
