Exploring the park was an incredible experience, and can be discovered more by arriving early to beat the crowds. Despite being in the shoulder season, the park was already filled with people just a few hours after our arrival. Nevertheless, Plitvice Lakes National Park served as a perfect start to my summer adventure in Europe, leaving us in awe of its mesmerizing landscapes.
Plitvice Lakes National Park in Croatia is pristine natural wonderland that showcases a symphony of vivid colors and inspiring landscapes. Plitvice Lakes National Park's crystal-clear lakes, fed by numerous sparkling waterfalls, create a mesmerizing scene that seems straight out of a fairytale. The park's network of wooden walkways and trails allows visitors to immerse themselves in the ethereal beauty that Plitvice Lakes National Park offers.
Plitvice Lakes National Park, also called locally Plitvicka Jezera is an UNESCO Site and is the oldest and the largest national park in the Republic of Croatia. This park reachable easily and is a day trip from Zagreb, Zadar and Split. The park is open daily with entry from 7am until 4pm.
