The best reparations would be to return them to where they were taken from. That's the only thing that would be fair to all.

Americans fought the deadliest war in our history in order to free those slaves. What kind of reparations do you imagine THEY owe for that?

@@mikerof5070 What about all the stolen land that was given to immigrants from Europa after the civil war and both world wars. If your family wasn't in the civil war then you're truly not an American anyway. Most ppl who claim Wyt can't even trace their family that far in America. Both sides of my family fought in the American Revolution and every war after that.

Why do the proponents of DEI look exactly like I thought they would? We gotta tslk about this. I'm pro-Black and because of such I've always despised DEI type initiatives. Those advocating such don't look like me or come from my walk of life yet advocate as if they do. The one lady talks about all the staff who are not ou of jobs but fails to see that system of staff is directly tied to those from lower economic rungs being priced out. Part of the reason behind the 400% rise in tuition since the 90s is directly tied to the number of faculty on these campuses. The administration to actual class room staff has become way too lopsided.

How long do we have to talk about it. Where do we even start?

The issue I see is Wyt people want Black tax money and business but don't want Black people to have our own without any restriction and guidelines. You can't teach that crimes involving the kkk wasn't race based in Texas. We literary don't teach reconstruction in Texas. Why? Because we had the most lynching in that time period.

@@FBAHistory When you say "We don't teach" that's where I take issue. Who is we, the same system that never wanted us to begin with? When CET was all the rage I tried having internal conversations to no avail. Would we really accept Becky teaching OUR history? In 2024 we've abdicated way too much to others and now we get mad when those others don't see things as we do.

If they Didn't Earn It, they should be focused on something else they're good at.

The three talking heads were from liberal urban cities. How about more diversity like including someone from A&M..
