Hi Allen I'm really happy you make these videos and go out your way to help others become successful.
Just one correction because I'm preparing for the test soon and going through past papers. After the ECV it's the regulator that reduces the gas. They try to trick us by putting governor as one of the answers.
Absolutely bloody brilliant, please keep up the good work.
Thank you so much Allan these videos helps a lot.👍
Allen your a GEM thanks for posting these sort a videos, god bless you 🙏
Another great video and helpful ,
You don't look a day over 30 Allen 😎
Here is another thumbs up 👍
Very helpful video Allen, thank you. Thumbs up from me, and this is the comment 😃
I m very satisfied your video.
Thank you very much
Great Video Allan. 👍🏿
Mi's need to be easier to find important information.
As a new gas engineer or an old one like me with bad memory, I can't always remember how to put a boiler in high/low mode to run tests. And it's not always easy to find the optimum gas ratios in the mi either. Worcester are good in this case. Easy to put into service mode and easy to find correct readings also
Tanx for the upload good of you both to do questions answer video's would be valuable for people coming in to this trade keep up the good work👍
E K but you didn’t add any comments 😂 My plan Didnt work then😂 I was hoping we would get loads of answers in the comments. Thanks
Great video. I have my acs in 2 weeks time
Love your channel
Thanks Allan
11:57 that pipework reminds me of that Windows 95 pipe screensaver with pipes everywhere
Nice one Al!
@@AllenHart999 got the electrics too close to the pipe. that pipe teeing up through the ceiling should be clipped/supported too right? what would happen with those wires in the end? either the pipe or the wires need to be moved? would end up quite a job?
👌
Hi Allen, I passed my gas right out of college which has expired 2 years ago... used to have vast experience on gas works but been on site now for 2 years... do you have any advice as I want to renew my gas but feel I have forgotten a shed load
Elliot said “gas rate the meter” would you not be gas rating the appliances?
👍👍👍👍
Great videos thanks,Regards the Baxi service manual is this only issued by Baxi if ive been on Baxi training course ?
can only see installation manuals on baxi website .
You can read the installation instructions, I got my manual from Baxi, Thanks.
👍👍👍👍👍👍
💝💝💝
Looked at this one phone need to get on the laptop to have a look at the benchmark.
Brilliant video ....
Clipping distance
Clips required on boiler pipework
Too close to electric wire
Think I spotted flux residue on meter pipework
Sleeve / sealed
Was that earth 6mm
Pipe sizing looked correct
AR flue seal
Bench mark & cp12 incorrectly filled out
Dont think the condense pipe should be open ....surely should be sealed !
DLM looks ok @ 4ohms
Final Flue integrity test with case on
Wonder what cooker was like lol.
Have you got any videos on when you would ID a cooker Allen.
Thanks for your time doing these videos. 👍👏👌
Absolutely brilliant video! I only got these because I’ve had my face in the viper gas books for the past couple of months.
The other two things that I thought might be an issue is where the earth cable for the meter comes through the wall it has to be sleeved / sealed. The clips look like steel on the copper gas pipe, I might be wrong but doesn’t that cause corrosion?
Adjust gas valve then test with case on I always analyze with case off test the flue seals and burner seals then I will test with the case on
Allen on a separate note, what's your opinion on Heatline Capriz 2?
Customer wants the cheapest boiler can get but still wants something decent. What you reckon?
Main eco compact is a budget price but it’s a Baxi 800. That would be my choice

0.4 good ;) as blue screen 👌
@@AllenHart999 haha that's it 😉
🔵 Good or check
🔴 fault
Great bit of equipment for engineers
Close to electric cable gas pipeline running
Boiler flue pipe not sealed properly
Clipping?
Yea i notice that too, and gas pipe going to the boiler to far from wall without clips.
Surely electricians shouldn't be fitting stats to condensing boilers as their breaking a combustion seal on positive pressure case seals 😳
Wouldn’t gas boilers be banned by 2025 sir?
Gas boilers are not getting banned, but as from 2022 I believe all new build properties will not be allowed gas installed, they will need to be electric heating, however there are trials as we speak in the midlands area where hydrogen is being introduced into the gas supply to ascertain whoever we can switch to a mixture of gas and hydrogen for the remaining millions of boilers out on the patch. Hope this helps
@@kevincranfield5235 so whats going to happen to the gas engineers when they start putting in electric heating in new homes?
You could try speak up that guy is not speaking loud enough I'm on bus with earphones in and cannot hear him as he's whispering
