If you want something similar in concept, you could try "mate cocido". You can either make it yourself (better), or you can also buy it in tea bags (just like tea). You can search for recipes online, it's really easy to make. Also I wanted to recommend "Don Satur" biscuits if you can find them (the salty ones). They are an incredible combination for when you drink mate.
Hey forgive me if you already have a review up, but I love la Merced de campo, and I’m super interested in trying the other three types of la Merced. And not to bombard you with suggestions but playdito makes despalata in a red bag as well. Would love to hear your thoughts on them
I suggest going with a thermos that is right for you. This might depend on how much water you want/need, size, shape, the pour spout, etc. Lots of people reccommend Stanley thermoses. I also have and reccommend them. I also have others such as Igloo, and another that I am not sure of the brand.
I've tried a lot (stanley, lumilagro, generic chines ones, Thermos, Stanley knockoffs with different brandings, contigo) and for me the Contigo is the best. It's one of (if not) the lightest of the steel thermos that I've tried, it's good looking and keeps the water warm for a looong time. I find Stanley to be overly heavy and I find that annoying. But that's my preference, it depends on what you are looking for. Personally I prefer and use every day a glass lined thermos because it's lightweight and the water doesn't taste like metal but it has the con of breaking easily if you drop it. I've heard that japanese Zojirushi thermos are the best in the world but I haven't had the opportunity of trying them. Hope I helped. Cheers.
I hear ya! I was a bit hesitant, too. This works great if you're on the go. I would also like to see (or make) some flavored ones so drinkers have a variety of choices.

Personally I don't like these instant drinks - mainly having in mind instant coffee. So I'm kinda hesitant to anything powdered.
