Fix it this way. Rock turns heel at press conference. Joins Roman acknowledges him as tribal chief. Major heat for rock and roman, cody over even more. Rock joins Roman and friends at ringside, only to cost Roman and setup the tribal chief match at Mania 41. Long game like Rock said and it goes in line with how the fans are viewing this anyways.

@mbanfield99 It kinda has to because if Cody does face Roman then the belt is a bitch belt. This belt is like the 3rd most important belt in WWE at this point.
The only way it works is if Rock turns heel because then you can play the 'abuse of power' angle and Cody basically being forced to give up his shot. But I very much doubt Dwayne's precious ego would allow him to turn heel.

MJF vs Omega gave me this idea. I was thinking that Cody could have a match with Rock BEFORE Wrestlemania. No championship needed. A match for Cody to get his chance at Roman one on one. Also, since Roman trashed Seth's title and likes to win with interference, Seth could aid Cody as payback for Roman's remark.
Cody vs Drew, then.
Winner gets a shot at Roman.
It works because it ties both Cody and Drew’s storylines together; they both want their moment, both have history with the bloodline, both are standing in each other’s way.
That really just makes the RR win meaningless. Better to just have Roman wrestle both nights

If they stick to the Rock/Roman match, then they should have Cody choose the WHC. Once WM comes, and if Rock isn't able to beat Roman, Rock should then reference what he whispered to Cody, and he introduces him as a surprise opponent for Roman. Cody finnesed and got himself two title shots at WM.
If rock said he is a special guest referee and takes out the heyman usos and sikoa during the match for cody to beat roman clean that would be the peoples champ behaviour

Im holding hope the presser is in Vegas bc they are gonna announce 41 in Vegas and I hope Rock Roman takes place there instead.
Cody already said he wanted Roman's belt. Just not at wrestle mania. In that being said, the WWE showed their true colors. They realized this was going to cost them fan base so this is what they come up with, but it still says to bow down to Dewayne Johnsons wants. Selfish if you ask me.
This is what I PERSONALLY do:
Night 1 double main event- Roman vs Rock, Seth v Drew
Night 2 main event- Roman vs Cody
Everyone gets what they want. Drew gets his shot, Priest can still cash in, Seth gets his spotlight, Rock gets his main event, Cody ends the story, WWE and TKO get their money, fans get their wish......everyone wins.

Rock v. Reigns Night 1, then Rhodes v. Reigns Night 2 I agree would be best at this point. You tell the story that Cody expects The Rock to beat Roman, and that's why he said not at Wrestlemania. It still makes Cody look like crap because it's like he's trying to avoid Roman, but this is the situation we're in now.
Like it or not, Rock is gonna beat Roman. It's obvious they're gonna end the bloodline story with the Rock being the real head of the table. lol
To me, the only logical way this shakes out is if it’s Rock-Roman Night 1, and Cody gets the winner Night 2. Cody said he won’t be fighting Roman at WrestleMania but wants to take everything away from Roman and still wants the title. How would he accomplish that?: The Rock beats Roman Reigns for the championship and for the head of the table. Then Cody would need to beat Dwayne to become the champion, but Roman would lose everything in the process. Either Rock takes it away from Roman, or Cody does. It’s not the worst plan. And obviously when I say this I’m saying Roman should win Night 1, and Cody should win Night 2.

I’d rather see a triple threat match. If Roman wrestles two nights in a row then the match quality the second night probably won’t be as good in my opinion. Also that match would probably help prevent The Rock from tearing something again.
There is only way this match is going down. It's going to be the Rock vs Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. There is not going to be any surprises like a triple threat match or two matches in two days. The Rock is both HHH and Cody Rhodes boss. The Rock or Roman Reigns can stay champion now for many more years. Cody Rhodes has no say in anything that TKO/ WWE operations does. Cody Rhodes might as well stay home.
Either do a night 1 rock vs Roman and than night 2 Cody vs Roman. Or Cody vs Roman with rock being a special guest refree and he takes out solo sikoa ultimately helping Cody finish the story and than Roman calls out the rock next night and they have a 1v1 at mania 41. It’s that simple

The rock and Roman night one ...solo gets involved costing the rock the win. Then night two they try the same thing with Cody but the rock helps Cody and then that builds rock and Roman 2

I'd bet money its going to be Roman vs. Cody for the title at WrestleMania XL with The Rock as guest referee/enforcer to keep The Bloodline from interfering, leading to Roman holding The Rock responsible for him finally losing the title which leads to a year long build of Roman vs The Rock at WrestleMania 41.

Best thing that could happen at this point is Cody, Rock, and Roman in a 3 way. Prior to the match Rock feels "bad" about taking Cody's spot. At Mania Rock and Roman beat Cody down non-stop and Roman takes the pin with Rock looking on in approval.

I just thought about this. What if Cody makes the decision to challenge Rock at WrestleMania for the opportunity to wrestle against Roman? Like DB did against Triple H at Mania 30. Cody could wrestle twice. He wouldn’t be the first wrestler to do so. And maybe that’s the match Rock actually wrestles in. Then if he wins, Cody battles Roman while the Rock fends off the bloodline, and then it sets up Rock vs Roman at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas - Stakes are high for the head of the table. 🤷🏾♂️

Listening to Cody's promo & reading it to the letter, I assumed him saying "not at WrestleMania" meant he was gonna invoke his title match at Elimination Chamber. He never verbalized "I relinquish my title match to the Rock" which I think is their backdoor in case they get cold feet.
