Fan Backlash For Maxxine Dupri Exposes PATHETIC Wrestling Community

- Maxxine Dupri can't wrestle...yet. We hope she gets it all together but after a recent clip surfaced online after a very bad performance at a recent WWE House Show, fans took to social media to support Maxxine after a supposed terrible fan experience, which of course was blown out of proportion by the woke section of the Internet Wrestling Community.

@@nickwilliams904The you suck chant didn't bother me that was fine 👍 but saying don't come back was a bit harsh 🤔 but not way out of line so I agree with the fan about 75%

WWE did her no favors putting her in the ring in the first place unless she was going to be nothing more than a valet
The undertaker is right, wwe is soft nowadays
ESPECIALLY against Nia Jax, she is awful, hurts people, and is sloppy. The worst person for her to be in the ring with is Nia imo
@@jayjaybulldog9180 Yeah he was right on how they handle nowadays people critizicing, just imagine how ruthless they were in the ruthless aggression, attitude era or even how Roman Reigns handle his disastrous run as a babyface.
How did it handle? He took it up on his chin and moved on to become better
Rhea actually thinks fast food workers and grocery baggers are treated with respect!? 😂😂😂🤣🤣
She talks like such a privileged, ignorant child that has never had a real job in her life.
I never understand why WWE insists on forcing their female managers to wrestle. Like she was fine as a valet.
@@user-lo6fd8hn8l What does Virgil have to do with Maxxine getting booed for sucking in the ring?
@@vortex_1336 Dude is on almost every thread saying the same stuff 😂
The same as eva marie and lana
I sat in the crowd at Great Balls of Fire with my huge sign that had Roman on it and said Get Of My TV and had a lot of people asking to take pictures with it. My problem wasnt with Roman personally, it was with the way he was being booked. People have the right to voice their displeasure.
The Undertaker is right, WWE has gone soft
@@jayjaybulldog9180 WWE hasn’t necessarily gone soft but the fans have. Undertaker’s reasoning was based off of nostalgia and it was a bit silly because his idea of soft his not carrying guns and weapons around. He finds grooming or taking care of your looks as soft which is just a silly and old school way of thinking. The fans are just making this a bigger deal than it is. Undertaker isn’t the best example to use rn to be fair.
I feel bad for you actually paying money to attend an event called Great Balls of Fire.
Literally the worst name that could ever be thought of for anything let alone a wrestling event. 😆😆
Although names like Wrestlemania Backlash and Wrestle Dream (AEW) give it a run for its money. 🤪
@@KingOfCoolness Great balls of fire was a great show though.
Rhea Ripley is so outta touch with what she said too. When i worked customer service i apologized to a customer saying "sorry its my first week" and they literally said "well its gonna be your last week then" but I aint a hot woman like Maxxine so nobody was going Oh poor girl! you paying customers are so MEAN! Do better!"
The Undertaker is right, WWE has gone soft
You didn't deserve that, but you held it down as a professional. If they said that in front of thousands of ppl with cameras rolling, it would be a lot more difficult to maintain professionalism... and at the very least you would've had to fight the urge to go viral for catching an assault charge.
Who told you that seems like a straight up a**hole though, the fuck.
@@jayjaybulldog9180the 🌎 has gone soft

I remember Steve Austin said if the crowd don't cheer or boo you then should not be out there if the crowd doesn't say anything at all you not doing your job
That’s facts. Now The Undertaker is right, WWE has gone soft
People were booing because she is legit terrible in the ring
There's NXT Live Event house shows here in Florida so why isn't Maxxine working those to gain in ring experience? Obviously Maxxine isn't ready to work in the ring on the main roster.

The wrestlers didn't like her cos she was hurting them so of course they're not gonna support Nia, Maxxine is shit like so shit it's kind of funny. Who came to Big Show’s aid when fans were chanting ‘Please retire’ *clap clap clapclapclap* ?
You can’t embrace the cheers but condemn the boos, it’s all a part of it. Cheers would become meaningless if they had to be given out like participation trophies.
She would have been better in the Divas Era.
Yeah I gotta agree with you here, no reason for the women's locker room to create such a ruckus over some generic boos. Like, come on, it's part of the show. If anything, Maxxine probably took it positively as an encouragement to get better.
They're acting like she went backstage and started breaking down and crying.
We are the ones paying our hard earned money to watch these wrestlers perform in the ring for our entertainment and we can’t make no noise man get tf out of here with that JD you’re so right glad you covered this
Undertaker is right about wwe being soft. This is what happens when Triple h book a wrestler like maxxine who is not even ready to perform especially after what happened at the Royal Rumble with Bayley. Maybe Tiffany Stratton can give her some pointers and she been training for 3 years.
As much as the fans cry online and defend whatever criticism their favorite company/wrestler receives, can we really be surprised/annoyed when the wrestlers do it?
The Undertaker is right, WWE has gone soft
Exactly. I don't see what the problem with wrestlers defending a relatively new person from harsh reception is.
Like, she DOES suck, but come on. She's basically brand new to performing in-rong; there's no doubt she's not used to masses of people booing her, grown men screaming that she sucks and not to come back, getting on social media and seeing fans call for her getting fired, and probably getting personal DMs from the weirdos who take this shit too seriously echoing all those sentiments.
JD gets hung up on people telling him his takes are bad online for an entire week & will get in front of a camera, damn near in tears and scream at the top of his lungs about story, but is calling other people sensitive/soft for not being used to poor reception. Lol
These are supposed to be PROFESSIONALS. Sucking that type of shit up is PART of being 1 (a PROFESSIONAL). Get over it.
True they are just doing what we do
No. There's a specific dynamic here. WE ARE THE MONEY PAYING FAN. They are the performer MAKING THE MONEY. If you want to drive away your source of money, talk shit to the TICKET BUYING FAN... I'm sick of this shit. If they don't provide a worthy product for the money I paid, their ass is getting booed out of the fucking building. PERIOD. If that hurts her fragile ego, TOO GOD DAMN BAD, then refund my fucking money.
The thing that’s funny is that if this happened to a male wrestler who was in the same position it wouldn’t even be this big of a deal. But because it’s a woman it’s way worse in peoples eyes
wrong, it would'nt even be brought up
@@pastorcodymitchell1456lol right they will send him back to catering and fired soon after
Woke ugly world
Didn’t see anyone from the men’s roster defending Gable Stevenson when he was getting booed.
Hell, where were all these women when Simone Johnson received death threats?
Zach Wilson, the QB of the NY Jets, had the whole stadium booing for bad play
......and now he's been given permission by his employer to find another team , probably not the best comparison
Adding to the Roman Reigns analogy, we don't get Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson without 'Die, Rocky, Die.'
Setting aside the fans' entitlement to express themselves in exchange for a paid ticket, the journey of development in this art form has always accepted fan response as an indicator of progress.
i bet they will pipe in cheers for Maxxine you watch.. its going to be ridiculous
please wwe dont do that
Maxine Dupri isn't the only one who should go back to nxt I'm sure there are others that do
Maxine Dupri would be fire in Matches against Bea....i mean Blair Davenport and Alba Fyre
Is it me, or do some of these wrestlers seem like they’re not cut out for this business?
She’s probably not. Most likely she got hired because the cute face to put on tv. They hired her to be a valet not a wrestler.
These wrestlers just need to realize that sometimes the truth hurts. Either deal with it, or this is not the place for them.
Pathetic wrestling community indeed…. And at the helm of this community. Are these wrestlers themselves. If anyone’s soft in this scenario. It’s this modern era of Wrestlers
“The one reaction that you should be worried about is no reaction” that line right there should make ANYONE who wants to make it in the business think twice before fully committing to what you wanna do
She was called up to soon. She just isn’t ready in ring wise. She needs more matches and honesty house shows are perfect for that and the PC
If I was Hunter, I would never put Maxine Dupri in front of a capacity crowd until she has the fundamentals to compete in the ring.
They hate there fans bro. I know these talents do. Can’t change my mind

Not all fans did that. So we should judt be quiet now because of a few fools?
I like the clip where a fan told Tiffany Stratton "you suck", she turned to him and said "suck my ass"... He giggled, happy to get a reaction from who is probably his new favorite wrestler.
Imagine the Hogan nwo heel turn happening now and the crowd reaction. The place would get shut down. Imagine Austin saying to Jake get a bottle of thunderbird and try and get your courage back in the bottom of it. Could you imagine? All these Karen's, both male and female need to grow up a bit.
where tbf they're men no one cares about them
Snowflakes on Twitter were recently crying racism at Tiffany for calling Jade "black b!tc#" or something like that. Austin's gimmick would be canceled in this soft pg era 😂. Social media and wokeness are ruining wrestling.
Since Rhea and Becky, feel so strongly, maybe they should push for Maxine to be added to there WM match! And for Selina Vega...., didn't she get fired for having a twitch channel?she didn't have an issue with bath water drinking fans back then !
Regardless of how different our opinions on wrestling product in general lately have been, this take is spot on. Fans are allowed to dislike a bad match, a movie, a show or a song.
So why did creative put Maxxine Dupri out there to wrestle whilst knowing she's not ready? Now this fan has every right to feel how they feel but I feel bad for Maxxine too as she's relatively young in this industry and doesn't come from a wrestling dynasty
The undertaker is right all along
Because WWE knows their audience is full of morons so they can put whoever in the ring without any talent because the WWE fans eat up anything
@@jayjaybulldog9180 the Undertaker is retired, at the tail end of his life and came up in an era where fans were probably still screaming the N word at black heel wrestlers. Him being right about people going soft doesn't hold much weight. Lol
@ctredez2047 so you're soft. Got it.
For f$ck sake fans said die rocky die and what did he do become the biggest star and now a board member. Reigns got destroyed by the crowd.
If Rhea is so upset about fan reaction for Maxxine why doesn't she put her over in a match and make her a star? I get that we live in a PC culture where we are supposed to support each other but what also needs to be factored in is that Maxxine chose wrestling live and being a sports entertainer as her profession, which means she's going to have critics like everyone else. She knew what she was getting into. Wrestling fans notice everything and if wrestlers or sports entertainers can't take their criticism, they are in the wrong business.
You would think something awful happened to her. She was booed like any performer. The only logical thing I can think of that happened was she got emotional in the locker room and the girls felt the need to speak out.
The Undertaker is right, WWE has gone soft
I dont think anybody is saying she is personally a terrible person. Do the words "You suck" and "Dont come back" really sting that bad? That pretty tame compared to other things ive heard drunk idiot fans say. Granted most wrestling fans belong on a Jerry Springer tv set but you gotta ignore em and move on. It'd be different if the fan said something more harsh.
Every wrestler that supports this we should not give any reaction to them during their segments and matches.
Then they will come on the internet and complain that we don’t care for them.
Maxxine should stay out of the ring period, she should just stay as a valet, idk what WWE was thinking putting Maxxine in the ring when she is clearly not ready yet.
The difference is Roman didn't actually suck... too much truth for Maxine to handle 😂
His matches were better back then his moveset used to be crazy
Even in Roman's babyface years I thought he was a decent Wrestler, I definitely seen worse...
@JDfromNY at the rate this world is going we won't be able to call heels .. heels any longer .. or good vs bad .. SAWFT
JD, I can't even believe this is a topic for pro wrestling??? This is total normal behavior for wrestling .. has been and should always be.
Eva Marie got worse reactions than this when she was in WWE, and no one had a problem with it. A few boos ain't gonna harm her. If/when she gets better, this will all be a flash in the pan
Besides, it's not like she was getting heckled or misogynistic slurs. Then this would actually be a problem.
Eva Marie was an arrogant bitch and most other wrestlers and fans did not like her.
Big difference. Not to mention Eva's character was never presented as a babyface.
Roman had an entire crowd chanting "FUCK YOU ROMAN" Roman didn't cry about it on social media, he was a pro's pro and he rolled with it and hell he seemed to get a kick out of it, like "oh yeah, I'm over"
@@chadadams6052 Speaking of Roman, the night after WM 33, he was grinning ear to ear at the vitriolic reaction he was getting to the point that he muttered off mic 'I got you all in the palm of my hands'.
I don't know what the big deal is, but I've heard WAY WORSE than what that fan said to Maxxine.
If the wrestlers and the "white knights" can't handle that, then I know that they're not ready for the Philly fans getting out of pocket at WrestleMania.
I feel bad for her because she isn’t even the one who is complaining about the fans, other people are speaking up for her and ‘defending’ her when for all we know she’s taking it on the chin…
The supreme test for any wrestler to know if their made for the business is to face the philly fans
Bro - when people mentioned this I thought it was something a lot worse like calling her a demeaning name - but saying “you suck! Don’t come back!” Isn’t even that bad. It’s standard wrestling fan banter. People are soft as hell nowadays - wrestlers would get assaulted by fans back in the day and get shit thrown at them
The world is ridiculously soft for the past 7 years. We aren't allowed to say or do anything that is deemed wrong by the higher ups. So unfair
Blame the feminism, covid 19 and blm agendas. If you know you know. If you don't know then you will question why I am saying that
Well said JD I remember the Roman hate after the Undertaker match. Felt so sorry for him. Roman just sucked it up and moved on. Thats what Roman does! Even now from some sections the Roman hate. Romans a classy guy rises above it all!
Some people are jerks, but why did wrestlers ALWAYS want reactions, positive or negative, as long ss they're reacting to you. Now the wrong reactions are bad? She's playing a character.
LMAO glad JD covered this ridiculous story Maxine dupri just isn't that good in-ring rhea Ripley was way out of line by calling out fans for booing maxxine people have the right to boo and cheer who they want unless if it goes too far maxxine should be in the performance center training see that's why we haven't seen jade Cargill wrestling outside of that royal rumble appearance in the women's royal rumble match.
I thought Zelina’s statement was way worse, Becky and rhea’s came off as supporting their colleague but Zelina’s was just really weird like it came off in a really weird way
@harlster3373 i absolutely agree.
I remember John cena got booed at one night stand 2006 there was a poster said die cena die this is not surprising some people just can't take that
@@harlster3373 Rhea literally said "I really wish that some of you got booed and ridiculed in the public eye while being new at your job." funny this came up almost a week after the whole chris stuckman situation.
to explain, chris stuckman is a youtuber who reviews movies. a few days ago, chris released a 10+ minute vid about how he wont be properly reviewing "madame webb" and gave all these excuses as to why and talked about how you should be negative about a movie because people worked hard on it.

I actually stopped watching wrestling when I realized how hypocritical the overall fandom was. The tipping point for me was when in the 2017 Royal Rumble Roman Reigns entered at #30 & most of the wrestling fandom (rightly so) lost their minds. Then in 2019 the WWE basically did the exact same thing with Becky Lynch and...well...it was okay. I stopped watching wrestling shortly after that because I didn't want to be a wrestling fan anymore.
I just find it amusing that Maxxine Dupri gets more TV time than Jade Cargill.🤣
I fell off of wrestling. I came back in 2017 and I stopped watching wrestler ever since cm punk was acting like a child in AEW. Now I haven't watched wrestling in 5 months.

This is how I feel when I try to watch WWE it's so fake and phony aew on the other hand looks more realistic
JD benches and minimizes chat when criticism rolls in 😂 its a bloodbath in chat every episode
It would seem most of these situations have been around female wrestlers. Had it been a male wrestler nobody would say anything about it cause as men we'd shrug it off but women are emotional creatures and once they get hit with negativity they cry their tears out and a bunch of other women would start defending them. This whole gender thing needs to stop when it comes to sports, if you suck then work on improving.
Real answer are "Simps" you'd never hear the same social media outrage for Nia Jax.
Right!
So Maxxine co-workers are simps ?? It was her fellow wrestlers who sparked the outrage.
So understand the whole story before posting up nonsense. And of course Nia would not get that.
She is absolute trash as a performer and actually injured people, jeopardizing their careers. Maxxine has not done that.
@@KingOfCoolness Most of the women roster is highly feministic, JD once said on Twitter "God, not again" to Marina Shafir vs Jade Cargill match and was attacked verbally by Britt Baker and everyone else all for what ? it turned out to be a 3 minutes match. Like seriously, this is why the wrestling fan community gets such a lousy rap.
Too many of you have such neanderthal mentalities, is damn near insufferable.
Wrestlers defending wrestlers is what happens quite often, sometimes its a big deal, sometimes not.
Only because this particular story started floating around too often on X did it become a talking point.
It ultimately has little to do with sensitivity and everything to do with different points of view.
They felt like Maxxine was being harshly attacked, so they spoke out and obviously some people thought otherwise.
But trying to paint everything, everyone with some broad brush is pure craziness.

If anything blame WWE for putting her in a position that she clearly isn't ready for, I don't blame Maxxine here, hopefully she can get better and hopefully she just lets it roll off her back
If that was OTIS nobody would bat an eye.
Her in-ring performance could potentially injure their favorite women’s superstar. People never thought of that possibility, apparently. I do hope she works her ass off, and can say “how do you like me, now?” Loved the comparison to Roman’s Raw after mania appearance. As always, good insight and opinion.
Her character is very likeable, I don't think anyone really hates her. We just all want her to get better. She doesn't need to be a work horse, her personality will always keep her over. Hopefully this helps her to double down harder
Maxine is CAKE… the only reason she’s out there in the first place.. if WWE gave two shits about Maxine. She’d be getting treated like Jade. Not debatable
What time period are we living in where fans are not allowed to chant you suck or booing at a wrestler after they paid for a ticket? Instead of Rhea Ripley, Zelina Vega and the rest defending maxxine they should get her to do better as a wrestler.🙄 Hell why are they even pro wrestlers if they think this is a problem as if this hasn’t happened before in decades. The Undertaker is right, WWE truly IS soft
I saw a bag of beer thrown at Macho Man once during a house show I attended and hit him in the square in the head and everyone cheered. I also saw a guy right next to me throw a beer at Mankind's face as he was coming out. I didn't see or hear any sympathy for them.
You forgot to mention that in those days wrestlers had the safety of knowing that if they got heckled or stuff thrown at them they were able to return receipts back to those fans and everything would be ok, and if it escalated by any reason someone would get their ass kicked and go home. If you say today's wrestlers are soft you also have to be fair and admit today's audiences are even softer because any returned receipts are often met now with threats of legal actions or authorities being involved. Modern day America is lawsuit happy.
@@arnoldvelasquez6473Yea I agree. These audience and fans reactions over this silliness (or any type of "controversy") is just something I nod my head to.
I'm a firm believer in giving the performer nothing or walking out being more effective forms of fan rejection. That being said booing comes with the territory so it is what it is. WWE's booking pattern set Maxxine up for failure and there's nothing the women's lockerroom can say to the fans to change that fact. If they want to help, the "good hands" in there should call the office and offer themselves for more house show and sparring matches with her. If the issue is truly with Maxxine then turn her back into a valet or let her go. It doesn't have to be this complicated.
No one got it like cena, orton and reigns, what did they do? They dramatically improved their craft. This is why no one takes womens wrestling seriously. Also, remember, die rocky die? Yea, he went on to become the greatest of all time.
To be fair. And im not trying to make excuses for Maxine. But She got brought up to main roster Way way way way too soon. With no experience whatsoever managing a Jobber group named the Maximum male models and Max dupri AKA La knight Not to mention there are Multiple women on SD Raw and NXT who are way better waiting for a Main roster callup. If anything Maxine is better off as a manager but as a wrestler. No thanks..
the consumer paid hard earned money, you have a right to voice your opinion that's life
Absolutely spot on, I totally respect an honest point of view that's unfiltered and truthful, i wasn't sure about your loud rants, but i understand the passion, that's why i just subscribed to your channel✌
That’s just a problem with society in general nowadays, it’s just catching up to wrestling, everyone has to be offended on others behalf, nothing wrong with Maxine being just a manager but the same people offended on her behalf because she got booed for not being able to wrestle would be the same ones complaining that she’s only there for eye candy
People need to grow a pair fuck me how week and soft humans are these days crazy
Didn’t even mention how for years Eva marie got hate for being trash as well no one came and aided her
Wrestling fans are so soft... If she sucks, she sucks. Simple.
If she's not able to perform in the ring, don't put her in the ring in a live event. WWE is the top of the wrestling food chain, and people expect the wrestlers to be able to execute their moves. She needs to work at the Performance Center. Also, wrestlers are always going to get booed. It's just a part of wrestling
Nobody should be mad at fans for speaking their minds, Maxine just isn't that good, and she's not gonna get better if she's wrestling Nia at house show's,send her to developmental
Crazy how this is what the house shows are for to gauge the audience to see what works and what doesn’t obviously what ever they are trying to do with her isn’t working
This is honestly more of a structural problem. Wrestlers have to wrestle in front of crowds when they're learning. Because the crowd reaction has so much to do or should when it's done correctly with professional wrestling they need to learn to change what they're doing based on how the crowd is acting. But WWE wrestlers coming up have very little opportunity to do so which is why it's such a shame the territorial system has died
I agree 100%. Today people are so touchy about things.
She has to realize thr really world isn't always nice to people you have to become tough
Yep the Booker of the Year fucked up...... again.
It’s a shame the professionals can’t be professionals.
Great points from JD.
Got to admit when I saw it I actually also sort of felt bad for her also so I am guilty of that too.
But let’s be honest -
It’s probably because she is a girl.
Sad but true.
If this were a male wrestler pretty sure no one would say a thing or even notice it.
(I’m a Dad of girls so I’m sure that is a factor too)
I bet this happens at every wrestling show at every promotion in the world - every single night.
And it’s just part of putting yourself out there on the stage in a show - so no big deal.
But because it’s social media it blows up and does become a big deal.
And when you think about it with the examples you pointed out - it really is ridiculous that it blew up like it did.
It’s just fans watching entertainment cheering booing and yelling like they do at absolutely every other piece of entertainment they spend their hard earned money on.
FACTS. LIBERALS AND LEFTISTS WONT UNDERSTAND YOUR COMMENT AND WILL CRY AND TELL YOU TO TAKE IT DOWN ROFL
I see it more like this : either this reaction will push her to be better or it will break her. Remember when the Rock debuted or when Roman Reigns was slated to be the next face of the company? Both men were booed out the building. And both men admitted that it affected them emotionally. But Because of that reception, the Rock became Hollywood Rock and Reigns, after many years, became the Tribal Chief.
The only reason why ppl are mad is because the shoe fits. We know she’s working on it but the criticism isn’t unwarranted.
I would agree that we should take it easier on the ladies... she is learning on the job but then that would discredit the name of equality that keeps getting thrown in everybody's face!
Softness today isn't just a wrestling problem.. this is a generational problem across every sport & just Society in general... particularly with the men!
The only rebuttal I'll give is Maxine is not an experienced professional like the other examples that were used with the men! So consideration for her could be granted in that case!
The show must always goes on. It cant get better without any criticism.
I respect the Young Bucks more after seeing this unfold
This is what happens when Triple h book a wrestler like maxxine who is not even ready to perform especially after what happened at the Royal Rumble with Bayley. Maybe Tiffany Stratton can give her some pointers and she been training for 3 years.
Getting a reaction is a good thing
Bro if you paying your money u can be a damn fan. Forget wrestling the whole world has gone soft. The whole world has gone downhill in their feeling all on the social media machine. Man that’s wild how people can NOW tell u how to feel about something you paid money for sad
This silly to me if I am PAYING MY MONEY to see a show whatever it is I want to see the BEST or at least close to it as possible.
I don't pay tickets for a wrestling show to see you learn, develop or "Get better" if thats the case stay in the pc until you do.
This new generation of wrestling fans are absolutely fragile then ever, they think they know the wrestling bussiness well just because they're sitting behind a keyboard. they don't know when it's a wok or a shoot, example they said that JD got work with the Rock and Cody Rhodes situation.
I agree with JD🔥🔥🔥 100 facts people don't know how to take criticism anymore
I agree as long as criticism is truly performance related and not vile personal insults.
So there is a difference that folks need to be mindful of , but otherwise, yeah its fair game.
It's almost always the women with this nauseating support each other bullshit. I get the support but before Nia left how many women thought she was the shits in the ring but kept it to themselves? how many women thought Ronda was terrible before she bitched and moaned? Always tell the truth, never sugar coat anything!
