Also, a major name in the WWE Raw Women's Division seriously injured, and another major free agent for WWE has a contract up with rumors that she could be looking to jump shit as well.

Just a couple of years ago, he was praising AEW up and down, and with good reason. Now, it's like the two promotions are in a role reverseal of sorts.
It is crazy to think that all this flipped. Wonder if it’ll flip again in the future, or stay like this till AEW dies or another company rises.

@@jkakaqwI think the funniest part is guys like Cornette predicted exactly what would happen, but people dismissed him as a “hater”. He said someone who’s never been in the business couldn’t run a successful wrestling company for a long period of time unless they surround themselves with folks who’ve been successful at all aspects of the business before. A lot of the people who said “it’s easy to start good angles & keep the fans interested in the beginning, but the real challenge comes when you have to keep that interest year on & year out” but they were just labeled “wwe fanatics”.
If Tony Kahn doesn’t want Ricky Starks let him go. Give him go. Give him a non compete so he can have time off.

There needs to be more focus on Anthem Sports and Entertainment's Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling and Billy Corgan's National Wrestling Alliance (NWA).
@Mr.Majestic77 I am all for spreading the wealth, but what has TNA and NWA done to say, "we're not so bad either!" They need to get their shit together first. Still mad at TNA about Scott D'Amore.
Not to mention, if AEW is not careful the promotion will be nothing more than a feeder to WWE, a pit stop to NXT before going to the main roster, and a place WWE stars can go when creative has nothing for them/or do things they weren't allowed to do in WWE.
There are also other talent in AEW being ignored or seldom used that the company doesn't want ending up in WWE, but I'll stop there.
Honestly I would start watching NXT if they picked up Ricky even tho I would want him on the main roster sooner than later he has tons of potential

Tony Khan is terrible when it comes to capitalizing on a potential star. He dropped the ball with Wardlow, he dropped the ball with FTR, he dropped the ball with Mark Briscoe, he’s currently dropping the ball with Swerve, and now he’s completely dropped the ball with Ricky Starks.

When are people going to realize that if you're not in the room, you don't know what is going on. Why is Miro not on TV, well he was going through a divorce. Why is Ricky not on tv? If you're Tony Khan, would you invest TV time in a wrestler who he probably already knows will go to WWE when his contract is up? Build him up even more and then see him on WWE TV? We don't know the reason why so speculation is not truth!
So not only Swerve strictland is being treated like a transitional champion by not being in the main event of dynamite but now Ricky starks is just an afterthought until he leaves AEW while he still promote the elite and Jack perry on tv😂😂.

Starks has a great name, AEW doesn't own his name, so he can keep it and use in WWE.
TK probably was pissed off when he heard Ricky Starks attended WM40 event to show support for Cody and Jade. Ricky last time attended the Royal Rumble 2023 event. There were rumors of him checking out the WWE PC. TK probably feared Ricky is WWE bound. More importantly, Ricky Starks was a CM Punk guy. Probably the Bucks convince TK not to use him anymore.

I loved Ricky in the NWA. Had the pandemic not hit, Ricky would've champion. Ricky will be used and grow wherever he goes.
I miss the days when JD just wasn’t going out of his way to just shit on AEW regularly. AEW is nowhere near as bad as he makes it out to be and is still light years better than the first 18 months back when they had Cody/Brock vs QT/Aaron Solow and crap like that.
And as a guy who sat through Raw, NXT, and Dynamite, last night’s Dynamite was collectively better than both shows other than the total 30 mins of Drew/Punk and Gunther giving Kofi’s chest a reason to look like that

But Cody put together stories that paid off the Year he left & Wardlow was One.. Ricky starks another.. we didn't really Care about Wardlow. However mjF having The Cody feud and Wardlow simmering..
The huge fued with punk witch is #1 & #2 top captivating stories along with the Rhodes story.. at double or nothing #1;still get chills how Cody defined him and Dustin.. excellent.. it had 10% of wwe vet's over 50s.
About 20% of 35-50 mix companies..not just WWE.. abd guys in there 20s we knew nothing about..
That kept it fresh and the over 50s feuded ea other or lead stables told stories.. then it just stopped..

There is no doubt anymore Ricky Starks is definitely going to WWE there is nothing for him to do in AEW but WWE is going to do something that Tony Kahn could not do and that is make Ricky starks into a star whether he starts on NXT or he goes straight to the main roster this is going to be an interesting journey for Ricky starks and we are all going in for the ride.🤔

I wish Asuka/Kana the best in her recovery from injury. The fact that Tony Khan features ROH people like Shane Taylor, Lee Moriarty, Brian Keith, the stupid titles, and any wrestler who they welcome from AAA, CMLL, or NJPW than most of their OWN ROSTER leaves me disappointed. 😮💨

wwe's women's division is a completely lost cause. don't matter who you have there it isn't getting better and i don't see it getting any better. its the same fucking women as champion . jade cargill still hasn't proven she belongs in the ring and is boring on the mic. its always becky, charlotte or bianca. i like rhea ripley but she's out with injury and i'm an asuka fan but wwe still completely misuses her and has no clue what to do with her.
Tony has a major problem with creating AND maintaining new, homegrown stars. Starks, Wardlow, Wheeler Yuta, and Kris Statlander were all hot at one point and now feel irrelevant. I'll add Daniel Garcia to the list as well. Creative is direly handicapping the product's quality

I know Natalya isn’t what most of us want to see in ring but what she knows between the ropes & the many eras she’s experienced, that’s something most women don’t have and can share to the youth. Plus just like you mentioned with TJ being a producer; if she wants to and ends up producing similarly acclaimed matches like him the division would be better for it regardless of brand she’s on

Dividing the roster between Dynamite and Collision would solve most of these problems. Ricky Starks could have been the main star in Collision. Same thing goes with Wardlow, Miro etc

I disagree with one point. Jade in WWE and jade in AEW are booked similarly. Jade doesn't know how to wrestle and she only looks good. Both of the companies put belt on her asap and booked her as a dominating force. But i don't like her in ring skills.
Booking makes the difference in a worker like Jade. She can work in a presentation like Nash or Goldberg. Nash was a good worker, with a limited moveset. Goldberg was a gimmick and more limited than Nash. But the proper presentation made Goldberg which will be the same for Jade and if she has it in her to do she can learn to work better as she goes the more matches she has. AEW just didn't know how to build her correctly. They just booked her and put her in matches booked to win and mimic Goldberg in squash matches. And what WWE is doing is similar only her presentation is better which is the biggest difference. The Gimmick makes all the difference. Because fans loved Goldberg for a long time despite him mostly being a bad wrestler. But his gimmick and presentation were awesome and made him a star. Jade is only limited by her own ability to learn because the chance to do so is there in WWE. Experience can add to her skill set in time. time will tell on her ring work.
