Perhaps the most beautiful adagio of all of Mozart’s 27 piano concerti. None of his works ever get old what a gift from God he was and those who master his marvel continue to be.

Mozart's early works have a freshness and originality that is a delight. It's easy to forget that this is young person's music. It's that and a facet of the 18th century brought back to us in the 21st century.

Alexandre Tharaud in unity with the orchestra, filled the space with radiant music, in which virtuosity and melody merged. Great value in how the PIANIST carefully preserved the style of a brilliant composer.

Such a delightful interpretation of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Piano concerto No. 9, once was mentioned as “ one of the greatest wonders of the world”.

We seem to be in a new age of ridiculous conducting gestures. Strangely it is mostly over indulged males. At least if the conductor loses his position he can work as a fill in at Beaurepair Tyer outlets enticing customers to stop! Having said that the pianist and orchestra a fabulous. Totally love the fact that pianists are now moving away from memory. I’m sure it makes the performance less stressed for the pianist. The time taken to learn one concerto they can now have several ready for performance with more highly skilled performers on the concert circuit.
