Two young Hungarian admirers of the Jussen brothers - Adam and Mate Balogh, aged 12 and 11 respectively, will be playing this piece in a charity concert for Save the Children in Zurich on 5th November. It's so encouraging to see how the Jussens are inspiring young people and how those young people are in turn doing their bit to make the world a better place. Bravo on both counts.
We must also thank the manufacturers of musical instruments, notice how amazing and wonderful instruments they play. Listen to that amazing sound, their purity, accuracy .... And also to the technicians, for their excellent work. Listen to the integrity of the orchestra, its beautiful color, yet beautifully separated sections of instruments, clear, brilliant. Mr. Mozart would certainly be thrilled and captivated with the beauty, elegance and brilliance of his work today. Thank you Mr. Mozart !!!
One brain and one heart in two persons ,perfect fusion and symbiosis of two superb musicians and brothers! What a chance we have listening to these two angels!
The uncanny, totally intimate oneness of playing makes these two (marvelously beautiful) brothers distinct from any other ordinary piano duo playing today. I am exhilarated and moved every time I hear them play!
Perhaps one should give some precisions: "In 1776, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart composed three piano concertos, one of which was the Concerto for three pianos and orchestra in F major, No. 7, K. 242. He originally finished it in February 1776 for three pianos; however, when he eventually recomposed it for himself and another pianist in 1780 in Salzburg, he rearranged it for two pianos, and that is how the piece is often performed today. The concerto is often nicknamed "Lodron" because it was commissioned by Countess Antonia Lodron to be played with her two daughters Aloysia and Giuseppa. The third piano part, intended for the younger daughter, is more moderate in its technical demands." (source Wikipedia). The authentic piano for 2 pianos if one could say so is the concerto for 2 pianos n° 10 KV 365 composed in 1779 for his sister Nannerl and himself
Thank you Arthur, thank you Lucas. Your interpretation has given me so much joy! This concerto is pure joy. I've listened to your rendition so many times, and I just can't get enough of the recording. Your communication and musicianship are amazing. Lightness, tenderness, energy, brilliance! Please come to South Africa.
Brilliant. In der Abstimmung der beiden differenzierten Piani unerreicht. Meisterhaft. Danke. Die Jussen kommen!!
Wow! I am almost even more impressed by the very warm, subtle and precise sound of the orchestra as by the dito playing of Mr. and. Mr. Jussen. This is a very crispy and tasteful Mozart. Thank you all so much!
Very much European fresh young looking brothers performing beautifully and keeps perfect harmony together , I think it's great work and exceptionally talented !!!!! Sounds are fresh clean cut tones!!!!!!!!!!!
Everything I needed to say has been said in these youtube comments!! BROTHERS AMAZING...they ROCK literally...I wish they were my kids...CONGRATULATIONS TO THEIR PARENTS, WOW!!
Wonderfully played excellent audio visual. You may not consider this to be a problem, but there is a dearth of well played, well recorded videos of the Rachmaninov sonata for 2 pianos on youtube. I'm certain that he had the extremely fine interpretive skills of the Jussen brothers in mind when he wrote the piece. Thanks for this upload, very enjoyable
Nicely played. Very interesting. I did not know that this version for two pianos existed of this concerto originally written for three pianos and orchestra.
A convert on the first listen! Elation and wonder how this piano concerto could have been missed while familiarity with the other 24 was entertained for so long?
I am must affectionate to this concerto that the great Mozart dedicated to the princesse Lodron,a great fan and supporter of Amade. The pianist is so excellent in his performance and shows the same passion of Mozart while writing this concerto for his Musa Princesse Antonia Lodron

We are grateful for gorgeous music by Mozart and equally grateful for the pianists, Lucas and Arthur Jussen, for their beautiful rendition.
If there is one reason to be alive than it is to be able to listen to the wonderfull music.

What talent in these 2 brothers. Thanks to the nice Dutch people for giving another great gift to the world.
indeed. Having been right here in Lisbon studding for a while under the wing of master pianist Maria Joao Pires
I suspect this is exactly how Mozart heard this concerto in his head as he wrote it - perfection.

The joy of playing from those brothers, fantastic, how they play the last part !
Sparkling performance...Arthur's fingers appear to barely gloss over the keys...Lucas' 'spidey' fingers scramble

The slow movement weightless transport in a sky of rainbow-dappled clouds. 🌈

Mozart's piano concerto No 9 was the turning point of boy to man composer, but No. 7 challenged with two pianos to cover his unlimited creativities.
Frank Soh And No 9 is my absolute favorite!!
