Stage version of Proud Mary. The second half will blow your mind. John Fogerty wrote and recorded the song originally but he said nobody could do it like Tina and her version is his favorite of all the recordings of it.
I cannot say enough positive things about Tina Turner. She is an absolute legend, a star, a goddess. She deserves every accolade that she's ever received and a thousand more beyond that. She is... simply the best.
Tina was special......RIP. I highly recommend her biopic "WHAT'S LOVE GOT TO DO WITH IT"....Angela bassett and Lawrence Fishburn give wonderful performances as the main characters!
This was a great concert. Excellent musicians and dancers. You should watch the entire concert! It’s about 2hrs This was Wembley 2000. The backup singers were magnificent talents in their own right. Lisa Fischer and Stacy Campbell! By the way, Tina, still dancing in heels was 61 years old when she performed at this concert! Just Amazing woman! I saw her in concert in 1997, Bryce Jordan Center, Penn State University
Tina Turner...She had so many affectionate names from her fans that it's impossible to list them all...The living legend...A concentrated load of dynamite on two legs...The Titan... .stage tornado.... R.i.p. Tina....We miss you more every day
I was stationed in Germany in 1989-1991. A German guy I knew just loved Tina Turner. He just went on and on about Tina Turner. It was so funny. I gave him the Private Dancer CD and he just kept saying I love Tina Turner. LOL - I still laugh at how he would say I love Tina Turner. He meant it. LOL Thanks for the video ladies, and Chad. Enjoy the Journey - Cheers
Tina Turner the Queen of rock 'N' Roll the best of the best in my book. As a treat find and react the duet Tina did With Bryan Adams. You won't be sorry!
As has been mentioned Tina and her amazing dancers absolutely kill proud mary you guys have to watch that even if you dont air a reaction her whole team band as well pulled off a top spectical loved it ❤
RIP Tina 24th May 2023 🕊 Tina came to Australia and sang a version of this same song with Australian legend, Jimmy Barnes. It was a promotion for the NRL (National Rugby League). It is just awesome, and worth checking it out. Donna may love it ❤ This is from Jimmy’s official page - ua-cam.com/video/cadTFaxNFQw/v-deo.htmlsi=KLCrZPfzVKjwn0El
WHOA, Tina Turner. she absolutely R O C K E D - holy smokes ! !. She was knockin' them dead into her 70s. She was force and a beast in the very best possible way. Anytime you see her live on stage you stop and watch. Very few have I respected more. She survived abuse from her a-hole husband Ike Turner, left him in her dust and became a legend. Thanks for the groves Tina - Rest In Peace. "We Don't Need Another Hero" what an incredible song.
Queen of soul. Wow I haven`t seen this live version before, love it. But you`ll also have to show Donna the duet version with Jimmy Barnes, they sound amazing together. I think she would love it. 👍😄
Her shows were sooo uplifting. I've been to many concerts... probably over 300 live shows in my life... but the three times I saw Tina live were the three best concert experiences of my life. Nothing else like it❤ Check out "Steamy Windows" live from barcelona 1990. That was the first concert tour of hers that I attended. Other people have suggested "Proud Mary" from this Wembly concert but "I Heard it Through the Grapevine" and "Nutbush City Limits"(about her home town) are also major bangers from this show.
Lulu 'n Chad..Best double act since Laurel & Hardy😅 "Did you wear leather pants?😅😅😅. I saw Tina live in the 90's at Gateshead Stadium in the North East of England. A one woman whirlwind 35,000 in the crowd. It was AWESOME. I've always wanted to play SAX it's an instrument that gives me goosebumps! Thanks❤
If you want to early Tina, look for anything by Ike and Tina Turner. Tina Turner didn't start her solo career until she was 42. After she divorced Ike.
This is actually a cover of the original by Bonnie Tyler who recorded it a year prior in 1988 (Tina released it in 1989). But needless to say Tina took it and it EXPLODED worldwide going double platinum
Oh wow, if you've not seen her live performamces over the years prepare for dynamite 💣 Suggestions: Proud Mary Ed Sullivan show in the early 70s. Honky Tonk Woman (Nice n Rough show 1981 - after she left Ike and before she hit big as a solo). It's only love live 1985 Nutbush live wembley 2000
Being as how Donna loves Jimmy Barnes, Tina Turner's version of Simply The Best you should react to is her duet with a young Jimmy Barnes on Simply The Best.
Amazing version of "Proud Mary (Live from Arnhem, Netherlands)" ua-cam.com/video/TTfYnRQgKgY/v-deo.html (this is the live performance 2009 w-her great dancers).
This is actually not the original version. Bonnie Tyler did it the year prior (1988). I actually like that version better, although this one is killer as well.
Seen as you have touched that huge concert she did and what you all were saying about her well - to see the ultimate of her physicality even at that age I strongly suggest do the Proud Mary one from that same show, that will all be an experience for you all in itself!!
Tina Turner is the very Best......
Stage version of Proud Mary. The second half will blow your mind. John Fogerty wrote and recorded the song originally but he said nobody could do it like Tina and her version is his favorite of all the recordings of it.
Stage version of Proud Mary from this concert matter fact 👍🏻

This was at Wembley Stadium in London, on 15th or 16th July 2000. There were approximately 80,000 people there each day. I know because I was there 🙂

SIMPLY THE BEST! 🔥
If you want to early Tina, look for anything by Ike and Tina Turner. Tina Turner didn't start her solo career until she was 42. After she divorced Ike.
Tina had what a whole lot of young men said that she has the best pair of leg's in the music business.
IT IS THE RANGERS FOOTBALL CLUB ANTHEM GLOSGOW SCOTLAND

Wow. Didn't know that. Bonnie had an awesome voice. Gotta find that. Thanks.
Bonnie didn't write it,,so It doesn't matter
And Tina's Version was way better
And Tina's Version is way better!!!
Tina Turner gains my respect, not only because she’s a legendary entertainer, she also endured an abusive mate
Easily my favourite Tina Turner song. Mainly because it's the song that plays in the stadium as my favourite football team walks onto the pitch 😁👍
Love you guys. Always entertaining and down to earth.
Thanks
Thanks guys. I think 💭 I’m older than your Dad & Mom, I’ll be 70 in July. I’m the one that keeps requesting Shinedown. 💯🔥🔥🔥💯💯
Ya gotta check out Tina Turner and Jimmy Barnes sing ' Simply The Best ' their voices compliment each other it's amazing.
i can't stand this with Jimmy better version without Jimmy
Saw her in a much smaller venue than this but it didn’t seem to make her any difference because she gave it her all.
It's simply the best time to hear Hocus Pocus by Focus!!
Oh wow, if you've not seen her live performamces over the years prepare for dynamite 💣 Suggestions:
Proud Mary Ed Sullivan show in the early 70s.
Honky Tonk Woman (Nice n Rough show 1981 - after she left Ike and before she hit big as a solo).
It's only love live 1985
Nutbush live wembley 2000
Saw her in a small club in Tempe, Arizona not long after she broke up from Ike. Should've taken pictures 😪.
The best legs in rock n' roll.
Being as how Donna loves Jimmy Barnes, Tina Turner's version of Simply The Best you should react to is her duet with a young Jimmy Barnes on Simply The Best.

Lulu - You're acting on this website, so you can now wear leather, ok. Permission granted. ❤
Lol
Almost everyone in Europe love Tina...... She sold out all her concerts
That's not not Grandma!!!
As you probably know, the song is titled The Best. Why did you post this twice?
Seen as you have touched that huge concert she did and what you all were saying about her well - to see the ultimate of her physicality even at that age I strongly suggest do the Proud Mary one from that same show, that will all be an experience for you all in itself!!
