  • $25 Amazon HammerShot: amzn.to/2xk6vEt
    One with a silencer and trigger: amzn.to/2Oq1m52
    I cover a lot more than just how to use it. Go to 6:25 to skip to the demo.
    There are many options and brands but I don't use it that often so the $25 is just fine for me. If you live in Australia, you need to have this tool registered and a license plus training to use it. I'm curious what other countries regulations are.
    22 cal loads: amzn.to/2MzwjSJ
    Coated Pins: amzn.to/2xgpZus
    This tool is used most often to attach wood to concrete or wood to steel but it can be used with other materials. There are many fasteners of various sizes and shapes. Check out the store display to see more. By the way, if you are curious as to the holding strength, good luck getting these nails out of concrete, it's possible but man it's not easy! These are permanent fasteners. Easier to grind it off than pull it out.

      I am not scolding you for doing this put please do not use wd40 as a lubricant spray..it is alcohol based spray and will dry up and cause your tool to seize over time. It is meant to loosen seized tools/bolts and then apply a lubricant with a silicone base

    I don't recall anymore what caused my father to buy a model similar to this one in the mid-80's. Still works though it's been deep in a box for some decades and needs a good tear down. Even so, I used it earlier today! Maybe after I show it some love it will fully drive with the yellow loads. No matter what, this is so much cheaper and faster than using a hammer drill and tapcons. I really hate them.

      @phrostytwitch1603 3 роки тому +13

      If it was fully auto, i don't believe you would need a bump stock, as the bump stock is meant to make a semi-auto weapon "automatic"?

    • @themexicansensation2698
      @themexicansensation2698 3 роки тому +5

      Phrosty Twitch nope bump stocks don’t make semi automatic weapons automatic bc you still have to press the trigger every time you want to shoot it it basically just makes you shot very fast. If you only had to press the trigger once to shoot multiple then yes it would be automatic.

    Quick question. What do you think of the MAXtools high pressure nail gun? Would you make the switch if it meant saving time and money? 200-500psi. Can drive nails up to 5.5inches into steel or concrete. The full system with the high pressure gun and compressor is about $2k last i checked. The main benifit over a ramset is it is continuous. No need to reload on every single nail. No need to buy proprietary blanks and nails.
    It seems overall a better system.
    What are your thoughts?

I forgot to call the local police to alert them that I was going to be using a Ramset. My neighbor had identified a suspect she saw shooting a gun. She got egg on her face when it was just me using the Ramset. I apologized to her as I didn’t inform her that I would be using a Ramset. I didn’t use it further, I just used a masonary drill and made holes for concrete anchors which worked out well.
