Stevie has never forgiven him for that song. It was always looked upon that Lindsay would never get over the breakup. He did but it took forever. When you see Stevie, it makes you wonder whether she has even though she was the one to break it. There's still something there.

However she still looked at him like a genius for being a musician and song writer . She went on to say regardless of how I feel about him I can’t imagine anyone else writing songs for me . They really didn't have pain here they were so freaking high on cocaine and drinking heavily that there is no way to explain how they were really feeling when recording this in the studio. It wasn't until later on when Stevie wrote a few more of her songs like silver springs etc that the pain was there and then when Lindsay threw the guitar at her on stage that was not cool either tell us when the true drama really started and she was just stopping all the cocaine use little late but she did it she kicked it. She is a beautiful soul inside and out she is the queen of Rock Steph is a true and loyal friend!!!!😊 Don't always believe what you read etcetera and don't judge people by their faces because you really don't know what they're thinking here
I saw a clip once of Mick Fleetwood listening to and talking about some of the songs on this album, and at one point (I forget on which specific song) he gets this look of amazement on his face and says something like, "Listen to him. He's like a whole orchestra back there!" about the man he played with for many decades. No weak links in this band.

that awkward moment when you're singing backup but deep inside you know that the song is all about you...man, I admire the professionalism of this group.
Growing up with a single mother in the seventies I was into KISS and she had Rod Stewart, Gloria Gaynor, The Eagles but most of all Fleetwood Mac Playing as I grew up.... extremely saddened about the passing of Christy McVee. A classy beautiful and talented woman.

What a treat - after 45 years of hearing this song umpteen times on the radio, I finally get to see a video of them doing it live in the same era. Such an amazing band.
Heartbroken over how their relationship turned out. They were inseparable and knew each other since they were young and my gosh you can feel their chemistry and the intensity through all their performances. The way Stevie looks at Lindsey breaks my heart. Her eyes looks so teary imma go cry.....
I never noticed that from 2:25 every time Lindsey tries to sing "you can go your own way" Stevie & Christine sing "you can call it another lonely day" and he has to go along with it.
You are correct, when Stevie turned back to Christie, she smiled and started taking over everytime Lyndsay tried saying you can go your own way.

The pain is sooo blatantly obvious..but it did produce this Classic.
They really didn't have pain here they were so freaking high on cocaine and drinking heavily that there is no way to explain how they were really feeling when recording this in the studio. It wasn't until later on when Stevie wrote a few more of her songs like silver springs etc that the pain was there and then when Lindsay threw the guitar at her on stage that was not cool either tell us when the true drama really started and she was just stopping all the cocaine use little late but she did it she kicked it. She is a beautiful soul inside and out she is the queen of Rock Steph is a true and loyal friend!!!!😊 Don't always believe what you read etcetera and don't judge people by their faces because you really don't know what they're thinking here

I saw a clip once of Mick Fleetwood listening to and talking about some of the songs on this album, and at one point (I forget on which specific song) he gets this look of amazement on his face and says something like, "Listen to him. He's like a whole orchestra back there!" about the man he played with for many decades.

Re-watching some of these old videos, it's a reminder of how versatile they were vocally... not many groups have three first-rate singers, but Lindsey, Stevie and Christine all bring their own voices to the various songs.
