Lindsay rocking that hair! Killing it on the vocals, right next to his ex. Stevie looking good as hell and they both hated each other right here. Singing on each others songs to one another. Toxic before toxic was used to describe relationships.

Re-watching some of these old videos, it's a reminder of how versatile they were vocally... not many groups have three first-rate singers, but Lindsey, Stevie and Christine all bring their own voices to the various songs.
I saw a clip once of Mick Fleetwood listening to and talking about some of the songs on this album, and at one point (I forget on which specific song) he gets this look of amazement on his face and says something like, "Listen to him. I first saw Fleetwood Mac in Seattle. That tour was legendary. I worked at the Fun Forest and my boss rewarded our hard work by scoring a couple of festival seating tickets and giving them to my older brother and me. We each brought a stuffed penguin that they handed out at the skee ball machine. All during the concert hundreds of us through our penguins on the stage after Stevie picked the first one up and held it all during the song. The LAST time we saw them my wife of 36 years nad I took our Grandson to his very birst Rock and Roll concert at the Tacoma Dome. We had close to the front seats. Close enough that on his solo on this song he is playing so fast he appears to have 8 fingers! He was impressed!
My favorite part of this performance is Stevie’s spin and grin, and then her nod at Christine to start sabotaging Lindsey by singing “you can call it another lonely day” over and over lol
This is a great example of each one of these superb musicians, whilst still showing their individual brilliance, working so well together to produce a wonderful live performance! Because as usual, Lindsey has to be the grown up :)
@@valerievanderwood7411 and you're clearly not able to be objective
@@diegoolivarez1 yeah by writing lyrics about all Stevie wanting to do is shack up with other men...really mature.
@@diegoolivarez1 yeah like that one time he slapped Stevie and tried to choke her in front of the whole band. Really mature that guy was
RIP Christine McVie, God bless, thanks for the memories.
I am sad, but you left your mark on the world Christine...a great legacy.
Re-watching some of these old videos, it's a reminder of how versatile they were vocally... not many groups have three first-rate singers, but Lindsey, Stevie and Christine all bring their own voices to the various songs.
Mick going ballistic on the drums makes me smile
Have you seen him live?? He goes animal on the drums!!
John McVie is a one-man orchestra. His bass part holds the whole song together.
huh
I saw a clip once of Mick Fleetwood listening to and talking about some of the songs on this album, and at one point (I forget on which specific song) he gets this look of amazement on his face and says something like, "Listen to him. He's like a whole orchestra back there!" about the man he played with for many decades.
No weak links in this band.
@@anthonyleecollins9319 he was speaking of John’s playing on “Go Your Own Way”. I’ll admit I kind of borrowed Mick’s quote.
At 17, I learned how to play bass by playing along with this then-new record. I consider John McVie to be my first bass teacher.
Lindsey buckingham was/is the genius behind Fleetwood Mac. The man is an amazing vocalist, guitar player and songwriter!
Bullshit
😱😱😱
Nope They we’re good. Lindsay’s guitar made them a great band. Lindsay would’ve been a nobody if Fleetwood Mac didn’t ask him to join the band
Lindsay got better with age.
Like a good wine.
@@wynterduquesne5545 art is subjective. Try that song without him. Lead vocals and lead guitar.
The meaning behind it, the writing, the talent! I wish I had lived in this era!!
It was cool my friend , best times i ever experienced
Great musical era.
Great times for sure …. I was in love with Stevie ❤
i was born 20 years too late
Oh, they were great years..such great years..
I cry whenever I watch a video of them performing this live. They are the most incredible special amazing talented artists to come together and perform in front of an audience in the most rockstar fashion while no one in the crowd knows what they were really going through with each other and within themselves in that moment. I love and appreciate each and every member of this group with my whole heart
me to , very moving for sure
It was a devastating tragedy when Peter Green fell by the wayside. But out of that fire rose this epic lineup. One of the greatest bands ever. RIP Christine.
RIP Christine. 🙏 Thank you! ❤
They really were the ultimate band
..despite the drama
..they were just outstanding together... xxx can't get enough of Fleetwood mac ❤❤❤❤❤
The pain is sooo blatantly obvious..but it did produce this Classic.
They really didn't have pain here they were so freaking high on cocaine and drinking heavily that there is no way to explain how they were really feeling when recording this in the studio. It wasn't until later on when Stevie wrote a few more of her songs like silver springs etc that the pain was there and then when Lindsay threw the guitar at her on stage that was not cool either tell us when the true drama really started and she was just stopping all the cocaine use little late but she did it she kicked it. She is a beautiful soul inside and out she is the queen of Rock Steph is a true and loyal friend!!!!😊 Don't always believe what you read etcetera and don't judge people by their faces because you really don't know what they're thinking here
This is so rare where the female hits the low note while the guy hits the high and yet it sounds so melodious
This is literally how most harmonies are written
R.I.P Christine McVie 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿. Thank you for your timeless contribution to music as a whole. You will never be forgotten ❤️
so true
Christine has gone her way and we'll keep going our own way with her voice and music. Shine!!
This is Lindsey singing
She knows she is a Goddess
A Goddess
CHRISTINE WAS A BLESSING
No best tribute to her than
....one fifth, and in composition and leadership, quite more..of Fleetwood Mac
The sadness in Stevie's eyes broke my heart 💔
Well, she does look a bit guilty here.
Stevie Nicks Is So Beautiful!...❤
@@staceychutskoff1232 yes she is... I love her beatiful Voice...
thats not sadness.. its cocaine. lol
@@daggerwulf338 don't be so careless with your words ... No one knows how she was so sad when she sang this song
What a performance, most bands came and went Fleetwood Mac endures. RIP Christie
RIP Christine McVie 😪
It was my favorite song ! 🙏
The thing that captivates me about Stevie, is that her emotions show in her eyes.
Beautiful people singing beautiful music.
This is pure art. They helped redefine the rock sound.
I see the pain in Stevie's face and tears in her eyes as she's having to sing these lyrics. 😢
@@katsully8716 how cruel of Buckingham to put her in this position.
She's just stoned 😂
She's a cheater.
@@starseed45 What are you talking about? She was the one who was toxic af. She cheated on him multiple times and he took her back. Not to mention her cocaine habit got so bad, Christine and Lindsey were left to complete the album by themselves. He had enough. That's what the "Packing up Shacking up is all you want to do" was about.
She is just Daring Him to look at her!!! She is the queen!! ❤
It's the other way around. He wrote that song about her. He had the upper hand during this time.
Probably the best song ever written. Everything works perfectly; lyrics, music, voice. Will forever be my favourite. Love the passion displayed by Lindsey here. He's a genius!
lol I’m a fan of this song. But calm down lmao
Have you ever heard Ode to Billy Joe?
Underrated bass line, crucial part of the song.
My favorite part
When music was still real and original
Most most favorite Fleetwood mac song. I love the way Mick plays the drums throughout and Lindsey's guitar solo near the end..
Stevie’s voice in those days was fabulous.. yes, stunningly attractive too, but what a voice..
Steve Clements stunning is a strong word.
Listen to Frozen love
Tresa Sandefur .. thanks, a cracking track. It’s a shame there’s not a better recording of Lola (my love) than the Alabama ‘74 copy. ua-cam.com/video/C9EYjYfbWko/v-deo.html
A terrible awful voice. 💩💩
Lindsey Buckingham sings circles around the rest of this group.
She had very distinctive voice that people like, but fundamentally Lindsey was the better singer
I’m an avid Beatle fan never bought any other artist album except the Beatles and of course Fleetwood Mac they were one of the greatest band ever.
Best Fleetwood Mac's song ever! Two young lovers who never found a way to make it all work out at the end.
And you're looking right at them in this video!
Rest in Peace Christine McVie. You will be sorely missed
Saw them on this tour in Chicago for the first time. Summer of 1977. I found the program the other day. It was a huge deal for a 12 year old girl to see Stevie!
Mick Fleetwood is one of a kind Awesome drummer! Love his intensity and vigor "Into it" facial expressions!
Totally agree! And I love those tom drops throughout the verses.
The drums in this song are superb . A very underrated musician , tbh John and Lindsey are the same .
They were all seriously great musicians.
Well check Mick....Why did you do it listen it well. Now it's Peter Greens moment btw ...R.I.P. hero he started Fleetwood Mac but didn't want his own name involved. No one is a saint. Lindsey Buckingham was and is imo great!! Peter Green....a star 💖
I think he’d still make that face on a 2/4 beat.. 🥁
Mick Fleetwood is one of the happiest looking and charismatic drummers I've ever seen. Watch something live from the last couple of years and he still is that way ...... great song btw...🤘🤘
Keith Moon
@@janice8925 Yup.That's a coke mouth if ever I've seen one...
An absolute classic! The emotion, and that unforgettable chorus- pure magic. Timeless brilliance!
Finest memories!! 🤏
I love the way life is reflected in their music, love you Lindsey ❣️
Hi Susan
😮@@Bandyz5226
Mick's mastery of offsetting the beat and driving the bus in this track is first in class.
Got to hand to him.the pain and hurt is blatant..then to sing it with her..Bravo
Stevie Nicks Gone Her Own Way...❤
Lindsay is the rocker of Fleetwood Mac this song Rocks!
Stevie! Wow. Just wow. Amazing performance. Girl can sing.
My favorite part of this performance is Stevie’s spin and grin, and then her nod at Christine to start sabotaging Lindsey by singing “you can call it another lonely day” over and over lol
I just noticed that, that's awesome
Females are meaner than men.
I love it.
cheeky
I thought he messed up there, but this is even better.
R.I.P. Christine McVie. (1943-2022). 🙏😔🌠 "You can go your own way, Songbird. But don't stop thinking about Tomorrow..."❤
YESS! 2024! FORWARD
One of the truly great rock bands of all-time! When they came on the radio it was time to turn up the volume!
RIP Christine, you will live on forever.
RIP Christine, thanks for the music.
This is a great example of each one of these superb musicians, whilst still showing their individual brilliance, working so well together to produce a wonderful live performance! I couldn’t single out any one as better than the other, but I will say that IMHO, Lindsey Buckingham IS the sound of Fleetwood Mac at their best!
Lindsay Buckingham is one Talented MoFo, Micks Drums Never Fail, McVies always on spot. Very Underrated group no matter what the song! Not the normal live version , different mixing.
gotta love how they "sabotaged" the last part where 2 go singing "you can call it another lonely day" and 1 "you can go your own way"
I noticed that too, and thought I had mis-heard the lyrics...nope, that was intentional. A swerve when no one expected it.
She will always shine💔RIP
Lindsey Buckingham was absolutely nailing those 2nd "GO YOUR OWN WAY!"
Possibly one of the greatest bands of the late 70’s Still sounds fresh 45 years on.
No doubt along with Heart snd Boston
that is the best band and singing I've ever heard it's always good to hear them again. they will never be forgotten for people like me I will always love and remember all of them! ❤❤❤😅
Coming from a broken family. This hits differently
Looking into Stevie’s eyes you can see the pain she was going thru just being there singing so close to Lindsey knowing their relationship was shattering
So crazy … Stevie keeps looking over at him … he won’t even look at her …. Classic amazing FLEETWOOD MAC!!!
I think Fleetwood Mac should be working and remastering the videos , i mean they're one of the greatest bands of all times , they'll deserve it
@B P stfu you punk bitch!
They've had numerous iterations, sadly not much at all from the early days and bad quality videos, as you say.
Love them as they are. Can't beat a little nostalgic video atmosphere with great tunes. :)
Their music is already remastered - I like that we can still see what the original performance was like all those years ago
I would have liked this comment if u learned how to write. Go back to school and learn how to make sense when you write.
Lindsey was by far the best member the band ever had... and it’s not even close.
I have only really started listening to them now. I have heard loads of songs but after seeing the live versions and finding out about them I am suprised they even made the album and managed to stay together. Also im suprised they managed to keep themselves alive too with the amount of drugs going round
