So much raw emotion in this music video, having only recently discovered the story behind the song, you can really see the lyrics play out on stage in front of you, the way he doesn't look at her once through out, and the way she keeps looking at and searching for him, the melancholic stares and sadness in her eyes when she sings "you can go your own way, you can call it another lonely day" knowing she and him/they're singing about her.

    •  Місяць тому +1

Stevie has never forgiven him for that song. It was always looked upon that Lindsay would never get over the breakup. He did but it took forever. When you see Stevie, it makes you wonder whether she has even though she was the one to break it. There's still something there.

      They both had addictions unfortunately.
But Stevie said they could never be good friends because of what happened.
She said he could be so cold hearted .
However she still looked at him like a genius for being a musician and song writer .
She went on to say regardless of how I feel about him I can’t imagine anyone else writing songs for me .
Christine mcvie continued to write songs and sing to John the base player after their divorce.
It was just something that worked for them

Still gets me that the one song you’ll commonly hear from FM on radio or tv is the positive, catchy tune that’s really a big “F you” from Lindsey to Stevie. It wasn't until later on when Stevie wrote a few more of her songs like silver springs etc that the pain was there and then when Lindsay threw the guitar at her on stage that was not cool either tell us when the true drama really started and she was just stopping all the cocaine use little late but she did it she kicked it.
