- Hey Wad Squad! Thanks so much for hanging out with me while I declutter under our kids' bathroom sink! I used some organizing bins I recently got from Target! Woop! Also - cook with me! Yay! I cook some banana bread that I got from Trader Joes -spoiler alert: not my favorite - and I also got some packages in the mail that I open with you! Yaay! Thank you so much for hanging out!

I finally redid my bathroom. Not major. But it’s a blue toilet, blue sink and blue tub. I had a pretty brown paint for the last 10 years then I went on fixer upper on Facebook and was like help!!! Without a ton of $$$. And they suggested I paint it all white, the cabinets. White curtains, took off the same mirror you have and put up a pretty white mirror from Kirkland’s on clearance $25. And man what a change! I dragged my feet for 3 years because I have 4 kids, the last 3 being boys 🙈. I have tan tile on the sink and floor: but I love it! I thought man my curtain will be yellow before I know it from boy pee. But it’s been a month and still good. I decided I wanted something nice and girly and I went with it!

I loved the organization under the sink, the bathroom is fine, and to have a cupboard under the sink. Our main bathroom is tiny. xxx

Girls bathroom : I'd embrace that teal tile and go vintage... think pinks/reds/peach colors... or go the mermaid route if the girls are into that... purple, pink & yellow playing off that teal tile which could also be a play on the water as in sea/bathtime. I'm picturing a iridescent/ombre look + 'make a splash' printable etc. The lighting situation up top would actually compliment it nicely i think!
They're totally into the mermaid stuff!! Problem is this is our guest bathroom too! lol small house problems. I still haven't done anything to it but really need to! I'm overwhelmed with everything I have to do!

Hearing you. Personally as a guest, I'd throughly enjoy the experience of a mermaid bathroom! So, you could go real simple, understated. Play off that gold & teal with one focal point. Above the toliet or towel rack. Flamingo? Cacti artwork? A few framed quotes (i buy frames at dollar store and then wait till walgreens has their frequent 8x10 photo freebie. I save images to a folder and when the deal comes i just go add one to be printed. For a DOLLA all said and done.
hahahaha I remember watching your laundry room de clutter & how u were saying you never take tags off your containers but for no reason and in this video I saw u stock up the bins without taking them off and the shelf still had it on!!! you’re hilarious Kim 😂😂😂😭

Jennifer Curtis uh totally!! The trouble with my Kim and me is she is a complete introvert and lives out of state and we rarely speak on the phone despite my efforts! 🤷🏻♀️ I’m already all up in my kids’ lives!! Haha no way I could go more than a couple of days without talking to them as they get older!
THE WADS yeah it gets beyond hard during the teen years, my sweet, loving, innocent daughter turned so grumpy and cranky and moody (and thinks everything I say and do is stupid) like overnight... I’m trying so hard to make sure we stay connected and do things together and keep our relationship strong because I can see how easy it would be to just give up since she’s acting so different... she’s not the same little girl anymore, but I don’t want to lose her or make her permanently mad at me for life lol
I started losing my relationship with my mom around this same age (16) and I’m trying desperately not to let the past repeat itself! I think if we can make it through until she’s in college, everything will balance out again, but these years from about 15-18 are no joke! They can honestly make or break future relationships!

U asked what we wanted to be when i grew up and tbh, mine is a little weird lol. I had a liver and kidney transplant back in 2006 at 13 and the recovery was kinda hard on me physically and mentally. So I wanted to become a counselor for kids that r needing transplants themselves so they know and better understand how recovery would be for them. A little random but that's what I wanted to do.
I just realized, we’re the same age. But you always seem more put together than I feel! Happy belated birthday! I would save some of those toys for birthday parties or even play dates instead of giving them all at once, but I’m cheap that way! 😆
I know this is such a late response. For your bathroom, you could try the contact wallpaper for your countertops? maybe make it a marble so that way you don't have to worry about the floors matching or not?

I’ve had it since I was a child and now handed it down to my oldest daughter and now in her bedroom. I love dolphins ❤️😊🐬

There's always IKEA. 💗You could get a beautiful sink and undercounter refit for your bathroom. They're very reasonably priced. And for the mirror, you definitely could do a DIY ....something pretty or take that down and just put a beautiful framed mirror that you could find @ Homegoods or Kirkland. It doesn't have to be specifically for a bathroom, maybe a nice oval-shaped mirror that you find somewhere. Make it unique, something eye-catching. I would keep the floors, for Florida, aqua is very trendy and just play up on that. Good luck! Projects are always fun but daunting in the beginning. I live in an old 60 year old Florida home myself, I've been in it 15 years and we've had our share of project as well. So I speak from the 💗. 😊

THE WADS Girrrrrl you'll be spinning your head at all the organizational items they have! 😂😂 You will love all the pretty (and cheap) bathroom ideas! Put on your walking shoes and strap on your precious baby and GOooo! 😊💗🌞 and make sure to take your appetite with you because you don't want to leave without stopping at the café and having those wonderful Swedish meatballs before you leave. And remember they are totally baby friendly and they have high chairs and baby spoons and little baby plates and microwave to warm your baby food and formula and everything ...it is very family-friendly because they are a European company.
One YT I fallow used the Hatchamale haul she got for potty training rewards for her toddler. So maybe keep them for when Wentworth is ready.

I think everyone has to pay for the water going down the drain, right? It's the sewer bill. I live in Wisconsin, and pay both for water usage and a month sewer charge based on water usage - it's prorated. So, unless you have your own well and septic, you're paying a sewer charge as well. For me, my sewer charge outweighs the water usage charge by almost double.

Wanted to be in the Air Force! I couldn’t due to medical reasons. I am a medical assistant now. I work part time so I can be a full time mom and wouldn’t change it for the world. ❤️
We have a catchment tank on the Big Island so all our water comes from the rain! We make up the cost in electricity though 😬😬😬

FLAMINGOS. I have owned and managed a small cleaning service since 2000 and I am in a LOT of homes. I have noticed that what people collect matches something about the way they look or their personality. I am not kidding. Think about it.......... Once I brought it to my teams attention...it has become an inside joke (that you are now part of). It's like, Hey Ms. P..... look at all the bullfrogs this client has lol or pigs (client has a skinny body with a pig nose). What yall been collecting up in your houses?

I live in Ohio and we have to pay water and sewage. It is totally ridiculous. I live in a very small town, and we use city water and sewage. It is so expensive. The sewage bill is almost double what we pay for water. :/ The worst part is, I'm on the outskirts of town but close enough that we don't have a septic tank. I just wonder how they know exactly how much of what we use actually goes down the drain? lol
