Modern lightbar design is amazing, with one exception: the alley lights. Most lightbars are mounted at the B-pillar, wheich separates the front and back doors, and the alley lights are mounted in the center of the side of the bar. The result is that the light source is from behind the driver's line of sight, and thus the area illuminated is often off-axis for the driver's vision.

To change the flash patterns that the Freedom Bar displays, you would want to gain access to the wiring harness. Locate the White w/ Violet wire- this is the Scan-Lock wire. When the Bar is on & flashing, if you momentarily touch this wire to a 12V lead, you will advance the Light-heads to the next flash pattern. Continue this step until you have reached a pattern setting you prefer. Once the patterns are set, when the bar is activated, the selected pattern will be how it flashes.

There previously was a 9 Diode Corner Module. It has been replaced with the current 12 Diode.
Whelen's does offer a 6 Diode Corner, but it is available in a version of their Justice Series Lightbar.

I need one of these.
personally I would prefer to have the ability to turn the front LED's off and keep the back lights on. That way when I'm the second car in a traffic stop, I'm still visible by traffic from behind but not blinding my partner in the front.
It can do that, I believe how sirennet sets up their demo bars, slide position 1 is front, position 2 is rear, position 3 is full bar. As he said, the bar is incredibly customizable for function. Like just rediculous the different things this can do.
The serial number and model number on the bottom of the Liberty frame is what you'll need to gain access to. If you wouldn't mind emailing us the numbers, info@sirennet.com, with a breif reference to what your trying to do with your bar, we can check to see if the upgrade parts will work with it.
boy am finding this very complex wiring besides the central module is exposed (which can cause failures due to water or heat) could not be simpler communication type master / slave which would have a maximum of only 4 wires between the elements and the central command?
I want to make my own light bar. I really like the way the Whelen light patterns are. What type of flash pattern control can I use to give my LED's patterns?
add a solar panel to the top with an internal battery so it charges throughout the day and runs of the battery when the car is off.

It's illegal to use one in public (at least in the area where I live) without driving a certified car that can use one of those light bars. Check your local laws first.
TheCheez X i will but i will have to look on the uk laws as thats where i live. But i think they are legal if its just amber colour.
Is there a way to program how the lightbar will display when activated? Our cars have a whelen ultra freedom type lightbar and I was wondering.
The Controller is sold independently from the Light-bar.

You make a reference to cleaning the lenses in an additional video but I can not find the additional video. Where would it be/what is the best way to restore lenses short of buying more?
One of the best products to use for Lenses is Plexus. It can be found at most Auto Parts Stores.

I have a CPS authority bar, it's not bad, but (by no influence by SirenNet) i would definitely agree that the output and functionality of these bars offered are well worth the price, if the output and functionality are required. I run highways alot, so the Traffic Advisor and bright light at a distance are appreciated. If you are in a half mile radius of your reporting location without much traffic, a mini bar or a rotator are all that is necessary. Then again, it's your chequebook.
If your Liberty is a Non-Ballast version, then you should be able to upgrade to the LR-11 Allet Kit.

Why the one red up front , do some agencies order them like that or is that something Stewart put together ?
There's two or three that use this configuration. The Red corner identifies the driver side of the vehicle.
This video isn't about disassembly or reassembly of the light bar, it's about selling the light bar. So, the focus should remain on that aspect. For the reassembly piece of this video, you should take that video segment and speed it up by 2x or 3x (with or without sound or music). It'll make this video a bit shorter, more stylistic and definitely more cool to watch. It also keeps the focus on your sales pitch.

Hi. Does these big LED takedowns and LED alley fit the older version lightbar? I have a Patriot/Liberty, with the old type of top cover. Curently have 6 rear strobers, extended LED corners, and fuld LED front.
Thinking about removing the strobes down to 3 strobe dash misers, and do a full LIN6 on the back also. Might as well take the new LED take down and LR11 LED also.
But does they fit? Would still have the 2 strobe supplies and such in the lightbar. :)
Jesper M. The SXTDLED Take-down Kit & SPALF1 Alley Set will retro fit into the Patriot/SL Liberty Bar. The LR11 Alley's will work perfect with the extended Corner Modules.

ive got a rather old liberty will the TDs fin in my bar even though i have halogen TDs
The Whelen SXTDLED Kit can be used in the older Liberty and Patriot Bar's. So long as you have the 500 Series Halogen Take-downs, this Kit should work just fine. They completely replace the 500 Series Halogen TD's and the black housing there snapped into.
Whelen needs to sell the aluminum base with the bar and as replacement parts.

Lightbar no but in order to have red and Blue you have to be a cop with a department approved car or truck. Check your local laws. most counties and cities require a certified car or company registration
