You could have sent it to Sony if its under warranty but known Sony they could have the controller for weeks. I'd much rather just do it myself, saves the hassle and the springs were super cheap 😁

Mine had been like that for awhile didn’t realize there was a fix and was watching your video to install the rise 4 and when I was taking mine apart saw the spring loose in my controller and had no idea what it was to and threw it away and now just came across this video the next day lol
You've thrown the pad away already? You can buy 5 or 10 springs on eBay for only a few pounds/dollars super easy fix. It's a shame more people don't know about this fix
@@CraigsChannel no I didn’t I’ve just been dealing with it. I didn’t realize there was a fix to it or what the spring was to when installing the rise 4 and threw the spring away lol

It's a common fault on them 010 pads, soon as I seen you wrote the trigger, I was like YUP it's the stupid spring 😄 drift is a nightmare on them as well, Sony need to up their game.
I'm more shocked at you selling the PS, you not using it or getting a PC or something?
I blame my time on Mile Morales I think the adaptive trigger felt way too harsh on that game, it went half way through playing it 😒😄
I won an XSX not too long ago and really like the game pass and VRR, the PS5 has just been gathering dust since!
You can turn down the strength of the haptic in the controller settings, but know they can be harsh.

I actually did a video on the Series controller, to add back buttons like a Scuf. I've got the XSS with Games Pass, really good little console
@@CraigsChannel 😂 Trust me I was just as surprised, it was a great little start to this year. Part of me wants to keep the PS for certain exclusives coming out next year, but let's me honest I can do with the cash!

Can you please do a tutorial installing the clicky button kit, clicky trigger kit, and the RISE 4.0 textured remap kit for PS5 controller?
I originally thought on piecing together your videos through the tutorial and get 1 video all together, but I figured a single installation would be far easier and more convenient. Thank You!

Are you still using PS4? It been a while since anybody asked me about anything PS4.
I like the regular back buttons on the DS4 but if you want an Xbox feel the tournament, I found it a little big for my hands
@@CraigsChannel I am currently using the 2.0 on pc but this controller has seen better days, so im looking into buying a new one and i just wandered which one is better
Once you get the hang of the Dualsense they'll be your new favourite. It took me a good few weeks to get to grips with it but now it feels so much better made, the DS4 feels like a kids toy compared to it.
So if you don't mind buying a newer controller all together, I'd say Dualsense with back buttons.
I'd love to get a PC but only play one game so isn't really worth it for me unfortunately
Can you show how to add the rise 4 remap kit and the led kit on the same controller?

Is this the Dualsense v1? I've noticed Dualsense v2 have the original DS4 v2 springs which I heard are better.
It's the v1, the springs are snapping on most of them. Sony will fix it for free but just means you'll be without a pad for maybe 2 weeks
Loving the videos and have purchased the clicky triggers and rise2 metal paddles (clicky face buttons aren’t in stock at the moment). I was wondering if you could post a video of installing all the parts in one go?
I've got a video installing the back buttons and digital triggers. The front digital triggers I removed as I wasn't a fan of them. I just stuck with the 2 back button and DT. They've released a 4 back button kit, but I'm still only using 2, 4 just seems to many 😄

I followed the trigger video first and then the back paddle video in that order.

My dualsense have the same spring with the dualshock 4 V2. That's why it feel weaker but more durability. The straight one (dualsense V1) more strength but less durability
Can you make a vid on how to install face clicky buttons from extremerate for the BDM 020 Controller. No one on UA-cam has a video on them
It's pretty much the same install on thr 010 and 020, they only changed the plastic pieces you fit to the symbol buttons and Dpad. I did a video on the 010

What grip is best rubberized or textual grip? Anybody knows ?
Rubber ones are my favourite, the texture ones are just as good, but if I had to pick rubber 👍
I've opened it up and can hear the dislodged original springs rattling somewhere but no idea where. Does it matter if I can't get the original springs out?
No doesn't matter if the snapped spring is inside, but it is easy to pop the back cover off, just 4 screws if you've got a small enough screw driver
@@CraigsChannel Thanks very much. I've already got the back cover off following your video. I still have no idea where the rattling springs are. But if you're saying it doesn't matter I'll just leave them wherever they are.
It'll only matter if you shake the pad around and hear the rattling all the time 😄
If you've popped the back off I'm suprised the tiny piece hasn't just fallen out!
If you've seen my videos on the back button kit, if you ever decide to install them, hunt for the piece of mental then 👍
I installed all the pieces like the video, but when I finished the installation and came to the settings in order to switch k1 and k1, when I press it, it gives me a flash and when I try it it does not work, what is the problem?
Have you exited remap mode?
My comment is supposed to be on this video (RISE4 back kit form eXtremerate PS5), but I wanted to comment on the last video for speed, and my problem is that the piece did not work after the installation was completed on the game, but when I press two buttons it gives me a red flash (k1 x) (k2 o)@@CraigsChannel

The R1 key no longer works for me, yet nothing is missing. Can you give me advice? It is a BDM 010 ps5 controller

@@CraigsChannel Hello and sorry for the late reply. Yes, I mounted trigger stops on ExtremeRate and Remap Kit 4. After a few months only R1 no longer goes
R1 doesn't work? Did you fit the clicky digital triggers?
