Thankyou sir. This is exactly what I've been searching for. I'm not a student, just someone who really wants to learn this for personal reasons. This video is very helpful and answered my questions. Cheers.

Thanks it helped
Glad to hear that!
Thank you!!! Not sure why Google changed this. It used to be Right Click, select What's Here? and click on the decimals. It pops up with Lat/Long already. Now we have to convert in an extra step sort of. Hmmmm. Any way to change the default to DMS in settings? Couldn't find any ways to do this.
is there an app that I could use to determine my precise coordinates as I stand in one specific place (not just general)? I believe surveyors of land use a device that determines the coordinates at any one point of a specific land lot when they are surveying the land. Is there an app that would do that? Would that app give me specific coordinates at point A and different coordinates some 20 feet away from point A at point B?
thank you matt damon
😆👍
Can you provide a written step by step of how to find coordinates with the phone?
Thank you.
Welcome!
thanks a lot
You're welcome 😉
Tysm😊😊
You're welcome!
Not what I thought this was, how about having the actual coordinates but you're not sure how they go into the boxes? IE something like Latitude: 35° 23' 59" N
Longitude: 24° 8' 59" E
Lat/Long (dec): 35.4,24.15"
On a Mac option/shift/8 for the degree sign. 😊
nice job
😀
Thanks 😁
What if I am using thuraya phones that don't have maps on it l, so how can I go to a location point with latitude and longitude??
How to disable logitud and latitude

What is the meaning of ten of the second and 100 of the second. How to write it.
wow, matt damon
That's is helpful but is it possible to find a place using x and y coordinate only
Hi, yes it is. In Google maps, just type the coordinates in the search as indicated in the video. You can also do it on a physical map, but below are a few other videos if you' like to see some more. All the best with the studies! ua-cam.com/video/IgZfnlHYrfI/v-deo.html.

I just want to search the coordinates on my map to go to that specific location/Destination. Not find find coordinates for a location.
Sir I have a question . Dose lattitude or longitude taken from Google Maps changes by time or not?
It won't just change under normal circumstances; especially not over a short period of time. The only way the coordinates of a place can change is when the tectonic plates move significantly. This will either take a very long time, or if the tectonic plates move a long way (over a short period of time) - which would cause massive earthquakes, etc. So I would say that it's very unlikely for us to witness any significant change. Your question actually got me thinking there. Have a nice day!
THX! now i can threaten my friends!
