▬ How does the Google Maps scraper work ? ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
1. Install the ImportFrromWeb add-on
2. Open a new Google Sheets and activate ImportFromWeb from the menu Extensions
3. Search for a place or a company in Google Maps, open it and take the URL (www.google.com/maps/place/xxxx)
4. Paste the URL
5. Write: =IMPORTFROMWEB("URL", "website,phone_number")
6. And voilà!
Its pop up 'Total_Quota_Reached' ... I just used 2 days.. and i used for 200 links only... Because it's said 1 month free trial... Can you help on this 😢
For Google Maps, 1 request costs you 10 credits, so with a free trial you can scrape 100 Google Maps URLs.

do I need to manually input the urls? or is there an automated way to just put in all the urls

While emails are not directly available via Google Maps, tehre are 2workarounds for this:
- use IMPORTFROMWEB and the “emails” generic selector on any webpage: IMPORTFROMWEB("www.example.com", "emails")
- use IMPORTFROMGOOGLE to perform a boolean search: =IMPORTFROMGOOGLE("your query @gmail.com","emails")

First, I want to congratulate you for the information shared in this video, it has been a great help to solve the need I have in my project. However, in my case I need to extract the information from Gmaps, not from the url that you copy and paste into the Gsheets cell, but from a smart chips, I mean, in my Gsheets cell I have an place under the smart chip format and I would like to extract from this smart chip extra information like city, state and zip code, etc.
Is this possible or do you know how I can do it? Greetings and thanks for your time!

Unfortunately, at the moment Google doesn't offer an option to read into smart chips. I hope they will give us the right tools to have ImportFromWeb interact with smartchips soon

not really, google maps usually returns a max of 250 results, so IMPORTFROMWEB can not go beyond

Explanation and getting the extension and the add on, excellent! But when I tried to use it it in my sheet, I got the error #ALL SELECTORS RETURN NULL when all of them are right. I carefully did the formula, adding each cell, etc and yet even just with one selector I got this error. =(,,,

as to emails, the tool can not retrieve email addresses since Google Maps does not contain/show email addresses
It worked for the first time, but then the data disappeared and it doesn't work anymore, the formula returned "error" altho I followed the same formula as per instruction

Why I've the error #parsing_field ???
This error may arise sometimes when the scraper fail at fetching the webpage.
In that case, if you have the ImportFromWeb sidebar open, the formula will be triggered till it succeeds.
