    Hyro you seem like an old friend and I find a great comfort in watching your videos, especially after the past couple of weeks we lost our little boy he was only 14 but he was a shining spot in our lives and I understand God has plans and we as bottles have to abide by them but when I watch your videos, I pray other times altogether the serenity of the beautiful island of Aruba and the memories that we have going back to 1968 staying at the Sheraton with the swaying Palm trees at night and the beautiful beaches and wonderful people I guess that when I think about it, that’s what keeps me going and your videos connect to thatkeep me going thank you

    Great job! Note: I’ve been 18 times in the last 23 years and would like to tell people the amount of seaweed on the beaches is very rare. The public works do a great job maintaining the beaches and typically Eagle beach is pure white sand.

    Good video! The far end of Eagle beach, towards the Costa Linda resort and Manchebo beach is the best IMO. We spent 3 weeks in an AirBNB within 12 mins. walking distance of Eagle Beach and very close to SuperFoods grocery store. Definitely the best bang for your buck vs. staying at a resort. Just make sure you get one with a pool, as it's hot, hot, hot there! Agree about Flying Fishbone; it was awesome! The lighthouse....not so much. Very much a tourist trap. Small passageway to get to the top and when there, it's all screened in, so pictures aren't as good. We took the Arubus several times to visit different places/beaches and felt safe throughout our trip. Rented a car for 3 days as well to see some of the other popular sights, including the natural pool and old church on the north side of the island. Definitely a big change in the surroundings when you head to the other side of island.😯

    Best vacation I've ever been on went for 10 days. Rented the car from the airport, I should say a Jeep. It was beautiful, amazing. Safer than traveling, the streets of St. Louis Missouri totally, safe🎉🎉🎉

    I've been to Aruba twice and I've never had a mesquito anywhere near me. Mainly because of the tradewinds.

    I've been to Aruba about 12 or so times and I've got to say, this is probably one of the most accurate and helpful portrayals of the island for any first time visitor to watch. I'm halfway through it now. Just a few things so far. Where were you when you got all bitten up by mosquitos? I've never had that problem. Also, when you said the ocean is very warm, were you off Palm beach? I've always found the water to be on the cooler side, but that's on Eagle Beach. The water in baby beach is very warm, but that's not where you were jet skiing. Ok, continuing the video now....

      Also....No need to convert money when you go. The US dollar is accepted island wide. And I know that you guys stayed at the Divi all inclusive. But unless you plan on doing all of your eating and drinking at the hotel, you might want to reconsider staying at an all inclusive resort such as the Divi sister hotels. If you plan on enjoying the many different dining options the island offers, there's no need to pay big bucks ($300-400/night) for an all inclusive resort. Also, if you don't want to rent a car, Aruba has an excellent and inexpensive bus system with routes that go all over the island. You can go all the way to Baby Beach and Arashi Beach using the vast Arubus system. Taxis, which aren't too expensive, are also an option. If you do rent a car, be aware that there are no traffic lights at all on the island. It's all traffic circles, which could be a little confusing. Again, great video.

    Aruba is def on my Caribbean bucketlist, but I know it can be a bit expensive if you are looking for an all inclusive resort.

    • @TheLoversPassport
      @TheLoversPassport  Рік тому +1

      Yes it does get a bit pricey, but the quality of all inclusive is incredible! We loved the Divi resort we stayed at!

      The best idea is to avoid all inclusive. There many, many fantastic restaurants around the isle.
      I just live Rennaissance resorts. They have private beaches and wonderful restaurants.
      I Will return for my 6th visit next May!

    Divvy Tamarind costs over $800.00 a night:(
    Can you please recommend an affordable Airbnb withing 5-10 minutes walk to the nice beaches if you know of any? Looking for $150.00 or less per night, but still safe and nice, if there are any.

    • @TheLoversPassport
      @TheLoversPassport  Рік тому +2

      The prices vary depending on the time of the year you visit, unfortunately. If you go on Airbnb and set your preference for price, beach proximity, etc. it will recommend locations for you!
