- Hey everyone .. In this video I am showing you how Epoxy Resin and Jesmonite can be used together. I not only forgot how shiny Resin is .. but also loved the contrast between the shiny and Matte finish of the Jesmonite.

****UPDATE*** I have taken these off of my Etsy the jesmonite has separated from the resin.
Thank you for the update. Have you found a workaround where the resin does not separate from the Jesmonite?

@@Barebeautynyc1 heyyyyy lovely ... sorry I've just seen this. Yes the resin does stick to the jesmonite ... but jesmonite does not stick to resin. Its nit strong enough to grip. So .... pour jesminite first then Epoxy x

I am watching from Rancho Cordova, California, USA. I have done Tole painting on wooden ornaments, I have made Melt and Pour soaps and recently (2/3 months) into Resin. I am not an artsy person and all of these crafts have helped me be so. I'm actually teaching my 9 year old how to do tole painting and M&P. @@ClairesCraftyCorner it really is. My grandmother and my mother both did it for craft fairs and for Christmas gifts. You can tole paint larger wood items too, but the ornaments is what I enjoy doing. ❣️

I am watching from Galapagos. To keep molds in the right shape, I cut a hole in cardboard that is the perfect size to slip over it (especially my coffin molds). This keeps the mold from bulging out.

I love the resin/jesmonite mix. The mould is gorgeous & the colours are beautiful. The line between the two mediums is stunning as is the gloss/matte mix 💜

I have been DP’ing for over 3 years but just started doing resin stuff for about a month so I’m a resin newbie but learning lots of tips and tricks from people like you on You Tube! So helpful!
