St Johns comes only under KEA. It does not come under MCC All India counseling. All deemed universities come under MCC All India Counseling. All private self financing colleges and private universities come under the state counseling.

You can do it. But, there will be lot of problems. Avoid doing it. If you have a 600+ score, then you can register for government colleges only. If not, what's the point in just registering for govt colleges only?
@@sjaisankar6643 you need to RESET your registration if you want to add deemed universities in round 2. MCC will delay enabling the RESET button. Or, RESET button may not work for you. You will be under a lot of stress and anxiety as the deadline comes nearer to fill choices. So, it's not advisable.
Sir, I have sent an email to MCC for Indian to NRI conversion already during the given stipulated time and while just checking during registration today it is showing as general and no mention of NRI category.

It is not considered an upgrade as they come under different counseling. If you resign before the start of R2, you may not face many issues. After the start of R2, there may be penalties.

If you leave before start of round 2, its possible. If you don't get any upgrade in R2, they may also allow you to resign within two days of R2 results. Its followed in the previous years. But, nothing stated in this year's prospectus.

I have repeatedly said this in so many videos. An NRI is eligible for government colleges, management quota seats in deemed universities and NRI quota in deemed universities. You don't get any community reservation or minority reservation. That's all.
@@jayaprakash7839 you are unlikely to get KMC Manipal. In Karnataka, you may get the least preferred private colleges or you can get private universities. In TN, you can get a management seat. For the government quota, you may be on the borderline.

Colleges will return the documents immediately. There won't be any issues.
Refund may take time, but documents will be returned on the same day.
Are there any separate registration fees or counseling fees for Deemed University or private medical colleges?
For deemed universities, the registration fees is Rs. 5000 and security deposit is 2 lacs.
For private colleges, it depends on the respective states.
