A lower kv motor doesn't mean a bigger motor. It means how many rpm you get per volt (unloaded). A lower kv rating means slower speed, but higher torque. A higher kv would be higher speed, but lower torque. Personally for my build, I used a 170kv motor, because it gives a lot of torque necessary to climb huge hills, and has more than enough speed.
Motor size on the other handis classified by four digits - motor diameter (mm) for 2 digits, and motor length (mm) for 2 digits. An example of this would be a 6374 motor, as it appears you are using. the 63 means the diameter of the motor is 63mm, and the 74 is the length of the motor. Other common sizes include 5054 (often used in prebuild boards), and 6354.
Nice board though and good job explaining everything with detail.

Amazing video; I really enjoy long detailed videos compared to short videos that skip over a lot of the details. Keep up the good work!

Look into a parallel balance charging board for your battery charging.
Read up on voltage difference requirements of batteries to charge in parallel.

Charging at 5a would be a standard charge for a 5000mah pack.
    That is 1c.
10amps would be a fast charge.
0.5a is just crazy crazy slow.

I'm aware of this, but if you have plenty of time, or maybe charging overnight, as a personal preference I like to charge the batteries slowly. Less heat and more peace of mind for me.

@@SciCynicalInventing charging lipo's unattended (overnight) is far more dangerous than monitoring at 1c charge rate.

@@ryanokeefe12 Whos to say im not keeping a sensor near the batteries to monitor overnight charging?

@@SciCynicalInventing cop out response. regardless, in answer to your question, it doesn't take long at all for a 3s lipo to start a decent fire when it's near full charge.
