If we're talking cheap here then don't forget the tomato cans along with aluminum soup cans. If the tomato sauce can is too big a diameter after you have both ends off then cut it down the side and roll it inside itself. Where the seam is that might leak put some Permatex 80335 and they clamp it. I used an aluminum can to repair a broken sway bar clamp on a 1996 Toyota Camry. Using the clamp as a template, I put the cut opened can against it to drill a couple of holes and tin snipe it to the correct size. I then layed it on the rubber bushing, put the broken clamp over the bushing and soda can and bolted it down. Waa laa, the banging stopped when you made turns. We did replace the broken clamp but not until a year more of driving in it. Hey whatever works and whatever it takes. Good stuff Brother. Happy Motoring. Hope all is well up north there.

YES! I have a 2002 and a 2011 Rav4. Had to do something similar to my 02 exhaust. You gave me the idea for the stainless clamps. They work great.
