There are some builds that just make me grin like a loon remembering them. This is one of them. It was easy, fun, and smooth to assemble. There weren’t any hiccups along the way; all of the pieces fit together seamlessly without the aid of glue, I might add. The detailing was unique, and I loved the character it lent the bakery.
The only improvement I would suggest is using actual words instead of the Latin placeholders for text. You’ve seen the “Lorem ipsum….etc.” appear in text samples of templates or generic documents, right? Unfortunately, this was on the menu board upstairs. While salmon with coffee (on another menu board) isn’t necessarily appetizing to me, at least it’s better than not replacing the generic placeholders at all. Everything else was detailed and finessed. Why was this missed?
Side note: the moveable pieces, the girl and the sandwich board, made this seem more like a toy dollhouse than a book nook. Maybe that’s just me.
