One thing you should also take into account is the would only has a few hundred meters of height, and a fraction of that is actually minable earth. We have mines that go kilometers deep and have metals that don't even exist in the game. Although the ore content of minecraft is generally much richer than earth. I don't know how that effects total value, but you should include it for a video
A fraction is a strong word, about 128 height of blocks, the terrain is now much higher but oceans take up a huge part of the world so it cancels out, but 1/3 is not a fraction, I know I sound like a 🤓
Plus you'd have access to resources like netherrack (something that can burn forever) or netherrite (something that's extremely strong), so those would probably be extremely valuable as well, if we include a Minecraft world's associated Nether and End worlds. And you wouldn't have to worry about Americans showing up, since there's no oil there.

Minecraft is wider than Earth, but not as deep. Earth's crust is apready much thicker than Minecraft's overworld, and we aren't even counting the mantle+core yet, all worth incredibly ammounts of money, considering most iron and gold on Earth are actually in the planet's core
The Minecraft world also has a bunch of pre-built structures, portals to other dimensions, and not to mention, the Minecraft Overworld is also incredibly habitable.
@@WatermelonDoge if you consider the habitability of other planets in the galaxy/our solar system, the Minecraft world is extremely habitable even despite it's creatures
@Yrrah908 The minecraft world is actually smaller, it is wider and longer, but is flat, it has a length and width of 30 million meters, but only has a height 384 meters. So it has way less volume by over 1,000,000x.
The relative composition of rare materials on earth are vastly different compared to a minecraft world sooo you can't literally calculate the result by doing this multiplication. He just gave the most important reasons why the value difference is so big.
Let's say 5-8g of gold is a minecraft nugget. Okay, so 1 gold ore, which is a cubic meter of gold ore (aka, a lot of kilograms) If a cubic meter of ore gives you 1 ingot of gold, 9 nuggets, it means each cubic meter is WAY less gold than a real life gold ore. Still, is true Minecraft chunks get hell of a lot more resources than real life 16m² of ground.
Something that should be noted is a minecraft worlds lack of some resources such as pink diamonds, which are considerably more valuable than a normal diamond
And the fact that this world has already been depleted of most its resources as shown in Minecraft legends where ores are just everywhere, that would probably triple the world’s worth, crazy😮
We do not know end of minecraft world, because of the border and chunk limit. But we know 60 billion blockcs(or it was 60 million) is a straight line. Soo its an accutally massive planet, and if we think, the nethers top has bedrock but also over worlds last part. But theres a great gas part. Which is dense enough to make outer land(overworld) and inner land(nether) cannot connect. And nether also ends with bedrock, so theres something inner. An actual metalic ball?
The problem is that gold is a renewable resource, so your world should be infinitely valuable. But the price of gold also has to do with its rarity and commonality. If everyone has it, or it just isn’t that hard to find, then its price will go down significantly
While that might be true at the start, anyone who’s played Minecraft knows that there’s hardly any value to gold because of its limited use and (more relevant) abundance. If we somehow had access to the Minecraft world, we would quickly tank the value of gold and silver and platinum will be the new “gold standard”. Though electronics might be a lot cooler if we had a surplus in the world as gold is really helpful there.
You can buy things from villagers such as Diamond and gold tools infinitely, and you can make other worldly enchantments, potions, mobs and materials. So it’s safe to say a single Minecraft would is worth an infinite amount of money.
you also have to consider structures like villages, ocean monuments, pyramids etc. and the nether and end dimensions since they have gold and diamonds that can be found and ANCIENT DEBRIS. Also, what's the value of minecraft mobs? They are bigger than mobs irl and you have to do the math on how much milk can be produced from one minecraft vs irl cow. also chickens only drop a certain amount of feathers compared to irl, this logic can be applied to pretty much all other mobs and their crafting recipies and just so many factors!!
This is a severe understatement. I was bored so I calculated how much the diamonds in the world alone are worth. A cubic metre diamond block would be worth around $100 million according a random Reddit thread I found. The average Minecraft chunk has 3.7 diamonds in it. If we multiply 3.7 by the number of chunks in a Minecraft world (14,062,500,000,000) we get a total of 52,031,250,000,000 diamond ore. Assuming we were to not mine any of it using fortune, we can divide that by 9 to see how many diamond blocks we would be able to make which gives us 5,781,250,000,000. Now multiply that by $100 million to get us a small amount of $5,781,250,000,000,000,000,000 or 5.7 sextillion dollars worth of diamonds alone in the average Minecraft world.
Quick fact though, the average gold I got is around 11-13 kg, converted to grams being 11,000 - 13,000 grams. The video states that since every nugget is around 5-8 grams, which means that it is also indirectly stating than a gold ingot would weigh around 72 grams when using the higher weight. That’s simply not true by a factor of 153 times (conservatively).
Well.. not really... I watched a guy comparing amount of ores irl and in minecraft over same area. What you said in terms of gold is true HOWEVER for example iron ore can have up to 40% purity irl (I think it could be hematite) Also gold emeralds etc has different amounts
Neptune is 4 times wider than earth??? Meaning it has 64 times more volume. But it’s probably more accurate to use area which would be 16. Either way it doesn’t give you 12.
And not just monetary value. Theres gotta be crap loads of historical value too, with all the temples, ruins, villages, etc. And then there's the magic dimensional travel to 2 completely different dimensions, each one containing EVEN MORE monetary, and historical value.
Yes, but in a very similar long form video by Wifies he also used an equation made by an actual physicist to determine the value of a planet and came up with the Minecraft world being worth less than a cent. This is because the equation favours planets with earth like size and gravity, and, as you said, Minecraft earth is very far from being close to real life in either of those metrics.
Thattts not how it works. The more there resources the less they cost. So if there infinite water, it be sales for free or a VEEEEERY small price cuz nobody will gonna buy water expensive if it's EVERYWHERE
To shortify the video, think of 4x2 and 4x4 instead of doubling with 4x2 to multiply the amount that you get per amount of quantity described, such as 4x4
